Golden Immortal Power Cannot Prevail

1/5/2026

"Fine, let me go first and I'll let you leave!" Lady Miranda gritted her teeth and spoke up immediately.

Ryan Ling smiled faintly, then slowly released Lady Miranda. But the instant he let go, Lady Miranda suddenly darted back, whipped out a multicolored conch from her bosom, and blew into it. Instantly, a surge of Golden Immortal power erupted—a force so strong it was easily a million times greater than before. The whole city trembled around Ryan, and that power instantly enveloped him, almost tearing him to shreds!

The scene was absolutely jaw-dropping. It looked like all the advantage Ryan had just gained was crumbling to dust in an instant. After all, this was Golden Immortal power—way beyond any ordinary trick. In the blink of an eye, Ryan was already showing signs that he couldn’t withstand it!

"Heh, kid, your tricks are decent, but your brain's not up to par. There’s no way I’m letting you go today—just give up your life already!" Lady Miranda burst out laughing, the Golden Immortal power in her hands growing even stronger, completely surrounding Ryan. That energy was like a swarm of knives, ready to slice him to pieces.

Seeing this, all the experts around the City Lord’s Mansion couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. That conch was Lady Miranda’s ultimate killer weapon, packed with terrifying Golden Immortal power—basically endless. Today, no ordinary person could possibly resist it. As long as she got the chance to use it, her target was as good as dead!

"Well, that’s it then. The kid was just too careless. He’d already won but got cocky!"

"Exactly! He could’ve just finished Lady Miranda off with that Profound Immortal peak power, but he didn’t—and missed his best shot. Letting her use the Golden Immortal Conch? That’s a guaranteed loss!"

"Still, the kid’s pretty damn impressive to last this long. Definitely a big deal!"

......

Right now, everyone was chattering about Ryan Ling’s moves—clearly a bit regretful. After all, skills like his were rare. Maybe not legendary, but definitely earth-shaking. If he’d pushed just a little harder, he might’ve taken control of all of Stan City.

But just when everyone was convinced Ryan Ling couldn’t possibly withstand the Golden Immortal Conch, suddenly he started laughing—full of contempt, like nothing here even mattered. Even the Golden Immortal power in front of him? He acted like it was nothing special!

"This bastard is still acting cocky with me!" Lady Miranda was practically grinding her teeth to dust when she heard that laugh. She blew the Golden Immortal Conch with all her might—the sound was earth-shattering. Around Ryan, more than a dozen towering demonic giant phantoms appeared, each one baring its fangs and claws, looking like they were about to eat him alive!

This wasn’t just ordinary Golden Immortal power—she’d used Golden Immortal aura to form a massive killing formation. It was easily ten thousand times more lethal than before! The demonic giants raised their huge hammers and smashed down on Ryan. The whole area shook with thunderous crashes, and it looked like Ryan’s body was pulverized in an instant.

But unbelievably, those insanely powerful blows didn’t seem to hurt Ryan at all. After all that smashing, he was still perfectly fine—inside and out, not a scratch! In fact, his body was glowing with golden light, and he actually seemed even stronger after the beating, looking downright majestic and divine!

"How is this possible? Th-this..." Lady Miranda was totally stunned, on the verge of coughing up blood. It was unimaginable—below the Golden Immortal Realm, no cultivator should be able to survive the Golden Immortal Conch’s attack!

"Your tricks are way too weak for me!" Ryan watched calmly, totally unfazed. Right now, his strength was nothing like a regular Profound Immortal. Even when he’d just reached Profound Immortal initial stage, he already had the power—and the confidence—to fight a Golden Immortal. His Profound Immortal cultivation wasn’t ordinary at all. And now that he’d hit Profound Immortal peak, his skills were on a whole different level. Even if a real Golden Immortal showed up, he’d have the guts to go toe-to-toe!

"What did you just say?" Lady Miranda was even more furious, practically hopping mad. It was the ultimate insult. She blew the Golden Immortal Conch with everything she had, but even if she burst the conch, it couldn’t budge Ryan at all. Right now, Ryan was like an immovable true god—nothing around him had any effect!

"Break!" Ryan shot into the air, and all the Golden Immortal power instantly bounced away. Everyone—including Lady Miranda—was flung aside in an instant. And Lady Miranda? Ryan had her back in his grip again!

"So? Still wanna fight me now?" Ryan looked at the trembling Lady Miranda and spoke coolly.

Lady Miranda was obviously terrified, shaking all over as she stared at Ryan in shock—clearly begging him not to kill her. All the City Lord’s Mansion experts around them had already dropped to their knees, begging Ryan to spare their lives too.

"Forget it. I’m in a good mood today, so I won’t kill you. But this conch of yours is pretty interesting—I'll take it as a souvenir!" Ryan Ling grinned and let Lady Miranda go again. He knew perfectly well that even if all these demons teamed up, they weren’t his match. If they had Golden Immortal power, it’d just be more training for him!

"You’re really going to let me go?" Lady Miranda couldn’t believe her ears when she heard Ryan say he’d spare her. She stared at him in shock, finally realizing he was something else entirely.

"That’s right. Hand over the conch!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—he pocketed the Golden Immortal Conch, gave Lady Miranda’s cheek a casual pat, and vanished in a gust of wind.

Lady Miranda looked like she’d just survived a nightmare—she fainted on the spot. The surrounding experts rushed to catch her, all of them gasping in disbelief that they were still alive.

Of course, Ryan honestly never planned to kill these guys. After all, he’d gotten his finger fragment from Lady Miranda—if not for their indirect help, he couldn’t have pulled it off!

Plus, he was really pressed for time—no way he could waste it tangling with these demons. The three-day deadline was almost up; he had to hurry back and handle his real business!

"Ryan, you did great—you’ve finally finished your Demonic World mission. I believe you’ve got the strength to handle the crisis now. Return to your body immediately!" Just as Ryan was leaving Stan City, the top Immortal-World Overlord spoke up. Clearly, he’d been watching Ryan the whole time, but never showed himself.

"Send me back now! I’m going to settle things with Drake Flyon once and for all!" Ryan gritted his teeth. His strength was on a whole new level now—Profound Immortal peak. Even if a true Golden Immortal showed up, they might not be his match. So he could head back to the Immortal Domain World with zero fear!

"Don’t worry, I’ll send you back right now. The wheel of fate is turning—it’s finally my turn to get justice!" The Overlord gritted his teeth too; he’d waited ages for this. He hadn’t helped Ryan before, because Ryan needed to rise on his own. Only true strength can sweep everything aside—if you always rely on others, you’ll never grow up!

And at that moment, Ryan felt his body shoot out of the Demonic World, leaving that terrifying time-space behind and speeding back to the Immortal Domain World. Everything there was just as he’d left it—Drake Flyon and Drake Long were still eyeing Lady Melody, ready to strike, while Ryan himself was pinned underfoot, totally powerless to fight back…
