Lynn Ning’s Troubles

1/11/2026

Right now, Snow Yue was all tangled up inside. She knew if she missed this chance, she might never get another—but she was scared of dragging innocent Emily Fu into trouble.

"Snow, what's wrong?"

Emily Fu noticed Snow Yue acting weird and asked, "Should I go ask Master for help instead?"

"Don't go!"

Snow Yue shook her head and said, "Junior Sister, I need a favor."

"No problem! If I can do it, I'll help with ten things!" Emily Fu agreed right away, which made Snow Yue feel extra grateful. "Wait, don't promise just yet. If Master finds out, you'll definitely get punished. Are you still willing to help me?"

Emily Fu hesitated. "I'm really scared of being punished by Master, but if I can help you, I'm not afraid."

"Thank you, Junior Sister." Snow Yue was even more moved.

Then she took out a jade pendant and handed it to Emily Fu, her expression serious. "Junior Sister, do whatever it takes to get this jade pendant to Leon Huang, Pristine Way's Sect Master."

"Whoa!" Emily Fu's eyes lit up. "Senior Sister, is this Leon Huang—the one who set up that giant formation in Blood River City and wiped out over two hundred thousand Devils?"

"That's him." Snow Yue nodded, then got serious. "You have to remember—no one else can know about this, okay?"

Half an hour later, Emily Fu hurried down from Hundred Blades Peak, glancing warily around. Not seeing Faye Mei anywhere, she breathed a big sigh of relief. She had no idea Faye Mei was watching her every move.

Watching Emily Fu leave, Faye Mei stepped out of the shadows and muttered bitterly, "Leon Huang, you better not disappoint me. When you show up at Heavenly Melody Sect, everything that happened on the Blood River Battlefield—I’ll pay you back ten times over. I’ve never been humiliated like that before. You’re the first, and you’ll be the last."

Pristine Way Sect.

Leon Huang noticed that Lynn Ning had been in a low mood the past couple of days—even her work had become careless and forgetful. He knew the reason: it must be because his upcoming marriage to Harriet Gu was affecting her.

So, when she came to deliver snacks, Leon Huang called her over to his side.

"Ling'er, if you have something on your mind, why not tell Brother Huang?"

"I don't have anything on my mind." Lynn Ning kept her head down, fiddling nervously with the hem of her clothes.

"Come on, you think I can't tell? I can see your worries written all over your face, so why won't you tell me the truth?" Leon Huang said gently.

"I'm really not hiding anything," Lynn Ning insisted, still refusing to open up.

"If you still won't tell the truth, don't blame Brother Huang for using some family discipline on you." Leon Huang's tone became a bit more playful.

"But I really don't have anything, I swear!" Lynn Ning protested.

Suddenly, Leon Huang put on a fierce expression. "Well, you little rascal! If you won't tell the truth, then Brother Huang will have to use some discipline!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Leon Huang grabbed Lynn Ning, pulled her onto his lap, flipped her soft body over, and gave her a playful smack on the butt.

"Hmm, not bad—nice and springy," Leon Huang thought to himself.

Lynn Ning was stunned by the smack. A wave of intense shyness rushed through her, and her pretty face instantly flushed bright red. Brother Huang actually hit her there—how embarrassing!

"Still not going to talk, huh?"

Leon Huang gave her another playful smack.

"Wuwu, Brother Huang, stop! I'll tell you everything!" Lynn Ning finally came to her senses and pleaded softly.

"Too late!"

Leon Huang grinned mischievously and gave Lynn Ning two more playful smacks on the butt.

He thought Lynn Ning would beg for mercy, but after two more smacks, Leon Huang realized the girl had gone completely quiet.

"Did I make her angry?"

Leon Huang quickly turned her over, only to find Lynn Ning looking dazed, her eyes half-closed and misty, her pretty face flushed like a ripe red apple—so tempting he almost wanted to take a bite.

Seeing her like that, Leon Huang thought to himself, No way, does Lynn Ning actually have a thing for this kind of punishment?

Even with that suspicion, Leon Huang didn't try to test it further. Instead, he shook Lynn Ning gently. "Hey, you okay?"

"Mm... I'm fine."

Looking at Brother Huang's caring face, Lynn Ning felt sweet inside, but mostly embarrassed—because just now, when Brother Huang's hand landed on her little butt, she almost felt like she was going to pee herself. She had to hold it in with all her might, terrified she'd embarrass herself in front of him.

"As long as you're okay. Now, will you finally tell Brother Huang what's on your mind?" Leon Huang asked gently.

Mentioning it again, Lynn Ning's expression dimmed. "Honestly, I'm just worried that after you marry Sister Harriet, you won't want me anymore."

"Silly girl, how could Brother Huang ever not want you!"

Leon Huang affectionately tapped Lynn Ning's nose, then kissed her softly on the forehead. "Brother Huang promises you—so long as you stay by my side, I'll never leave you."

Hearing Leon Huang's promise, Lynn Ning's worries melted away. She smiled sweetly, "Brother Huang, you're so good to me."

With Lynn Ning's worries resolved, Leon Huang turned his attention back to the South Domain Martial Alliance. The Alliance Chamber of Commerce was growing steadily—now, their pill shops had spread across much of the South Domain.

Not only did they collect large amounts of spirit herbs and silver, but their reputation was growing too.

In the past, it was nearly impossible for cultivators to get their hands on a Second-Grade Advancement Pill, so for rogue cultivators, obtaining one was harder than reaching the heavens.

But now that the Alliance Chamber of Commerce was selling these pills, naturally, they won the support of all the rogue cultivators.

As the saying goes, you have to be strong to forge iron.

With the Alliance Chamber of Commerce growing, the South Domain Martial Alliance needed more experts to protect it. So, Leon Huang planned to further increase the pill quota for each sect within the Alliance.

As for the Pristine Way Sect...

Leon Huang wasn't stingy with pills or resources—after all, he'd cleaned out the treasure vaults of two Strongarm Bull Devil princes.

Time flew by, and the wedding date between Leon Huang and Harriet Gu was drawing closer and closer.

Just then, a servant came to report that a young woman named Emily Fu was here to see him—she said she was from the Heavenly Melody Sect.

The Heavenly Melody Sect wasn't in the Southern Region, but in the Eastern Region—a martial sect whose overall strength was far greater than the Rift-Heaven Sword Sect. Rumor had it they had five Martial Saints in their ranks.

As soon as Leon Huang heard she was from the Heavenly Melody Sect, he had a good idea why she was here.

"You're Leon Huang?"

Emily Fu looked Leon Huang up and down with curiosity.

"That's right, I am. What can I do for you, Miss Fu?" Leon Huang said with a smile.

"This is something my Senior Sister Snow Yue asked me to give you." Emily Fu took out the jade pendant and handed it to Leon Huang.

Leon Huang let out a soft sigh. "Tell me about your Senior Sister's situation."
