Hunt

Inside the canyon.

Watching nearly a hundred masked bandits charge at Ian, Toren Tong quickly shouted, "Quick, everyone, go help Brother Ian!"

As the saying goes, two fists can't beat four hands. In Toren Tong's view, no matter how strong Ian was, there was no way he could handle nearly a hundred masked bandits—not with five of them at late Human Immortal stage.

"Toren, you all just protect my family—leave these losers to me!"

Seeing this, Ian called out to them, then charged straight toward the masked bandits. Toren Tong and Ingrid Cui were both stunned, secretly thinking, Brother Ian really has guts.

But in the next moment, their expressions froze.

There's a saying about a tiger among sheep—right now, Ian was that ferocious tiger. The Azure Flood-Dragon Sword in his hand flashed with deadly sword light; in just a few breaths, he pierced right through the masked bandits, sending eighteen of them to their graves.

"Come on, then!"

With a light shout, Ian counterattacked again.

He cut through them like chopping vegetables—none of the masked bandits could withstand even a single exchange. In just a few breaths, another dozen or so bandits fell to his sword.

The masked bandit leader, who had been waiting for the right moment to strike, broke out in a cold sweat at this scene. He knew he couldn't wait any longer—if he let Ian kill all his men, he'd lose his only chance.

So, he suddenly swung his long saber, merging man and blade into one, and unleashed a chilling saber light more than ten feet long, slashing fiercely at Ian's back.

"I've been waiting for you!"

Boom!

The saber light missed, carving a trench over ten meters long into the ground. At the same time, the bandit leader heard a mocking voice at his ear, and for a moment, he was scared out of his wits and tried to pull his saber back to defend.

Too bad—Ian's sword was even faster.

Squelch!

In a flash of sword light, a perfectly good head suddenly went flying.

Seeing this, Toren Tong and the others couldn't help but stare wide-eyed.

Toren Tong even muttered to himself, "Damn, he took down a late Human Immortal with an immortal body in one sword strike... Brother Ian's strength...?"

"Run for it!"

Seeing their leader killed, the remaining dozens of masked bandits were scared out of their wits and scattered in all directions.

With a flicker of movement, Ian chased down more than ten bandits and killed them, but plenty still managed to escape. Honestly, with his strength, not to mention a bunch of Human Immortals—even Earth Immortals wouldn't be able to get away from him.

He purposely let these masked bandits go so they could spread the word, or lure more bandits to come for revenge. That way, he could rack up even more Prestige.

After the battle, they cleaned up the battlefield and looted over ten thousand immortal stones from the bandits. The masked bandit leader had the most—more than six thousand immortal stones.

Besides that, there were some other items worth about two thousand immortal stones.

"Brother Toren, you guys take these immortal stones and split them up!"

Ian took out half the immortal stones and put them into his Storage Ring, then handed them to Toren Tong.

"No way, Brother Ian! You killed all these bandits—we don't deserve the spoils!" Toren Tong refused.

"What, you don't see me as one of your own?" Ian deliberately put on a stern face.
