Ian Song withdrew his hand from Faye Xiao’s neck and smiled. "I’m Ian Song. I don’t belong to any sect—I only came to the Dualis Order to save someone."

Although Ian had released her, Faye Xiao didn’t dare move. She just looked at him pitifully, her eyes full of silent pleading.

"Enough, step aside!"

Ian caught the message in her eyes and waved her off.

Thank you!

Faye Xiao whispered her thanks and floated away. She knew that if a real fight broke out, she’d probably get caught in the crossfire.

"So it’s Brother Song!"

Hearing Ian was unaffiliated, Ross Luo’s smile widened. "You barged into my Dualis Order, but you didn’t kill anyone. As long as you swear on Heavenly Tribulation and join us—never betray the sect—I’ll wipe the slate clean."

A young Out-of-Body expert like this would be a waste to kill. If he joined, the Dualis Order would get a lot stronger. And once he was in, Ross could do whatever he wanted with him.

"Sorry, I’m not planning to join any sect right now," Ian replied, turning him down flat.

"Brother Song, why not think it over a bit more?"

Ross Luo’s voice dropped, carrying a hint of threat.

"No matter how much I think about it, my answer won’t change." Ian shook his head, looking absolutely determined.

"You really won’t reconsider?"

Suddenly, Ross Luo stepped into the air, unleashing his full late Out-of-Body realm aura. The air around Ian thickened, and Wendy Lin, with her weaker cultivation, couldn’t help but show a pained expression.

"Hmph!"

Ian let out a cold snort. Instantly, the thick air returned to normal.

"Fine, so you’d rather drink the penalty wine than the courtesy wine. Don’t blame me for being rude!" Ross Luo’s eyes flashed coldly as he sent a palm strike toward Ian.

Boom!

The air compressed under the force, making the sky darken. A swirling black giant palm descended with crushing power, and with a thunderous crash, the house beneath Ian collapsed, sending Wendy and the others scrambling in panic.
