"Is that so?" Henry Tuoba smiled.
"Minister Zhuo and I are willing to assist you, to act as your informants and help you resolve matters as soon as possible," Evan Xiao said.
Henry Tuoba paused for a moment and said, "Actually, I know he's colluding with Tobias Tuoba."
"Your Majesty is truly wise!" Minister Zhuo immediately looked invigorated.
With this, Henry Tuoba would trust them even more.
"As for Colin Gu, I've been on guard for a while," Henry Tuoba added. "It's just..."
"Just what?" Minister Zhuo asked in confusion.
"There's one thing I can confirm," Henry Tuoba said. "There is a member of the Divine Race hiding in the Blue Moon Kingdom."
"Di-Divine Race?" Minister Zhuo's eyes widened.
Henry Tuoba looked at Evan Xiao. "I don't know what the Divine Lord is doing in the Blue Moon Kingdom. So, unless I receive clear instructions from the Divine Lord, I dare not act rashly."
Grace glanced at Evan Xiao when she heard this.
She thought of the dragon at the General's Manor.
Was the Divine Race Henry Tuoba mentioned referring to that dragon?
Evan Xiao had been quietly standing there. After a moment of silence, he looked at Henry Tuoba and asked, "Your Majesty, how can you be sure your information is correct?"
"I didn't get the news from anywhere specific," Henry Tuoba replied. "I just deduced it from certain events. For example, some things that were lost and then regained."
Evan Xiao's brows twitched slightly.
It seemed the Emperor of the Vermilion Kingdom was far more perceptive than anyone in the Blue Moon Kingdom.
Maybe he'd discovered, through some means, that the initial essence of the House Drake could revive a Spirit Root.
And coincidentally, Grace's Spirit Root had been revived.
So, was that why he suspected she was part of the Divine Race?
"Lost and found? What are you talking about? I don't get it!" Grace blinked her big, clueless, and adorable eyes, looking from Henry Tuoba to Evan Xiao.
Henry Tuoba smiled. "If you don't understand, just think about it slowly. Maybe one day it'll make sense."
"Huh?" Grace said.
Seeing her expression, Henry Tuoba couldn't help but smile again.
Minister Zhuo glanced at Henry Tuoba, sensing he wasn't joking, and cautiously asked, "Your Majesty, you said there's a member of the Divine Race hiding in the Blue Moon Kingdom—who is it? Would we recognize them?"
"I do know who it is," Henry Tuoba said. "But out of sincere respect and fear of incurring the Divine Lord's wrath, I won't reveal their identity, no matter what. I hope you understand."
"Wow... So there really is a Divine Race member in the Blue Moon Kingdom!" Minister Zhuo felt a rush of excitement.
If only he knew who it was—making friends with them would be amazing!
"Exactly," Henry Tuoba said. "I am willing to serve the Divine Lord with all my heart and sincerely pray for their protection. So, until I receive their instructions, I won't make a move against the Blue Moon Kingdom."
"Isn't Your Majesty overthinking this?" Evan Xiao said coolly. "I believe the Divine Race won't interfere with mortal affairs. If there really is a Divine Race member in the Blue Moon Kingdom, they're probably here for their own reasons. You don't need to worry so much."
Henry Tuoba's eyes sharpened. "General Evan Xiao makes a good point! Maybe I'm just overthinking it."
Evan Xiao dropped the subject and looked at Grace. "You and His Majesty are old acquaintances, so you probably have things to discuss. Minister Zhuo and I will excuse ourselves for now!"
Father-in-law again... Grace felt a little awkward.
But Minister Zhuo was already used to being called that, and simply nodded, "Alright."
Henry Tuoba's eyes darkened slightly, and he bowed his head. "Very well. I do have a few things I want to say to Grace alone."
