"I don't think His Majesty the Celestial Emperor is that kind of person," Lucia Lu said.

"I don't know about the current Celestial Emperor... but his father, now he was exactly 'that kind of person.'"

Lucia Lu fell silent.

......

Sean Shaw showed the Clarity Charm he’d recorded in the Elder God Manor to the Celestial Emperor.

The Celestial Emperor slammed his palm on the table in fury: "That third son of mine is getting more and more disgraceful!"

Sean Shaw said nothing.

After a long pause, the Celestial Emperor took a deep breath: "Give me that charm! I’ll show it to your grandmother."

That meant Lady Hundred Blossoms was about to be dealt with.

Sean Shaw lowered his gaze. "Father, can we use the Divine Crimson Pill on Lady Hundred Blossoms?"

"Divine Crimson Pill? Why?" The Celestial Emperor frowned.

"Hundred Blossoms Paradise."

......

The days that followed were still filled with grueling training.

But on this particular day, Adrian Drake snuck over during a break, all excited, and started gossiping with Ryan Lu.

"Did you hear? Someone’s about to have a really bad day."

Ryan Lu, dead tired: "Who?"

"Take a guess."

"Guess my butt!" Ryan Lu shut his eyes. "Let me sleep for a minute!"

"Let me ask you—do you still remember Lady Hundred Blossoms?"

Ryan Lu perked up instantly: "Wait, what? She’s the one in trouble?"

"Trouble? That’s putting it lightly," Adrian Drake said. "She’s in huge trouble!"

"What happened? Pregnant, but can’t keep the baby?" Ryan Lu had a mischievous look.

"Way more serious than that!"

"So she can keep the baby, but doesn’t know who the dad is?"

"Shut up!" Adrian Drake snapped. "No one knows why, but the Empress Dowager just punished her—she’s been thrown into the Divine Prison!"

"Huh?" Ryan Lu’s eyes widened. "How could anyone send such a gorgeous fairy to a place like Divine Prison?"

Adrian Drake shook his head. "No one knows the details. But I bet it’s related to a certain someone."

Ryan Lu: "Who?"

Adrian Drake held up three fingers.

"Three?" Ryan Lu’s eyes went wide. "Third Highness?"

Adrian Drake nodded and whispered, "He’s probably about to be demoted."

"That serious?"

"Yeah."

"So it’s not about a baby..." Ryan Lu looked thoughtful. "Then what is it?"

The two were still whispering when His Majesty the Celestial Emperor walked over.

No one knew what he said to Divine Lord Tanya Quinn, but she gathered everyone and announced that they were to follow the Celestial Emperor to the lower realms for an urgent mission.

Four squads set off, following the Celestial Emperor.

Then Lucia Lu realized the place they’d arrived at was actually the entrance to Hundred Blossoms Paradise.

But none of them were allowed in—they had to wait at the entrance.

Lucia Lu sent Sean Shaw a message: "What’s going on? Why did His Majesty bring us here?"

Sean Shaw replied, "Lady Hundred Blossoms confessed about Hundred Blossoms Paradise. Turns out, she was the mastermind behind it all."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Lucia Lu was confused.

"She was originally Lana He’s younger sister, but broke the clan rules and got kicked out," Sean Shaw explained.

"She held a grudge, so she went back and stole the teleportation pass for Hundred Blossoms Paradise, then handed it over to Marcus Xuanchen, who’d always coveted the place.

Marcus introduced her to Leo Li, Leo Li handed her to Asher Xiao, and Asher Xiao arranged for her to serve at the Empress Dowager’s side."

"So what? Is His Majesty really here to save Hundred Blossoms Paradise himself?" Lucia Lu still felt something was off.

This kind of thing shouldn’t be handled by the Celestial Emperor himself.

He’s got five Dragon Lords and tons of divine troops—what are they even for? Why would His Majesty drag a bunch of rookie guards here himself?
