If He Cannot Be Used, He Must Be Killed
All the early-stage Nascent Divinity experts had gone off to the Quest Hall to pick up missions, leaving only eight late-stage Nascent Divinity experts in the Scripture Hall.
Even in a first-rate sect, late-stage Nascent Divinity is already top-tier strength. Fusion-stage experts rarely act and mostly serve as deterrents, so in the Immortal-Dao world, late-stage Nascent Divinity is the highest level most people ever see.
Of these five late-stage Nascent Divinity experts, three are longtime members of the Fourth Prince Residence, while the other five joined recently. Including Bada and Sam Li, the Fourth Prince Residence now has exactly ten late-stage Nascent Divinity experts.
After consulting with Ian Song, Victor Li has already passed the Fusion-stage cultivation manual to Bada and Sam Li.
As for the other eight late-stage Nascent Divinity experts, if they want the Fusion-stage manual, they have to exchange Merit Points for it.
Likewise, the Fusion-stage manual has been split into three volumes: upper, middle, and lower.
The upper volume costs 8,000 Merit Points and covers all cultivation methods from Qi-Refining up to early Fusion-stage.
The middle volume contains only the mid Fusion-stage methods and costs 12,000 Merit Points.
As for the lower volume, which contains the late Fusion-stage methods, it requires a whopping 50,000 Merit Points to redeem.
One Merit Point equals one top-grade spirit crystal, so even just the upper volume costs 8,000 top-grade spirit crystals—a staggering sum for these eight late-stage Nascent Divinity experts. Still, none of them are willing to give up, so they linger in the hall, hoping for a way.
