Three Moons

As Zane Wang was speaking, his tone suddenly paused—he saw Evan Lin and Bella Xiao walking toward them, and immediately went up to greet them.

"Master Lin!"

Zane Wang looked at Evan Lin with utmost respect, his admiration in plain sight.

"We meet again. Back at Thornridge Mountain, I really have to thank you for saving our lives. If it weren't for you, we probably wouldn't have made it out alive."

Claire Liang also stepped forward, looking at Evan Lin, her expression completely sincere.

As members of the grave-keeper families, they understood just how dangerous Thornridge Mountain really was.

Especially after returning safely and studying things closely, they realized Thornridge Mountain was basically a death trap.

If not for Evan Lin's appearance, their lives would probably have been lost there long ago.

"It was just a small effort—not worth mentioning."

Evan Lin nodded to them.

At this moment, the others kept glancing at Evan Lin from time to time, their eyes full of surprise and suspicion.

"I've heard about Master Lin from Seacrest's reputation for a long time. It's my first time meeting you today—what an honor."

A white-robed old man stepped forward, looking at Evan Lin. His face showed surprise, but even more arrogance: "I'm the patriarch of the Wang Grave-Keeper Family. This time, as we explore the Grand Tomb, I hope Master Lin won't wander around recklessly."

"There are all sorts of strange mysteries in this tomb. It's not just about having strength—you can't just do whatever you want here."

"Especially the Immortal Lady inside the tomb—her power is unfathomable, far beyond what mortals can compare to."

The old man's words were all warnings directed at Evan Lin.

Though it sounded like advice, there was a clear warning behind it.

Even the strongest in the world might not be strong inside the tomb!

"The only reason you're allowed in is because of Bella Xiao. If you go inside, don't say or do anything reckless. If you cause trouble, nobody will clean up your mess!"

Another shorter, middle-aged man chimed in, repeatedly warning him as well.

The way they looked at Evan Lin was mostly unfriendly.

If it weren't for Bella Xiao insisting on inviting Evan Lin, they honestly wouldn't want this 'Master Lin from Seacrest' tagging along into the tomb.

"Alright, there's still some time before the Grand Tomb opens. Everyone, find a place to rest and conserve your energy."

With a wave of his hand, the others immediately moved aside to rest up.

"The elders at home are pretty strict about who gets to enter the tomb. According to ancestral rules, outsiders aren't supposed to be brought in."

Leo Liu walked over to Evan Lin and spoke quietly: "Please don't take offense, and don't let it bother you."

"The older generation has suffered too much from this, so they're extra cautious."

"It's fine. They've got their rules—nothing wrong with that."

Evan Lin walked to the side and sat cross-legged.

Zane Wang and the others gathered near Evan Lin, settling down to rest as well.

Bella Xiao leaned against a stone, watching Evan Lin. Her gaze flickered, lost in thought about something unknown.

They waited until late at night, past eleven o'clock.

Once the sky was fully dark.

Only then did the others start moving.

Evan Lin opened his eyes and glanced up at the sky.

It was a night of the full moon.

A bright, round moon hung high above, surrounded by the sound of wind rustling through the trees.

The whole place felt eerily chilling.

"The Grand Tomb's about to open. Let's go."

Bella Xiao called out to Evan Lin beside her.

The group numbered just over ten people in total.

Everyone walked along a path for more than ten minutes, finally stopping at the edge of a cliff.

Beyond the cliff lay a boundless sea.

"Is there really a Grand Tomb here?"

Evan Lin looked around. There was no sign of some massive tomb fused with the mountain, and the area ahead was wide open, hardly the sort of place to hide a Grand Tomb.

"This is the Immortal Lady's Grand Tomb. How could it possibly be like an ordinary grave, just sitting out in the open for everyone to see?"

The Wang family patriarch shook his head, clearly unimpressed by Evan Lin's question.

"This tomb is a secret passed down through generations of the grave-keeper families. When the full moon stands overhead and its light merges with the sea, creating three moons in the world, then, using the hereditary key, we can open the gate to the Immortal Lady's tomb."

Bella Xiao quietly explained this to Evan Lin.

At that moment, Zane Wang, Claire Liang, Leo Liu, and the others all stood beside their family elders, staring intently at the sea before them.
