"Go see the child!" Lily Bai tossed out the command.

......

The two of them went together to Brandon Xiao's palace.

The First Heir-Consort received them.

"Sister-in-law, where's my big brother?" Lily Bai asked.

"Sorry, he's been in closed-door cultivation lately," the First Heir-Consort said apologetically. "I haven't seen him for quite some time either."

Lily Bai smiled. "What about Eve and Xavier Xiao? Are they around?"

"I'm not quite sure, they live in the west wing," said the First Heir-Consort. "Do you wish to summon them, Your Highnesses? I can have someone call them."

"No need for now!" Sean Shaw said. "Sister-in-law, what do you think of Xavier Xiao as a child?"

"Xavier Xiao..." The First Heir-Consort replied, "He's always been sensible and lovable since he was little."

"What does he like to play with?"

"Play..." The First Heir-Consort thought for a moment, but couldn't come up with anything. "He seems... ever since he was little, he's especially loved studying and cultivating. I've never seen him play."

Lily Bai: "Then, does he have any favorite foods?"

"Hmm... He likes a kind of fish jerky—Heavenly Pool Snow-Fish Jerky," the First Heir-Consort said. "A relative of mine once sent me a packet, and he really liked it. I've asked my relative to send more ever since, and every time it arrives, he eats it all."

"Does he have any special hobbies? Anything at all. Could you tell us, please, Sister-in-law?"

The First Heir-Consort looked at them, puzzled. "Why are you asking all this?"

Lily Bai: "Sister-in-law, this is really important, and it concerns you and my brother directly. Please tell us?"

"Other than that... I really don't know much. But he loves drawing Talismans. Whenever he sees His Highness, most of the time he clings to him to learn how to draw Dragon Talismans," said the First Heir-Consort.

Lily Bai nodded. "Sister-in-law, let me ask one more thing. I hope you don't mind."

"Go ahead."

"I've heard that Consort Rouxi looks a lot like His Highness's first love. How is their relationship?"

The First Heir-Consort replied, "From what I see, it's pretty ordinary. He clearly distinguishes between me and her—he gives me everything I'm due, and maybe feels a bit nostalgic for her, but never crosses the line between wife and consort."

Lily Bai nodded and glanced at Sean Shaw, as if asking if he had anything to add.

Sean Shaw shook his head.

So, the two of them took their leave from the First Heir-Consort.

Once they reached a secluded spot, Sean Shaw turned invisible and slipped back to cast a spell on the First Heir-Consort.

The First Heir-Consort looked a bit dazed.

"What spell did you use on her?" Lily Bai asked curiously.

"Memory Erasure."

"Memory Erasure? You can do that kind of spell?" Lily Bai asked in horror.

"After I ascended to Crown Prince, I found it in a jade slip left behind by Emperor Evan Xiao. It's very handy," Sean Shaw grinned.

"Have you ever used that spell on me?" Lily Bai's eyes widened.

"I have."

"What memories did you erase?"

"For example... things that would make you angry."

"Angry? Why would I get angry?"

"You'll find out tonight."

"Tell me now! Why do I have to wait until tonight?"

"I'm busy right now!" Sean Shaw pulled her along. The two of them turned invisible and slipped into the west wing of His Highness's palace together.

Eve and Xavier Xiao lived here.

After all, this was the First Prince's private quarters, and it was their first time visiting the west wing.

Inside, everything was arranged neat and fresh, with an atmosphere that felt very comfortable.
