Evan Chu and the two women sat on Goldwing's back, the wind howling past their ears—his speed was even faster than teleportation! The Golden Demon Roc's flight was no joke, and now that Goldwing was going all out, even the three of them were shocked.
After about three hours of flying, Goldwing's speed slowed just a bit. Flying at full force burned through Immortal Spirit Force like crazy—even though Goldwing was already at late Immortal Emperor level, it was still rough on him.

Evan realized Goldwing must've used some kind of self-harming secret art to push his speed even higher. Having a brother like this moved him deeply.
With everyone anxiously waiting, Evan and the two women finally arrived at Frostbane Imperial Palace. "Boss, I'm gonna go recover for a while—I've burned way too much energy and need to go into seclusion. Don't worry about me, just go check on your wife!"
Goldwing instantly shifted back to human form, but his face was pale and he looked really weak. "Old Goldwing, thank you! Go rest—I'll go see Selena now!"
After Evan spoke, he rushed straight to Selena's room. He'd already asked about the room's location on the way back. When he and the two women appeared in front of Yvonne Xuan and the others, the anxious faces finally broke into smiles.
Gavin Wei hurried over to Evan. "Boss, did you bring back Selena's remnant soul?"
"I'm fine. It'll heal in time, so you all don't need to worry!" Evan said calmly.
"Dad! Your hand—where's your arm?" Lynn Chu suddenly noticed Evan's empty sleeve and couldn't help but cry out.
At her words, everyone turned to look at his arm, their faces filled with shock. "Evan, what on earth happened to you in the Demonic Realm? How did you get hurt so badly?" Yvonne Xuan couldn't help but ask.
Several women immediately burst into tears. Princess Ivy glanced at Evan and said, "I know you're afraid we'll worry, but we're your closest family. Is there really anything left for you to hide from us?"
Just as Evan was about to answer, Selena Yale spoke up: "Lynn, Jade, you were with Evan—why don't you explain what happened? We know you rushed back and must be exhausted, but with Evan missing an arm, we can't rest easy unless we know the reason."
Evan replied helplessly, "Lynn and Jade weren't at the scene. The enemy we ran into in the Demonic Realm was way too strong—even stronger than the Yin–Yang Demon Empress. I lost my arm killing that guy, but don't worry, I'll be able to regrow it after some time in seclusion."
"If Evan can regrow his arm, then you all don't need to worry. Let's not disturb his cultivation any longer. We've all been anxious about Selena for so long—it's time to disperse!" Yvonne Xuan said.
"Yvonne's right. We're all exhausted from this ordeal. Everyone should go rest. I'll recover in Selena's room—I want her to see me first when she wakes up," Evan said.
Everyone knew how much Selena meant to Evan. Now that things had turned out this way, his guilt ran even deeper. Even if anyone wanted to object, they could only hold their tongues.
