When Samuel Shang realized he shouldn't be thinking about these things right now, he found himself already suppressed by Joe Di's relentless Fist Mountain. In this moment, nothing in this space belonged to him—not time, not space, not even the laws of heaven and earth, which he could no longer sense at all.
Crushed—this was true, utter crushing. Terror flashed in Samuel Shang's eyes. He didn't want to perish; after struggling for so many years and surviving countless dangers, he had always pulled through. He could even sense that a great change was coming to the vast universe, and that change was his chance to shine. How could he die now?
Samuel Shang frantically burned his blood essence and lifespan, even beginning to burn his vitality. Yet the laws of heaven and earth binding him did not change in the slightest—in fact, they grew even heavier.
"Brother Di, wai—" Samuel Shang hadn't even finished his plea when the first Fist Peak crashed down onto his domain.
Crack! Samuel Shang watched helplessly as his domain shattered, then his physical body broke apart, and finally, he felt his soul and sea of consciousness collapse...
With the last of his strength, he sent the Book of Life and Death, which he had already summoned, into his own world. Even in death, he would not let Joe Di obtain anything from him.
He sensed a mysterious Dao law aura—wait, was this the rule to open his world?
Soon, Samuel Shang was certain: this profound Dao law aura was indeed the rule to open his world. Not only could Joe Di kill him with ease, he could also open his world effortlessly. All of Samuel's desperate efforts were for nothing.
Samuel Shang's gaze grew calm. As the next wave of Fist Peaks crashed down upon him, he felt a sense of release. When the gap in strength reached a certain point, what did it matter if he was unwilling to accept it? At least, until today, he had never seen anyone who could so easily open the world of a Third Step or even a Creation Realm expert.
As Joe Di swept away the treasures from Samuel Shang's world, he saw his own Yin-Yang Taiji Diagram, as well as the Book of Life and Death and the Starshroud Umbrella.
There was little else of value, aside from a few decent artifact refinement materials; almost no cultivation resources remained.
Samuel Shang's materials didn't interest Joe Di at all. His own cosmic world held far better treasures. In the Genesis Universe, every Supreme Sage was a paragon of their realm, and Joe Di had already obtained countless treasures from their worlds.
When Samuel Shang was reduced to ashes by Joe Di's fire, the surroundings fell silent. The dozen or so cultivators who had followed Samuel Shang to besiege Joe Di had already quietly retreated into the crowd. Now, all these cultivators could do was pray that Joe Di wouldn't care about them, or wouldn't bother to hold a grudge.
As for those who hadn't stepped forward, they secretly rejoiced. They were thankful they'd realized how powerful Joe Di was and hadn't tried to oppose him. Otherwise, how many of them would still be alive now? Compared to the past, the Joe Di before them was countless times stronger.
Joe Di's gaze fell on Fabian Farr, who kept retreating. "Come here for a moment."
Fabian Farr, instinctively retreating, felt Joe Di's attention and shivered as he heard Joe Di's words.
"Senior Di, I have nothing to do with Samuel Shang..." Fabian tried to sound calm, but his voice still trembled.
Joe Di nodded. "I want to ask you a few questions..."
Joe Di hadn't finished his sentence when he suddenly looked up toward the distant void.
The next moment, a foot stepped out of the void, and a middle-aged Daoist with a dark brown gourd at his waist landed before the crowd.
"Oh? Why is it so lively here?" The middle-aged Daoist glanced around, grinning as he spoke.
He then stepped directly to the spot where Samuel Shang had just fallen, closed his eyes, and sniffed the air several times as if searching for something.
"Who was just killed here?" As the middle-aged Daoist asked, the smile and casualness in his eyes vanished.
Everyone who met the middle-aged Daoist's gaze instinctively shuddered. It was a kind of crushing pressure from the Grand Way itself. In theory, the powerful cultivators of the Five Elements Universe, and those from the Lost Dao Domain, should have some impression of him. After all, no one who could remain in the Lost Dao Domain was ordinary. Yet, none of the cultivators here recognized who this Daoist was.
But then again, wasn't Joe Di also a mystery to everyone? Yet his strength was overwhelming.
"Was it you?" Because Fabian Farr was about to answer Joe Di, he was standing in a relatively open area at that moment.
"No, it wasn't me..." Fabian Farr waved his hands urgently. He could tell that this middle-aged Daoist's aura was even more formidable than Joe Di's. Faced with such a powerhouse, how could he dare admit it?
"If it wasn't you, then who was it?" Dao resonance surged around the middle-aged Daoist, killing intent swirling.
Fabian Farr dared not say it was Joe Di. In fact, not only did Fabian not dare, no one here dared say it.
Joe Di chuckled, "I killed him. Do you have a problem with that?"
Only now did the middle-aged Daoist notice Joe Di. Joe Di cultivated the Way of Rules, and as he stood here, his presence was so subdued that even an ordinary cultivator might seem more imposing than him.
Earlier, the Daoist hadn't paid Joe Di any mind, but now, as his gaze settled on Joe Di, he sensed something different. Joe Di looked weak, but in truth, he was perfectly fused with the rules of heaven and earth around him, as if he were one with the universe—nothing felt out of place.
Only the Supreme Grand Way could achieve such astonishing harmony with heaven and earth.
"What's your name?" After sizing up Joe Di, the middle-aged Daoist finally asked.
"Are you Lucas Tyrant?" Joe Di was even more interested in Lucas Tyrant. He really wanted to know if this was the same Lucas Tyrant from Chinese myth, just as he was curious if Zachary Zephyr was actually Hongjun. But that was a question he couldn't easily ask, since it involved someone else's secrets.
Lucas Tyrant was different—the two had no connection, and might even become enemies. After all, Joe Di had killed two of Lucas Tyrant's disciples, regardless of whether they were official disciples or not.

"That's right, I am Lucas Tyrant. Is it your turn to introduce yourself now?" Lucas Tyrant spoke gently, but only Joe Di realized that as he spoke, his domain completely enveloped the space.
Joe Di didn't care in the slightest. He cultivated the Way of Rules, and before Lucas Tyrant arrived, the rules of this domain were already his. No matter how strong Lucas Tyrant was, he couldn't sense that the rules here were under Joe Di's control. Lucas Tyrant expanded his Dao resonance domain, while Joe Di controlled the rules of heaven and earth.
"My name is Joe Di." Joe Di did not hide his name.
