Near the Primeval Gate, in the region where stars cycle between birth and destruction.
Hurry!
Go find a Supreme!
Seeing the fragmented, anxious messages, Blake Bloodchart felt his heart clench as if overgrown with wild weeds, his soul gripped tightly in fear.
Impossible!
That was Blake Bloodchart's first thought.
The Star-Gate Communicator is not only the exclusive device for the Spark-Heritage Zone of the Archaic Hall, but also the standard communicator for the Human Supreme Hall.
Just as people on Earth have many accounts—social media, phone numbers—but their birth certificate number never changes, so too does the Star-Gate Communicator remain constant for life.
Because it is impossible for any problem to occur.
If anything does go wrong, without exception, it is always a major incident.
Could Jane be mistaken?
Blake Bloodchart, not foolish, suppressed the thought, hurriedly took out his Star-Gate Communicator to send a message, and gripped the white bead to send another.
He activated both contact channels simultaneously.
This was an urgent, on-the-spot decision.
In a situation this serious, how could he afford to waste even a moment? Even if he failed, at least he would not be negligent. This is the basic quality of a Human Genius.
At the same time.
Standing opposite Bloodchart, Andrew Han looked utterly bewildered: “???”
What’s going on?
Bloodchart had completely lost his composure.
“No way…” Andrew stared as Bloodchart’s face changed color, his blood-red hair flaring like a tide and scattering its bindings, drifting in the void. Andrew was both shocked and uncertain: “Could it be because of me? No, I’ve only broken through to the second True Palace of the Stellar Palace Tier. Such a minor advancement couldn’t cause Bloodchart to lose control.”
Primeval-tier Geniuses are required to have a certain state of mind.
After thinking for a moment, Andrew Han stepped forward two paces, his eye twitching involuntarily.
‘My god.’
‘Bloodchart—Blake Bloodchart’s forehead is covered in sweat.’
Seeing this scene, Andrew Han took a deep breath.
Behind him was the dark red star, on either side the pale red void of the Primeval Gate, and before him the visibly anxious Bloodchart. After a moment’s hesitation, Andrew softly called, “Bloodchart?”
“Something’s gone wrong over there.” Bloodchart’s voice was low and heavy.
As he waited for confirmation, he looked up, forcing a smile. He hoped Jane was mistaken—otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Andrew Han asked in surprise, “Them?”
Bloodchart’s voice grew hoarse: “There may be a problem with the Yu-Luo Race.”
“This—this!”
Andrew Han was so stunned he couldn’t speak.
The Yu-Luo Race, a newly promoted second-rate life race, sits near the edge of Human Territory. Their explosive rise drew the attention of the Human Race, and for various reasons, the Archaic Hall sent Primeval-tier Geniuses to interact and attend the Yu-Luo clan-opening ceremony.
Of course.
After all, as a second-rate life race, the level of attention was limited.
The Star-Sky Humans have three great Halls. Only the Archaic Hall sent some Primeval-tier Geniuses.
“But…”
“The Yu-Luo Race has only just been promoted to second-rate. Who gave them such courage?” Thoughts raced through Andrew Han’s mind, but he said nothing, staring intently at Bloodchart. This level of crisis was already beyond Andrew’s ability to handle.
Not even an Eternal King could withstand the Yu-Luo Race’s malice.
On the opposite side.
Bloodchart’s face grew grim. He gritted his teeth, gripping the white bead in his palm even tighter—almost enough to crush it. “Why hasn’t there been a reply? It’s been three whole instants.”
He was a Stellar Palace–tier Primeval Genius, his combat strength equal to the peak of Void Rift.
Cosmic Wonders come in many types and levels of durability. The white bead was a twin Cosmic Wonder used for starry sky communication—not particularly sturdy.
Crack, crack.
The white bead trembled, creaking loudly.
Four instants… six instants… Andrew Han held his breath, watching Bloodchart closely.
“No more waiting.”
Cold sweat beaded on Bloodchart’s brow. He couldn’t wait any longer. He picked up his Star-Gate Communicator to report to the Spark-Heritage Zone: “This is a grave matter; the Spark-Heritage Zone must escalate it. We aren’t qualified to handle this ourselves. Even if Jane’s judgment is wrong, so be it—if we’re mistaken, we can bear it. At worst, we disturb a Supreme’s cultivation.”
Just then—
The agonizing wait, each second stretched to eternity, finally ended. The Star-Gate Communicator received a message, but the white bead remained silent.
“Is it Jane’s reply?”
Bloodchart canceled the report and checked the message.
One glance—and it was like being struck by lightning, his whole body plunged into an icy abyss. “Jane and I have a stable relationship, several epochs long. We usually communicate with the white bead. If she ever uses the Star-Gate Communicator, she always calls me Qibo Blake Bloodchart, because I’m from the Qibo Ancient Kingdom.”
However—
On the Star-Gate Communicator’s screen—
Jane’s reply read: Bloodchart, what’s the matter? We are about to open the teleportation.
“Damn it!!”
Blood rushed to Bloodchart’s head, his ears ringing so loud he couldn’t hear a thing.
“Something’s happened!”
“Something huge has happened!!!”
Though his blood boiled, Bloodchart’s heart felt cold. He hurriedly sent every detail to the Spark-Heritage Zone’s intelligence core, even openly admitting his relationship with Jane: “…That’s all. My guess is that the Star-Gate Communicator’s signal was intercepted and disguised mid-transmission to avoid detection.”
Less than half an instant later—
The Spark-Heritage Zone immediately responded: “Please keep communications open!!!”
“Understood.”
Bloodchart let out a sigh of relief.
From here on, nothing more concerned them; fate would decide everything. Either the Human Supremes intervened in time, or the Yu-Luo Race’s plot succeeded. Bloodchart still couldn’t fathom what the Yu-Luo Race truly intended.
Whether it was murder or kidnapping, it would surely provoke the Star-Sky Humans.
“Sigh.”
Bloodchart sighed, his forehead icy cold.
“Jane.”
“You all must come back.” Bloodchart silently prayed for a while, then opened his eyes and gently wiped away the cold sweat, as if erasing the panic from his heart.
After wiping away the sweat, Bloodchart looked up at Andrew Han.
The surroundings were silent. In the distance, cosmic wonders shone, the nearby pale red void was filled with deathly stillness, and Andrew Han gazed back at Bloodchart.
“Let’s go.” Bloodchart shook his head. “Rest for a while at your manor. All we can do now is pray. This likely involves Supreme-level conflict—even those at the Eternal Realm are powerless.”
After hearing this, Andrew Han fell silent.
In terms of strength, foundation, and experience, Bloodchart was far above him.
So this is what a conflict between life races is like? Andrew Han silently questioned himself as he and Bloodchart returned to the manor’s main hall, where they poured two glasses of emerald-green juice and sipped quietly.
……
At the same moment, the Archaic Hall was shaken.
The corridor Andrew Han had walked through when he first entered the Hall suddenly quaked as if the heavens and earth were collapsing.
BOOM!!!!!!
Silver radiance erupted, boundless and majestic. An elder, his entire body shining with silver light, rose to his feet—his height immeasurable, his depth unfathomable. He was the very embodiment of heaven and earth.
“Yu-Luo Race.”
“It seems they wish for their own destruction.”
When he opened his eyes, the world was born.
When he awakened, reincarnation itself was set in motion.
Like the deep roar of an entire star system, every star ignited at once. This was the Guardian of the Archaic Hall, the greatest Human achiever in the path of Celestial Sacrifice.
“Everyone, awaken!”
As mysterious ripples swept through, ancient auras rose one after another in the Archaic Hall… The endless blood sea nourishing the Nether Monument evaporated in an instant—Supremes awakened… The colossal blade standing in the Hall rang out—Supremes awakened… One by one, Supreme beings opened their eyes!
“We Humans…”
“How long has it been since we last fought…”
“If a single Primeval falls, let their entire race be buried with them!”
