At the school gate.
Andrew Han, dressed in the blue-and-white school uniform, looked around.
He had just walked out of the Fitness Activities Building. With the Martial Arts Student ID in his pocket, he easily passed the security guard at the entrance.
According to the information I found at home, Riverdale Park has a memorial monument... But that's not the key factor, Andrew thought to himself. The most important thing is the ancient trees!
Riverdale Park is home to several ancient trees!
Andrew's eyes flashed with excitement.
He had researched thoroughly online... Riverdale Park was vast, located at the junction of two rivers. It was an open public park that combined ecological, recreational, and practical functions—in other words, admission was free.
Anyone could enter or leave the park, even homeless people could rest inside.
Andrew walked to the bus stop at the school gate, waiting for the bus while pondering, "I went there several times in my previous life. Although my memories are vague, I can still easily find the monument and the area with those ancient trees."
Lost in thought.
He couldn't help but feel a surge of joy. If his guess was correct... it meant that a vast world was slowly unfolding before him. He didn't need to deliberately seek out historical relics, nor spend any money.
Every city had countless streams of Graywhite Aura waiting for him to absorb.
......
Inside Riverdale Park.
Andrew took Bus 89, rode for nine stops, and finally arrived.
He walked quickly while looking around. "If my memory serves me right, the monument is straight ahead from the main entrance... There it is! That's the monument!"
He felt a quiet surge of happiness.
Ahead stood an ancient stone monument, its surface clearly worn by the passage of time, smoothing out what were once sharp edges.
Tap, tap.
Andrew strode up to the monument, putting on a look of awe and curiosity as he gently pressed his right palm against it.
