Roy Zhang’s Helplessness

1/11/2026

Andrew Han had already sorted out his thoughts and gained a clear understanding of his current condition. His newly evolved Magma-State Internal Power represented an extreme condensation of martial energy, clearly still in the process of self-excavation.

His martial foundation was incomparably robust.

Just considering his martial roots alone—setting aside the current Martial Arts World—even tracing back a thousand years, it was unlikely that anyone could compare with Andrew Han.

"In truth, I've already reached the titled Martial Lord realm, only I've opened a different path... Although my martial power far surpasses the normal titled Martial Lord, I can't see what lies ahead. I'm just feeling my way forward, step by step."

As he pondered, Andrew sat beside Monica Zhang on the guest-room bed.

Today was Principal Victor Yan's birthday.

The spacious living room held four or five round tables, all made of plain yellow wood—neither large nor small—enough to seat thirty or forty people. It wasn't a formal banquet; instead... At this moment, the living room was lively and bustling, filled with Principal Victor Yan's peers, former outstanding students, and younger family members.

The atmosphere was harmonious and fairly relaxed.

After all, the birthday feast had not yet begun. Many of the juniors sat in other rooms, chatting amongst themselves and occasionally glancing at the elders in the living room.

Andrew Han and Monica Zhang sat in the guest room, undisturbed by anyone.

Even Monica's older cousin, Yvonne Yan, though she did not approve of Monica's childish behavior, was still family and couldn't openly ridicule her. She shot a couple of disgruntled glances, sized up Andrew Han's attire, and then lost interest.

"Where's Uncle Zhang?"

Andrew Han glanced at the lively living room but did not see Roy Zhang anywhere.

All he could see was the cheerful Principal Victor Yan, along with three or four young or middle-aged men in suits—likely former students of Principal Yan who had since achieved career success and now returned to celebrate his birthday.

"My dad?" Monica Zhang looked around, her delicate eyes searching. "He probably stepped out. He's been really busy with company matters lately—almost every day at the office. Even when he's in Linhaven, he has to manage things remotely."

Mm.

Andrew Han smiled gently and nodded.

In reality, Roy Zhang's company was developed enough to run independently. But since Roy was his future father-in-law, Andrew Han had specially asked the Southvale provincial authorities to offer a little extra support.

He was just thinking this when...

Monica Zhang blinked her bright eyes twice and glared fiercely at Andrew Han. "That's not right! My dad only started getting this busy recently..."
