"You brat, are you siding with outsiders to mess with your martial aunt?" the woman said with a disgruntled snort.
"Martial Aunt, I'm really not lying to you. He truly is a ninth-tier Heavenly-Immortal," Lora Luo sighed helplessly.
"You think I'll believe that? I've already suppressed my cultivation to Profound-Immortal third tier, but I still can't match his Heavenly-Immortal ninth tier. Do you really think that's possible?" the woman said, unconvinced.
"Senior, I really didn't lie to you. If you don't believe me, how about I swear a Soul Oath? If I'm lying, my soul will be destroyed," Evan Yang said.
Seeing Evan Yang willing to swear on his soul—which was no joke, since breaking such an oath would truly obliterate one's soul—the woman still couldn't accept it. She snorted, "Even so, so what? We'll still follow the rules: thirty percent." "Martial Aunt, didn't you just finish a match?" Lora Luo didn't want her to use thirty percent, or else Evan would be in trouble.
"You brat, my word is law here. Otherwise, you can forget about passing," the woman said.
Evan Yang hadn't expected her to play dirty. If this kept up, it wouldn't work, so he spoke up, "Senior, how about this: since you insist on thirty percent, fine. But let's make an agreement—if I beat you again, you can't go back on your word and demand forty percent. What then?"
"What kind of person do you take me for?" the woman glared.
"But isn't that exactly what's happening now?" Evan Yang didn't say it outright, but hinted.
The woman blushed and said, "Fine, whatever, I'll swear a Soul Oath." With that, she swore: if she lost using thirty percent, she would let them pass, or else her soul would be destroyed.
Once everything was settled, Evan Yang spoke, "Alright then, let's continue."
Lora Luo was a bit worried; this undoubtedly put a lot of pressure on Evan Yang.
Evan Yang smiled, "It's fine. You all step back."
Hannah Nangong trusted Evan Yang completely, but Lora Luo was still anxious. She knew how formidable her martial aunt was—thirty percent meant at least first or second-tier Immortal-Lord. While comparable to Bald Lee, Bald Lee was newly advanced and inexperienced, but her martial aunt had been at the Emperor-Lord level for countless years.
After suppressing her cultivation to thirty percent, the woman smiled, "Kid, I want to see if you can keep getting stronger." But deep down, she was determined to regain her pride: "I'm definitely going to win back my face this time. Just wait, kid."
Then the battle between Evan Yang and the woman began. Evan used fire, while she wielded wood. Clusters of green gas appeared before her, and whenever Evan attacked with fire, she always managed to counter with the green gas.
Evan Yang was puzzled—what exactly were these green gases? But he quickly realized they were her attribute, and she could even conjure thick vines in front of him. Although these vines were roasted by Evan's flames, they didn't immediately burn up. The woman sneered, "This is my special shield. Even though I'm only using thirty percent of my power, it's more than enough to deal with your flames."
"Is that so? Then let's see whether my fire is stronger or your shield is tougher." Evan Yang snorted, then unleashed a violent burst of flames, slowly burning the vines away. The woman was shocked, "Damn, how is this possible?"
"I told you, anything is possible. Even if your shield is strong, my flames aren't weak. Take this!" Evan Yang gathered even more fire—stronger than before—and attacked directly.
The woman had Emperor-Lord strength and far more experience. Sensing things weren't right, she dodged instantly and waved her hand, causing vines to appear all around Evan. Before his flames could attack, the vines had already wrapped him up.
"Kid, do you get it now? Even if your strength matches an Immortal-Lord, so what? These vines are enough to keep you in check," the woman said with a smile.
"Is that so? I don't believe it," Evan Yang said, struggling inside.
Outside, the woman laughed, "Go ahead and struggle—the more you fight, the more it hurts." With that, the vines tightened even further around Evan.
Evan Yang knew that if this kept up, he'd definitely be squeezed to death, so he started thinking of a way out.
Lora Luo, Hannah Nangong, and Chase Chu were all shocked. Watching the vines shrink, nearly down to two-thirds their original size, Lora spoke up, "Martial Aunt, please stop."
"You brat, this is giving him a chance. If he can beat me, of course I'll let him pass. If not, there's nothing I can do," the woman said with a smile, finally feeling satisfied that things were resolved.
"Martial Aunt," Lora Luo pleaded, knowing that if this kept up, Evan Yang would definitely die.
But no matter how Lora Luo begged, the woman remained unmoved. Meanwhile, inside the cocoon, Evan Yang wore a strange smile. His Heaven-Cold Seed was absorbing the essence from the vines, turning them into waste. The woman, having just finished talking to Lora, was oblivious to the change inside and still feeling proud.
Just as she was feeling triumphant, Evan Yang's ghostly voice came from behind her, and he landed a punch.
The woman never expected Evan Yang to escape, let alone attack her. Caught completely off guard, she was injured and furious, feeling tricked again. Her aura surged.
"Senior, you lost—you have to admit defeat. If you keep going like this, you'll be breaking your oath," Evan Yang said as her aura soared to Emperor-Lord level.
The woman was furious at Evan Yang's words, but since she'd sworn earlier, she could only snort coldly, "Kid, consider yourself lucky."
"Martial Aunt, so we can go in now?" Lora Luo asked excitedly.
"Traitor," the woman snorted, then left angrily.
Lora Luo was overjoyed. "Let's go, my martial aunt has let us through."
Evan Yang withdrew his aura, muttering to himself, "She's really strong—Emperor-Lord level."
Meanwhile, Lora Luo excitedly led Evan Yang and the others up the mountain.
In a corner, the woman who had just left muttered, "That kid really isn't simple. That punch was stronger than a Profound-Immortal. I've really been tricked."

Looking at the injury on her hand, the woman sighed, then tidied herself up and went up the mountain as well, wanting to see what they were here for.
On the mountain, there was a temple. Outside, many disciples had gathered, and when Lora Luo appeared, several called out, "Senior Sister!"
"Mm, where's Master?" Lora Luo asked.
"Master is in seclusion," one of the group replied.
Lora Luo nodded, then led Evan Yang and the others away.
The group muttered suspiciously, "Strange, why is Senior Sister bringing outsiders up the mountain? Did Martial Aunt not stop them?"
As they were whispering, their martial aunt arrived—the same woman from before. She said, "Why aren't you all getting back to work?" "Yes, Martial Aunt." Seeing her, they were startled and hurried off.
"My glorious reputation is ruined, damn it," the woman grumbled. She'd been guarding against outsiders for years, and now not only had outsiders entered, but they weren't even from Blue Robe Sect.
Lora Luo ignored all that and headed straight for a particular room. The door was closed; she knocked and called, "Master."
"Xiaotong is back?" A clear, youthful voice sounded from inside. Evan Yang immediately felt the speaker seemed very young, but since it was Lora's master, she shouldn't be that young. Yet when the door opened, she really did look young—and Evan felt a strange sense of familiarity, as if he'd seen her long ago.
"Master, I'm back!" Lora Luo said excitedly upon seeing her.
"It's good you're back, it's good you're back. Who are these people?" Qingxia asked curiously.
"Master, they're my friends," Lora Luo replied.
"Oh? Your friends? You just went out and brought back so many people," Qingxia said, intrigued.
The more Evan Yang looked, the more familiar she seemed, so he couldn't help but ask, "Senior, have we met before?"
"Met before? Kid, you must be mistaken. I haven't left here in tens of thousands of years—how could we have met?" Qingxia laughed, finding Evan interesting.
Hearing 'tens of thousands of years,' Evan Yang was confused and could only awkwardly say, "Then I must be mistaken. Sorry."
"Don't just stand there, come in and sit," Qingxia said with a smile.
Evan Yang nodded, feeling the person before him was quite amiable and easy to talk to. He smiled, then led Hannah Nangong and Chase Chu inside.
There were a few seats inside, but they were on the floor. Evan Yang followed Qingxia's lead and sat down. After sitting, Lora Luo said, "Master."
"Why are you just sitting there? Come, help me get something to entertain your friends," Qingxia said, standing up with a smile.
Lora Luo nodded and followed Qingxia to the back hall. Before leaving, Qingxia smiled at Evan Yang and the others, "Please wait a moment, we'll be right back. Sorry for the wait."
"No need to be so polite, Senior," Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"It's nothing—guests are always welcome," Qingxia said, then led Lora Luo to the back hall. Evan Yang, curious, tried to use his Thousand-Mile Sound Talisman but found he couldn't hear anything; apparently, the area was soundproofed.
In the back hall, as Qingxia looked for something, she asked, "Go on, what is it?" "You can't hide anything from Master," Lora Luo laughed. "With your little tricks and that excited look, I knew right away," Qingxia said.
Lora Luo nodded, "That's right, Master. I'll tell you something in a bit, but don't get too excited."
"Oh? What could possibly make me that excited?" Qingxia asked, curious.
"I've found someone from the Three Attributes Heaven," Lora Luo said.
"What? Three Attributes Heaven? Really? Where? Take me there!" Qingxia was stunned and, sure enough, very excited.
Lora Luo grinned, "Heh, so far yet so close."
"You mean outside?" Qingxia asked, puzzled.
"That's right, just outside," Lora Luo replied with a smile.
"Tell me, what's going on? And what three attributes?" Qingxia urged, anxious.
"Fire, water, and earth," Lora Luo answered smoothly, having seen Evan Yang use those three attributes before.
"Water, fire, and earth? How is that possible? Water and fire are incompatible—how could anyone have both?" Qingxia said, puzzled.
