Sis, You Were Tricked

"I don't want to watch anymore!" Ryan Lu said. "It's filthy in here!"

Henry Xiao looked a bit embarrassed and said, "I didn't expect the Hundred Blossoms Paradise flower gathering to be like this either! Since we don't want to watch, let's go out and walk around instead!"

At his suggestion, the group headed downstairs and walked outside.

When they reached the corner, Ryan Lu couldn't help but glance back.

That one glance made him shiver all over.

"What's wrong?" Henry Xiao asked.

"She—" Ryan Lu pointed toward the third floor.

The others turned to look as well, just in time to see that same woman leaning intimately in Marcus Xuanchen's arms while he stroked her face, lost in a world of their own.

"Oh, come on, stop staring!" Henry Xiao pulled Ryan away.

Once they were outside, Henry shook his head and said, "I really didn't expect the customs down here to be so open! Look at those girls' outfits—even their thighs are showing!"

He looked apologetic and said, "Sisters, this place really isn't suitable for women. It's my fault for not checking, and bringing you here so rashly. I'm really sorry."

Lucia Lu shook her head and said nothing.

"But! I heard there's a market over there with lots of unique and interesting things! Shall we go take a look?" Henry Xiao asked carefully, watching her reaction.

Lucia didn't object and flew with him toward the market.

After flying for a while, she realized someone was missing.

She looked back and saw her second brother still standing there, staring blankly at the white palace.

"Ryan Lu!" she called. "What are you doing?"

Ryan Lu snapped out of it and followed after them.

The market inside the paradise was bustling.

People came and went, and the cries of vendors filled the air.

Sure enough, there were plenty of new and interesting things at the market they'd never seen before.

Ornaments made from flowers, pastries made from flowers, hats made from flowers, and so on.

Henry Xiao kept telling them to take whatever they liked—he'd pay for it.

However, Lucia and her sister weren't very interested in these things.

They both preferred living, growing flowers.

Later, they saw some eggs labeled with all sorts of flower names and finally stopped to take a look.

When they asked, they found out these eggs were small Spirit Artifacts with a flower seed inside.

Inside, there was soil and spiritual energy to help them grow. Just crack the shell, add a little water, and the plant would sprout, grow, and bloom into a beautiful flower.

Lucia thought it was pretty interesting, so she picked out a few to give as gifts and decided to raise one herself.

Henry Xiao rushed to pay, but Lucia politely refused, saying she planned to give them away as gifts, and it wouldn't be right for him to pay for them.

He had no choice but to give up, looking visibly disappointed.

Later, he took the three of them to a scenic spot for some elegant flower tea and delicious pastries.

Soon, evening was approaching.

The four of them admired the beautiful scenery of Hundred Blossoms Paradise as they left and returned to Drake Abyss.

Henry Xiao seemed preoccupied.

After returning to Drake Abyss, he didn't see them off, just parted ways and went straight to the Celestial Palace.

After he left, Luna Lian smiled and said, "Sis, you were tricked."

Lucia smiled but didn't say anything.

The more oblivious Ryan Lu asked in confusion, "Tricked how?"

"Think about it—a 'flower gathering' like this, how could the Peony Pass really be presented to the Celestial Empress? It must have been given to Fourth Highness, and he borrowed her name as a pretext to invite my sister out to have fun."
