Cecilia Gu nodded, indicating she understood.
Just then, a car stopped outside. A man about the same age as Mr. Yun got out, carrying some health supplements.
As soon as this man arrived, the couple who had just been talking to Mr. Yun reacted as if they'd seen their enemy. Their eyes instantly turned red as they rushed toward him.
"You heartless bastard, you ruined my daughter!" Cherry Yun's mother lashed out, bumping right into Cecilia Gu.
Cecilia Gu quickly stepped back to avoid being knocked over.
Mr. Yun looked apologetically at Cecilia Gu and said, "They're Cherry's biological parents. They're just emotionally overwhelmed, please be understanding."
Cecilia Gu waved her hand, showing she didn't mind.
Charles Yin raised an eyebrow at Mr. Yun.
He was not pleased.
His woman should never have to suffer any grievance.
If anyone has to suffer, it should be him alone!
He had originally wanted to help the Yun family out.
But after seeing what just happened, he immediately gave up on that idea.
Let Cherry Yun's family deal with their own mess!

Rona Muir was also just watching the drama unfold; she couldn't care less about anyone's fate except Cecilia Gu's.
At that moment, Mrs. Yun rushed out of the room and said, "Enough, enough, stop fighting. Cherry says she wants to see him."
Cherry Yun's parents finally let go and allowed the man to go in.
Cecilia Gu finally understood why Cherry Yun was registered under the Yun family. Her parents really don't have their priorities straight.
Settling scores later is important, but now is definitely not the time.
Only parents like these would let their daughter be registered under someone else's name, just for the sake of some inheritance.
The man walked in, carrying his things.
After a while, Mrs. Yun came out again, her face clearly showing helplessness and speechlessness.
No one knows what they just talked about, but it seems the conversation didn't go well.
Cecilia Gu stood to the side, not planning to go in and check.
This was Cherry Yun's own choice, so she has to bear the consequences herself.
Rona Muir scratched her head and said to Cecilia Gu, "Looks like we really shouldn't have come today! Just look at Cherry Yun's parents—what kind of people are they? They treat you like an enemy!"
Cecilia Gu shook her head and said, "If I didn't come, they'd just use it against me. They wish I wouldn't show up, so they could frame me, throw some dirt on me, and say I'm not really part of the Yun family, just acting more important than the real Yun family members."
Rona Muir was speechless.
She knew Cecilia Gu was telling the truth.
But no matter how you think about it, this whole thing just feels suffocating.
So their daughter messes up, and now innocent people have to pay the price?
Soon, the sounds of things being thrown and people crying came from the room.
Charles Yin ignored all that noise, just focusing on playing with Cecilia Gu's fingers.
To him, Cecilia Gu's fingers were far more interesting than all their drama.
Charles Yin made it clear he wanted to stay out of everything today. Mr. Yun held back and ultimately didn't dare ask his godson-in-law to step in and solve the problem.
After all the chaos inside, the man finally came out.
As soon as he stepped out, he knelt down in front of Cherry Yun's parents.
"I know that no matter what I do today, you won't be able to forgive my mistakes. But I will take responsibility for Cherry!" the man declared passionately. "Since Cherry ended up like this because of me, I'm willing to go back, divorce my wife, and marry Cherry!"
When Cecilia Gu heard him say that, she suddenly felt uncomfortable inside.
Go back and divorce his wife, then marry Cherry Yun?
How innocent is this man's wife in all of this?
Why should she have to pay the price for this pair's mess?
Frustrated, Cecilia Gu thought about her own troubles.
Whenever she got upset, Cecilia Gu would try to pull her fingers out of Charles Yin's hand.
But how could Charles Yin let Cecilia Gu get away?
"Don't worry, for the rest of my life... except for you, I won't touch any other woman." Charles Yin grinned mischievously and whispered in Cecilia Gu's ear, "You're blaming me for this, but I'm innocent, you know!"
