Who Is Chloe Zhu

Grace didn’t follow after them. Instead, she returned to the first floor and added two pieces of Mystic Spirit Jade into the Illusory Array.

The remaining Spirit Jade should last another three or four months.

But most of what’s left is Mystic Spirit Jade.

However, it looks like Mystic Spirit Jade can’t help Beanie grow anymore—it only keeps it alive.

Ever since the last Celestial Spirit Jade ran out, Beanie has barely grown at all...

Thinking about Beanie made Grace feel even heavier inside.

This time, I have to get first place.

Even if the fourth floor doesn’t have the Ten Wilds Spiritual Herb Manual, at least I’ll get that East Wilds Jade Map—then I can finally feed Beanie...

Classes went on until evening. Grace made sure to walk with Connie Luo, Lefty Juan, and Lee Gu, refusing to be alone.

This was Byron White’s turf, and he was probably Bianca Whiteshire’s real brother.

She had to stay alert, just in case someone tried to mess with her.

Dinner was served in a communal cafeteria.

The food was pretty good—balanced with both meat and veggies, and looked, smelled, and tasted great.

Grace took out her Soulveil Bamboo chopsticks to test for poison. Only when she was sure it was safe did she start eating.

Suddenly, a guy dressed like a chef walked in, carrying a tray and shouted, "Who’s Chloe Zhu?"

Since Byron White had called her out today, everyone knew who she was.

So, as soon as he finished speaking, a dozen fingers pointed right at her.

The chef had a scar on his face and looked pretty fierce.

But when he walked up to Grace, he gave her a friendly smile.

His smile gave Grace the chills. She asked, "I’m Chloe Zhu. What do you need?"

"This is a special Spirit Cuisine prepared just for you. It’ll help restore your spiritual energy," the chef said, placing the dish in front of her.

It was an Earthbear paw, made into a dish called Pearl of the Palm—crystal-clear, tender, and mouthwatering. The aroma wafted out, making everyone’s eyes go green with envy and their mouths water.

Grace asked, puzzled, "Is it just for me?"

"That’s right! It’s made especially for you!" the chef replied.

"Who asked for it to be made just for me? Why am I getting this special treatment?"

"I don’t know! I just cook and deliver the Spirit Cuisine. Please enjoy!" With that, the chef left.

Grace stared at the Earthbear paw, totally baffled.

"Chloe Zhu, why are you the only one who gets Spirit Cuisine?" came a not-so-friendly voice.

Grace turned and saw a young woman named Ruby Ji.

She was from the Azure Dragon Branch, and among all the trainees here—except for Grace and Felix Xi—she was the highest-ranked Spiritual Alchemist.

She was Level Eight.

"So, if only Level Nine Spiritual Alchemists get Spirit Cuisine, then why doesn’t Felix Xi have any? Why is it just you?"

Grace replied, "I honestly have no idea."

"You don’t know?" Ruby Ji narrowed her eyes and sneered, "Hmph! Who’d believe that?"

Grace glanced at her and decided it was better to avoid trouble. "However it got here, this dish is pretty big and smells amazing. Let’s all have a taste!"

Earthbear is a fierce and rare spirit beast, so not many people have tried this Spirit Cuisine before.

"Wow, really? You’re sharing with everyone?" asked a girl named Connie Luo.

She sounded totally hungry.

Grace nodded. "Let’s all have a taste!"

"You’re so generous, Grace!" Connie Luo said happily.
