Reid Yale, Can You Be Any More Miserable
Using the Menagerie incident to stall Prince Terrence Valen of Lyndaria and Adrian Dongling for a day was enough. Once they leave, everything will be set in stone.
The Lyndarian Crown Prince will appear at the Eastlyn–Lyndaria border in perfect health, escorting Princess Yara to Eastlyn for her grand wedding—openly and with great fanfare.

Reid was too busy gloating to notice that Nolan showed no hint of worry or unease when he spoke.
“Thank you for your concern, Young City Lord. Since I dared to act, I have the means to end it. At least I won’t be like you—hurting others and yourself.” Nolan’s words weren’t mocking, just blunt truth, but that made them sting even more.
Anyone who didn’t know better might think Nolan was just bluffing, but Serena Feng understood—he had everything under control. This man never missed an opportunity and excelled at using sudden events to catch his enemies off guard.
