Reincarnation (Part Two)

1/11/2026

Race-traitors are universally rejected by all races, belonging to those whose soul and will have become abnormally twisted.

It is like a malignant mutation in aggressive cells—no one can truly trace its process, and the real cause remains shrouded in mystery. Only beings several orders above the race-traitor in life hierarchy might be able to uncover the truth.

——

In the vast darkness of starspace, after the ambush, residual shockwaves linger.

The shockwaves from the fierce battle spread in all directions. If left unchecked, they could travel hundreds of light-years; the destructive might of Cosmic Eternal Realm combat is profoundly penetrating.

“Hmph.”

Yet the South‑Sage Ancient Emperor merely swept his gaze over the scene.

Wherever his gaze fell, the waves were smoothed, the desolate light dissipated, as if nothing had ever happened—only fragments of shattered stars remained.

"Awakened Beasts Race..."

The South‑Sage Ancient Emperor stood with his hands behind his back, his gold-and-silver robe stirring with unfathomable ripples: “Strictly speaking, this third‑rate life race was among the very first to become vassals of the Human Race. How could they be so careless this time, letting a race‑traitor emerge in their midst without anyone knowing?”

Even so.

His pupils remained indifferent: “Regardless of whatever punishment Archaic Hall imposes, I alone will no longer permit you to remain on the South‑Sage frontier to recuperate.”

That's right.

It is time for the Awakened Beasts Race to relocate—to the Darkest Starspace.

As emperor of the South‑Sage Ancient Kingdom, he indeed holds that right.

“Transmit my decree.” The Ancient Emperor toyed idly with a colorless orb communicator, yet was in fact issuing an imperial order; the subsequent handling would naturally fall to others, sparing him further effort.

Immediately after,

He took a deep breath, channeling thunder law through his hands, his eyes sinking into vortex-like depths: “Let me see which civilization dares defy the cosmic order and accept the race-traitor Kechron of the Quibeasts.”

The Nether Clan or the Light Clan?

The Shenro Clan, lords of fate, should be above such things.

As his gaze shifted, vortexes manifested; the South‑Sage Ancient Emperor pushed his vision to its limits, piercing spacetime to look deep into the distant Darkest Starspace.

"South‑Sage Ancient Emperor."

Not far away, Andrew Han, blood still trickling from his brow, glanced at the South‑Sage Ancient Emperor’s attire before looking away.

The emperor’s robe closely resembled that of Prince Sean Nan from the Primeval Era—indeed, it was the same royal lineage. But what did the gold and silver colors signify? Andrew couldn’t help but think of his own soul, which was woven from gold and crimson.

Could the two colors represent two directions of talent and comprehension?

As he pondered,

His path‑protector, Lu Yang, strode over in a few quick steps.

"Your Highness."

Lu Yang fixed his gaze on Andrew Han’s brow: “This wound is difficult to heal. Let me help you.”

“No need, really.” Andrew quickly waved his hand in refusal. “I can sense that having this wound at my brow greatly aids my understanding of the Tenacity Origin Talent.”

“Is there really such a thing?”

Lu Yang was genuinely startled.

Given this, perhaps this unprecedented Tenacity-type Origin Talent may yet rank among the finest of all.

"Lu Yang."

Andrew Han caught sight of the South‑Sage Ancient Emperor in the distance, hands forming thunder seals, and felt a chill in his heart. He sincerely asked Lu Yang, “I’d like to know exactly what ‘race-traitor’ means. I’ve read widely but never found any mention.”

It wasn't just him.

Even the advanced Intelligent Core, Bailey, couldn’t explain it.

Despite its Spark‑Heritage expansion, Bailey possessed a vast databank encompassing all phenomena, recording even the faintest clues. Yet it could not find a definition for ‘race-traitor,’ which Andrew found deeply puzzling.

“Race-traitors are connected to reincarnation... I’ll explain it to Your Highness in detail later.” Lu Yang spoke softly. “For now, I’ll check on the Guard Corps casualties. The aftermath of this ambush will be handled by the South‑Sage Ancient Emperor—I’ll keep following up, and report any progress to Your Highness.”

As he spoke,

He walked over to the Guard Corps members.

Of the twenty-four Cosmic Eternal Realm members, eight had fallen, thirteen were gravely wounded, and only three sustained minor injuries.

“Casualties are acceptable,” Lu Yang said hoarsely, surveying everyone present. “I’ve reported the entire ambush to Archaic Hall; those deserving reward will not be overlooked. As for the dead... you all know how hard it is to resurrect a fallen Cosmic Eternal Realm lifeform. Even if a Supreme intervened, the cost would be far too great.”

“Understood.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

At that moment,

With a deep voice and white hair tied back, Andrew Han stepped before the crowd, bowed deeply, and solemnly declared, “If I reach the Supreme Realm in the future, I will bring the fallen back.”

……

At the border between the South‑Sage Ancient Kingdom and the Shen‑Huang Ancient Kingdom, the narrow gap between two ancient realms, lay the territory granted by the Human Race to the Awakened Beasts Race.

At the deepest part of that territory,

Beyond towering mountains and through the prismatic star mist lay the core valley of the Awakened Beasts Race.

“Alas.”

“Where has Krue Murren’s father, Kechron, gone?” Grand Elder Xiturok gazed down at the sacred training ground, his eyes settling on the ancient statue at its center. “If only our Supreme were still here, at least we wouldn’t have to live in such fear.”

Below, in the sacred training ground, six-hooved beasts inhaled clouds and exhaled mist, some feeding on radiant light, others cultivating their states. The vast sanctuary was unusually quiet at that moment.

Earlier,

The Human King’s fury and Lu Yang’s bold incursion into the core valley had placed immense pressure on the Awakened Beasts, stirring a drive for cultivation and evolution.

But it was all for naught.

Weak races have no freedom—this was no empty saying.

“Alas.”

Xiturok sighed again, his six hooves gently swaying.

He didn’t know why,

but a sense of foreboding lingered.

“Kechron...”

“Krue Murren’s father...”

“Soon to be appointed as the next Grand Elder of our council...” Xiturok frowned in thought. “Why would I care about a mere Grand Elder seat? Clearly, someone is lurking in the shadows, trying to sow discord among the elders and disrupt our unity.”

Xiturok, the current Grand Elder.

Kechron, the next Grand Elder.

Though rumors of discord between them sometimes circulated in the core valley, in truth, the two were close and often exchanged insights on evolution. As high-ranking members of the same race, even strained relations had their limits—mere nodding acquaintances were the minimum.

“Kechron.”

Xiturok glanced down at his star‑sky communicator.

Beside him,

his favored offspring, Xituges of the Everpalace Primordium, slowly raised his head. “Ancestor, why hesitate? In my view, there’s no need to guess—it’s definitely Kechron!”

“Hm?” Xiturok glanced at his descendant Xituges, falling silent for a moment.

“Ancestor.” Xituges grew anxious. “Quickly apprehend Kechron and hand him over to King Andrew Han, lest our entire race suffer!”

Having witnessed Andrew Han’s fury firsthand, a shadow had been left on Xituges’s heart—a lingering fear he could not dispel.

After all, he was only Everpalace Primordium.

In this life, he’d never met any Eternal King besides Andrew Han.

“Enough, you needn’t say more.”

Xiturok, somewhat agitated, shook his rectangular head.

Xituges wanted to persist, “Ancestor...”

“Enough! Such insolence!” Xiturok’s face darkened. “What’s all this talk of apprehending Kechron? He is the next Grand Elder—how could you convict him on mere suspicion? Foolish talk of implicating the whole race! Over the years, our Awakened Beasts Race may not have achieved much, but we’ve worked hard. Even if the Human Race disregards this, they would never punish us severely over something so trivial.”

Hearing this,

Xituges breathed a sigh of relief, feeling both unburdened and hopeful. “Really?”

“Of course.”

Grand Elder Xiturok’s eyes flashed with pride. He put away his star‑sky communicator and looked up at the distant star mist.

Just one glance.

Xiturok’s head changed color. “Human envoy arriving?”

Boom!

Lightning exploded across heaven and earth!

Multicolored star mist churned violently, rolling in all directions. Unfathomable divine might poured through the mist, casting billions of rays of light. The immeasurable majesty of the heavens filled every corner of the valley; even space and time seemed to freeze.

“Imperial Edict of the South‑Sage Ancient Kingdom has arrived!”

“All members of the Awakened Beasts Race—by order, you are to leave Human territory within half a star-year. Migrate immediately. No mistakes will be tolerated!”
