"You two wait here. You, come with us." The elder said to the three, then turned and led the other three elders toward a stone house. Faye Gale and the Fiend Palace Lord had no choice but to stand and wait.
"Big brother, why do they want to see him? And who are they, really?" Faye Gale asked suspiciously.
"They're not from this world, and their strength is far beyond what we can understand. So from now on, it's best not to mention Lord Fourfold Chimera in front of others." The Fiend Palace Lord replied.
"Not from this world? Could it be... they're from the Immortal Realm?" Faye Gale guessed, her eyes wide.
"You guessed right. But for certain reasons, they've stayed here." The Fiend Palace Lord answered.
"Then why are they looking for him? Is Evan Yang really that amazing?" Faye Gale still had questions, wondering why these powerful elders sought Evan Yang.
"I don't know. Before I came here, all I knew was that they aren't from this world. As for the rest, I have no clue. I've just been waiting here until you showed up. Only in the past few days did I start paying attention to you two." The Fiend Palace Lord said.
"That's really strange." Faye Gale muttered, still puzzled.
"Alright, don't overthink it. This isn't something we can understand." The Fiend Palace Lord said briskly.
Faye Gale could only silently observe this strange place. Meanwhile, Evan Yang followed the four elders, walking a long distance to the stone house. After reaching it, they walked even further until they arrived at a wall. Each elder stretched out a hand, and the wall opened up. Evan Yang followed them inside.
"They're really powerful," Evan Yang thought. Just now, he could sense from their aura that any one of the four elders was as strong as the old woman on Genius Star.
As Evan Yang and the four elders stepped inside, he saw that it was a completely separate space, vast and boundless, with no end in sight.
"Fourfold Chimera seniors, what is this place?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"This is a space the four of us created together. Only here can we talk without anyone overhearing." The elder explained to Evan Yang.
Evan Yang wondered, could there really be someone even stronger than these four out there?
"Alright, let's begin." The elder said, and the other three nodded.
Evan Yang had no idea what was happening. Suddenly, his whole body felt light and weightless. Since this space was created by the four elders, everything inside was under their control—including Evan Yang, whose strength was far weaker than theirs.
"Seniors, what are you doing?" Evan Yang asked, confused.
"Close your eyes and feel carefully. This will help you a lot when you go to the Immortal Realm." The elder instructed Evan Yang.
Evan Yang still had no idea what was going on, but he saw the four elders close their eyes and focus intently. At first, he just felt weightless, but soon he sensed a restless energy stirring inside him.
Ever since Evan Yang advanced to the Pseudo-Immortal Stage, his pure spiritual power had already been completely transformed. Now, in his divine-sense space, the region containing his various origins began to expand.
"It's expanding? But doesn't that only happen when you're about to break through?" Evan Yang thought in surprise. He couldn't feel his power getting any stronger, but the space kept growing—from a small area to a whole kilometer across. The entire divine-sense space was filled with those attributes, but now the four origins inside felt tiny in comparison.
It kept going, from one kilometer to two. Evan Yang could hardly believe it—at this rate, the space could probably fit an entire city.
Evan Yang still didn't fully understand the divine-sense space. He only knew that it was a region only he could see, invisible and indestructible to others, but capable of destroying them.
It went on like this until the four elders finally opened their eyes, completely exhausted.
Evan Yang's divine-sense space stopped expanding, but it had already reached about ten kilometers—far beyond what he'd expected. It used to be only a few hundred meters, but now it had spread to ten kilometers.
Seeing how drained the four experts looked, Evan Yang realized it was because of him. He didn't know exactly what the bigger space would do, but if it could exhaust four such powerful elders, it had to be something incredible.
"Seniors, may I ask what you just did?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"Kid, we just enlarged your divine-sense space. That way, your origins can develop even faster." The 'money-grubbing' elder said.
Evan Yang was surprised. He didn't really know how those origins grew in the space, but if they could develop faster, that was definitely a good thing. At the very least, it meant all his attributes would keep getting stronger over time.
"Thank you, seniors." Evan Yang said gratefully.
The four elders nodded, then everyone focused on the hunchbacked elder, waiting for him to speak. The hunchbacked man saw the three looking at him and said, "Kid, I'll make it simple. We're actually from the Immortal Realm. Our sect has declined until only the four of us are left. To avoid enemies in the Immortal Realm, we haven't taken disciples or made any moves. We've just lived quietly here. But your appearance has given us hope."
Evan Yang was shocked to hear they were from the Immortal Realm, and waited curiously for what would come next.
Seeing Evan Yang's stunned expression, the hunchbacked elder continued, "We want to ask you for a favor."
"What kind of favor? If it's something I can do, I'll do my best." Evan Yang hadn't expected these four to need his help, but he couldn't imagine what he could do that even such powerful elders couldn't.
The four elders were delighted to hear this—they hadn't wasted their effort. Evan Yang felt grateful, knowing they couldn't be sure he'd help them, yet they'd already selflessly helped him.
"We believe your strength will be enough to enter the Immortal Realm someday, so we won't show up there anymore. Once you arrive, try to keep a low profile. The Immortal Realm is a graveyard of Immortals—it's far more brutal than here." The hunchbacked elder advised.
"Thank you for your concern, senior." Evan Yang replied.
"One last thing—we need you to do this for us. If, someday, you have the ability to enter the Celestial Grotto Estate, help us reclaim the Soaring Heaven Token." The hunchbacked elder said to Evan Yang.
"Soaring Heaven Token?" Evan Yang muttered.
"That's right. Once you obtain it and channel Immortal Essence into it, you'll know everything. We'll appear at that time as well." The hunchbacked elder explained.
"Immortal Essence?" Evan Yang had never heard of such a strange power before.
"It's just your current spiritual power. In the Immortal Realm, it's called Immortal Essence. Its effectiveness is more than a hundred times that of ordinary spiritual power." The hunchbacked elder said.
Evan Yang understood now—after advancing to the Pseudo-Immortal Stage, all his power had transformed into Immortal Essence.
Seeing Evan Yang understood, the four elders exchanged glances, then all bowed to him and said, "We're counting on you."
"Seniors, you're too polite. If I truly have the ability one day, I'll definitely complete this mission for you." Evan Yang promised.
The four elders were overjoyed at his answer. Evan Yang thought for a moment, then asked, "Seniors, what does the Immortal Realm look like?"
"You'll see for yourself when you get there. We won't say more." The hunchbacked elder replied.
Evan Yang wanted to ask, but seeing all four elders were of the same mind, he realized he'd have to wait until he arrived.
Since the four elders didn't want to say more, Evan Yang could only smile helplessly. Then the elders led him out.
Outside, they saw the Fiend Palace Lord and Faye Gale waiting.
"Seniors." The Fiend Palace Lord and Faye Gale greeted the four respectfully.
The four elders nodded, and the 'money-grubbing' elder said to the three, "Alright, you're done here. Go about your business. I hope you enter the Immortal Realm soon."
Evan Yang nodded. Just as he was about to speak, he and the other two were teleported to the entrance of Fiend Palace. The sudden move startled them—how much power did it take to send them straight from the west?
"Seniors, rest assured." Evan Yang said silently toward the west.
"What's wrong?" Faye Gale asked curiously, seeing Evan Yang lost in thought.
"It's nothing." Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"Liar! Those four seniors called you in for something, didn't they? Hurry up and tell us!" Faye Gale pressed.
Evan Yang couldn't possibly tell them—this was too important. He just smiled, then turned to the Fiend Palace Lord and said, "Palace Lord, let's head to the Faye clan in the Human Realm. It's time to assemble the map."
"Isn't the sixth piece still missing?" The Fiend Palace Lord asked curiously.
Evan Yang smiled and took out the map. The Fiend Palace Lord was shocked when he saw it. "You?"
"That's right. The one who snatched the map was me—I just disguised myself as Elder Liu." Evan Yang said with a grin.
"No wonder the Faye clan described the person as looking like Elder Liu. Turns out it was you in disguise—good job, kid!" The Fiend Palace Lord was excited. After all, this was the map; once they found the Immortal Realm entrance, three from Fiend Palace could enter.
"You're too kind, Palace Lord." Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"Alright, wait here. I'll go contact the others." The Fiend Palace Lord said.
Evan Yang nodded. After the Fiend Palace Lord left, Faye Gale asked sadly, "You're going to the Immortal Realm?"
"Not yet. We have to find the entrance first." Evan Yang replied.
Faye Gale fell silent, feeling a bit lost inside. If Evan Yang went to the Immortal Realm, who knew when he'd return? The Immortal Realm was nothing like the Human Realm or Fiend Realm—people couldn't come and go as they pleased.
"What's wrong?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"What about them?" Faye Gale asked, snapping out of her thoughts.
"They're cultivating in the space inside my tower." Evan Yang replied.
"So when the time comes, they'll have to leave your tower." Faye Gale said.
"That's right. We'll see when the time comes. The Immortal Realm key is one-to-one, and only those with Pseudo-Immortal Stage strength can enter. No one else can. I wish I could bring them, but that's how it works. If you force it, something could go wrong. I've heard plenty of stories like that." Evan Yang said helplessly.
People had tried to use spatial abilities to bring others along, but it just didn't work. That's why the keys were so precious and everyone fought over them.
