Helen Jiang's Madness

1/4/2026

Cecilia Gu was stunned.

Henry Shaw looked at Cecilia Gu and said calmly, "It was Helen Jiang."

"What did you say?!" Cecilia Gu instantly lost her cool and shouted.

After blurting that out, Cecilia Gu clapped her hand over her mouth.

Wendy nodded and said, "My cousin Henry and I just went out to stop Helen Jiang from doing something foolish."

Cecilia Gu turned to Wendy, disbelief in her eyes. "What are you talking about?"

A suspicious flush crept across Wendy's cheeks.

She hadn't expected to barge in and see such a... wild and shocking scene.

At that moment, Eric Jiang slowly regained consciousness.

He opened his eyes and immediately saw Cecilia Gu.

Eric Jiang's eyes dimmed slightly. He thanked the doctor, "Thank you so much for today."

The doctor saw that Eric Jiang had woken up, slowly withdrew the needle, took his temperature again, and said, "If you feel any discomfort, let me know anytime."

Eric Jiang nodded. The doctor packed up his case and turned to leave.

It's best not to get involved in the masters' affairs.

Henry Shaw pulled Wendy out as well. Whatever needs to be said, let them sort it out themselves!

Now, only Cecilia Gu and Eric Jiang were left in the room.

Cecilia Gu glanced awkwardly at Eric Jiang, who was lying flat in front of her, unsure how to start the conversation.

"I'm really sorry about earlier. I couldn't control my body," Eric Jiang said apologetically to Cecilia Gu. "Could you cover me with the blanket? I have no strength left at all."

Cecilia Gu snapped back to her senses, hurried over, picked up a blanket, and gently covered Eric Jiang.

Eric Jiang really had a great physique.

He had the muscles, he had the definition.

Eric Jiang actually didn't mind showing off his body in front of Cecilia Gu—just not right now.

He was truly ashamed about what just happened.

"Sorry, when I was under the influence of the drug, the only person I could think of was you," Eric Jiang said with a bitter smile. "I can't let anyone outside see me in such a pathetic state."

Cecilia Gu nodded, pulled up a chair, and sat down in front of Eric Jiang. "I understand. So what exactly happened?"

A flash of pain crossed Eric Jiang's eyes as he spoke softly, "It's all my fault."

Cecilia Gu sighed deeply. "If you don't want to talk about it, I won't ask."

Eric Jiang immediately shook his head. "No! It's not that I don't want to say it, it's just... this is really embarrassing!"

Cecilia Gu didn't say a word, just looked at Eric Jiang.

"You probably wouldn't expect this, but Helen... she has feelings for me," Eric Jiang said, knowing how shameful the topic was, but still forced himself to say it.

The moment his mind was overtaken, he shoved Helen Jiang away and stumbled into Cecilia Gu's room.

Maybe deep down, Cecilia was the only one he truly trusted.

Anyone else might use his being drugged as leverage, maybe even threaten or blackmail him.

But Cecilia Gu wouldn't.

He trusted Cecilia Gu for reasons he couldn't explain.

Cecilia Gu was shaken by Eric Jiang's words. It took her a while before she finally said, "Huh?!"

Eric Jiang studied Cecilia Gu's reaction. Seeing her stunned and confused face, he couldn't help but frown and gave a bitter smile. "I only found out recently. Turns out, Helen targeted you because of me. Cici, I'm sorry. I dragged you into this."

Cecilia Gu was still reeling from Eric Jiang's revelation. After a long pause, she finally replied, "Good thing you came to me. Otherwise, the Jiang family's reputation would be ruined!"

The eldest Miss Jiang drugged the eldest Mr. Jiang!

The eldest Miss Jiang secretly loved her own brother and tried to force him!

If news like this got out, the Jiang family's reputation—and their stock—would be in serious danger!

Cecilia Gu suddenly forgave Eric Jiang for his earlier offense.

Given the situation, he only hugged her and did nothing else—he'd already reached his limit.

"So... how did it happen?" Cecilia Gu couldn't help but ask.

Eric Jiang sighed and recounted everything that had happened.

"After lunch, I went back to my room to rest. Around three o'clock, Helen knocked on my door, saying she had something to discuss. I didn't think much of it and let her in. Since I'd just woken up, I wasn't wearing much. Helen suddenly hugged me and said she wanted to give me her first time. Of course I refused—it's ridiculous. The Jiang family has always valued loyalty and devotion; once we've chosen someone, it's hard to change. I've always seen Helen as a sister. How could I do something so unforgivable?"

Cecilia Gu nodded.

"When I realized Helen had feelings for me, all I wanted was to escape. I never thought to actually solve the problem. My avoidance led to all this." Eric Jiang's voice was tinged with bitterness. "My mother found out, so she forced us to come to the Jiang Hot Springs Resort. First, to break Helen's obsession; second, to find her a suitable man to marry. I'm the Jiang family's only heir—my mother won't allow anything to happen to me."

Cecilia Gu nodded again.

"So, when we arrived this morning, there'd already been an argument at home. Mom was ruthless—she said if Helen couldn't pick a suitable man at the resort, she'd marry her off to anyone. Helen pretended to go along, but secretly prepared drugs, planning to make her move first and then confess to the family. I was careless and drank the water Helen gave me." Eric Jiang continued, "When I realized something was wrong, Helen was already standing naked in front of me, saying she'd never be with another man, that she only wanted to be with me."

"I felt the drug kicking in, and I couldn't think about anything else. I shoved her away and tried to run out. But Helen suddenly grabbed a knife and held it to her throat, saying if I left, she'd die right in front of me. I couldn't accept her, but I didn't want her to die either. The longer I hesitated, the faster the drug worked. Just when I was stuck, I saw your assistant passing by the door. I called out to her..."

Cecilia Gu's eyes flickered. No wonder Wendy wasn't in the room—so that's what happened.

"Helen never expected I'd call someone in. She rushed over, trying to force herself on me. Ridiculous, right? But at that moment, I had no strength left! With the last bit of willpower, I pushed her away and staggered into your room. Cici, I'm really sorry about earlier. I couldn't control my body..." Eric Jiang apologized again.

Cecilia Gu shook her head and said, "Let's not talk about that for now. What are you going to do about Helen Jiang? After what she did, I doubt the Jiang family will tolerate her! And don't think you can hide this from Aunt Jiang—it won't work! Remember, the Jiang Hot Springs Resort is her private property!"

Eric Jiang nodded gravely. "Yes, that's my worry too. Cici, do you have a better idea?"

Cecilia Gu shook her head. "Not for now. You rest up. I'm going out for a bit."

Cecilia Gu left the room and saw Henry Shaw and Wendy standing outside. She frowned and asked, "Did anyone else see what happened just now?"

Wendy shook her head. "No, after Mr. Jiang called me over, he ran out. Helen Jiang also took the drug, but her dose was much lower than his. Still, Cousin had it pretty rough!"

After saying that, Wendy glanced sympathetically at Henry Shaw.

A flash of anger appeared in Henry Shaw's eyes.

"No one saw Mr. Jiang, but plenty of people saw Helen Jiang clinging to my cousin. Since he arrived late and things got loud at the end, people noticed." Wendy added.

Cecilia Gu turned to Henry Shaw, her mouth slightly agape.

"Hmph." Henry Shaw's expression grew darker. "Disgusting."

Cecilia Gu couldn't help but laugh, teasing Henry Shaw on purpose: "Hey, don't say that! Helen Jiang is actually pretty good-looking."

Henry Shaw shot Cecilia Gu a look, then silently turned and walked away!

Wow, this assistant really has a temper!

Can't even take a joke?

Ignoring Henry Shaw, Cecilia Gu continued, "Who saw it all?"

Wendy thought for a moment and replied, "Three or four people saw it: the daughter of a city official, a real estate heiress, and two others I'm not sure about. They passed by outside and probably heard the commotion. They're sisters from a Yin Family company, so they're our own people—they can keep quiet."

Cecilia Gu was quite pleased with Xiao Wang's reaction. She nodded and said, "Don't suppress the news about Helen Jiang (eldest Miss Jiang). Let them gossip as much as they want. But as for Jiang Yihai, not a single word must get out! Unfortunately, we'll have to let Xiao Heng take the blame for being seduced by the eldest Miss Jiang."

Cecilia was simply choosing the lesser of two evils.

Compared to Jiang Yihai, sacrificing Xiao Heng a little was absolutely necessary.

Xiao Wang quickly understood her reasoning and nodded, "Yes, Young Madam. My cousin... he won't mind!"

Cecilia gave a wry smile. "I'll make it up to him later."

So, with Cecilia's instruction, the rumor that Helen Jiang (eldest Miss Jiang) had her eye on Cecilia's assistant and was desperately trying to seduce Xiao Heng spread like wildfire.

Everyone looked absolutely stunned.

Nobody could believe it!

The eldest Miss Jiang actually had her sights set on Cecilia's male assistant!

Even if Helen Jiang (eldest Miss Jiang) wasn't a true Jiang by blood, as long as she held that title, she was worthy of any elite family!

Helen Jiang was actually willing to lower herself to chase after a cold, aloof assistant?

While everyone else was still in shock, one person's expression completely twisted...
