Entering Celestial Beyond

12/19/2025

Several cultivators at the Transformation Realm wisely chose not to block Joe Di. Instead, as Joe Di approached the entrance to the array gate, they sent out a message sword.

When Joe Di reached the entrance to Celestial Beyond's array gate, he did not enter. Instead, he stood calmly at the threshold, quietly observing the gate.

Since Joe Di remained still, Charlotte Ling naturally did not move either. She was certain Joe Di would not stand here for no reason; if he was waiting, it meant something was about to happen.

Charlotte Ling's guess was correct. Joe Di was not wasting time nor afraid to enter Celestial Beyond. He was here to inscribe law array flags.

Originally, Joe Di had planned not to come to Celestial Beyond until he reached the Unity Realm. Unfortunately, breaking through to the Unity Realm did not seem so easy.

Fortunately, with Charlotte Ling's help, the two of them working together could at least make a round through Celestial Beyond.

But after only half a stick of incense, Joe Di's expression turned somewhat grim.

"What's wrong?" Charlotte Ling immediately asked when she saw Joe Di's unpleasant expression.

Joe Di said gravely, "I've discovered a top-grade grand array here. Not only can I not break it, I can't even understand it. If this grand array closes, unless I reach the Dao Fusion Realm, I absolutely won't be able to escape."

"Ah..." Charlotte Ling exclaimed in shock. If such a grand array truly existed, she would advise Joe Di not to enter Celestial Beyond.

Joe Di let out a sigh of relief. "Fortunately, this grand array hasn't been activated. Although I don't fully understand it, I'm certain it has been sealed for many years."

"I understand now," Charlotte Ling suddenly said. "This grand array was likely set up jointly by Lord Ye and Damian Ning. I've heard of this before. After the two Dao Lords left, others occupied Celestial Beyond. But these newcomers weren't qualified to control the grand array, so they set up another one instead."

"How confident are you?" Joe Di's eyes lit up. If the hidden array he sensed couldn't be activated, then the guardian and trapping arrays here would pose no challenge to him.

Charlotte Ling closed her eyes again. After a few breaths, she opened them and nodded to Joe Di. "I'm certain. I'm absolutely confident."

"Good." Joe Di nodded, trusting Charlotte Ling's judgment. It was said that Lord Ye's homeworld was the Sacred Dao Domain. If Nora from the Primordial World wanted to seize the Sacred Dao Domain, she would have to appear in Celestial Beyond. If Lord Ye was truly from the Sacred Dao Domain, he would never side with Nora. Since that's the case, the grand guardian array of Celestial Beyond shouldn't be under Nora's control.

Joe Di became even more unrestrained, inscribing endless law array banners. In the end, he even took out four Five Direction Banners and placed them in the void.

His cultivation was still too low, and there were too many powerful cultivators in Celestial Beyond. He had to make preparations in advance.

……

Celestial Beyond was once famous for three places: the Celestial Lord's Mansion, Sacred Dao Avenue belonging to Lord Ye, and Taishu City ruled by Damian Ning of the Primordial World.

After the great war years ago, fewer and fewer powerful cultivators visited Sacred Dao Avenue and Taishu City. Many years later, the peerless experts Nora and Yan Jinghuan from the Primordial World arrived in Celestial Beyond. At first, these two still acted with some restraint.

But as time passed, the two became increasingly brazen, eventually seizing the Celestial Sovereign Palace. Not only that, even Taishu City and Sacred Dao Avenue were gradually swallowed up.

Because Lord Ye and Damian Ning's reputations were so formidable, when Nora from the Primordial World began to occupy Celestial Beyond, the other realm's experts did not intervene.

Nora and Gavin Yan took over more and more territory, eventually daring to kill cultivators from Sacred Dao Avenue and Taishu City. The remaining experts from other realms realized that those who fought in the great war years ago were unlikely to return. Even if some survived, they probably no longer cared about Celestial Beyond.

So these experts joined the land grab, and Celestial Beyond eventually formed a power group led by the Primordial World, with other realm experts as auxiliaries.

After the Primordial World cultivators established themselves in Celestial Beyond, the first thing they did was build a teleportation array. However, the project was massive and couldn't be completed overnight. To facilitate its construction, they imposed strict entry and exit rules in Celestial Beyond. This led to a decline in the number of cultivators entering, and those who remained were mostly the original inhabitants.

Even the cultivators who originally lived in Celestial Beyond found it difficult to stay. First, you had to possess a certain amount of territory, which you were required to offer to the new Celestial Sovereign Palace. Depending on the size and location of your contribution, the new palace would assign you a small, marginal area to reside in.

At this moment, in the Celestial Sovereign Palace of Celestial Beyond, an elder with a brown face frowned as he held a message sword. He couldn't fathom why anyone would dare to break into Celestial Beyond's array gate—was this a death wish?

Although Celestial Beyond had many powerful cultivators, only he was present now. Nora, Bill Liu, Rowan Lou, and even Long Nie were absent. He was a Dao Fusion cultivator, but only at the initial stage and currently enduring the decline of Dao Fusion. The real powerhouses of Celestial Beyond were Nora, Long Nie, Rowan Lou, and Bill Liu, who once participated in the auctions here.

This elder was Gavin Yan, the current Sovereign of Celestial Beyond. He used to rank second among the Ten Pillars of the Primordial World. Back then, the Primordial World had the most Unity Realm experts, and after the great war, it ended up retaining the most strength.

Gavin Yan pondered for half a stick of incense before finally standing up. No matter what, as the current Sovereign of Celestial Beyond, he had to deal with this matter.

He decided to wait until he met the intruder before deciding whether to send a message to Nora and the others.

"Let's go. We can enter now." Joe Di had finished setting up all kinds of array banners.

Although his array banners couldn't counter the entire guardian array of Celestial Beyond, with these banners, Celestial Beyond could no longer trap him with a confinement array.

Crossing the entrance of the guardian array, Joe Di and Charlotte Ling arrived directly at a plaza.

Five massive ancient characters floated above the plaza: Celestial Beyond Plaza!

"Welcome, honored guests from afar. Gavin Yan apologizes for not greeting you sooner." As soon as Joe Di and Charlotte Ling stepped out onto Celestial Beyond Plaza, an elder with a brown face came forward to greet them.

Joe Di glanced around and didn't even need to use his divine sense to know that the elder was undergoing decline—likely the decline of Dao Fusion. Even if he wasn't, his cultivation was only at the initial Dao Fusion stage, so Joe Di paid him no mind.

Behind the elder stood three cultivators, two men and one woman. The man in white had reached half-step Dao Fusion, while the other man and the woman were both at the late Unity Realm.

Joe Di couldn't help but marvel at the abundance of powerful cultivators in Celestial Beyond—anyone who appeared was either late Unity Realm, Dao Fusion, or half-step Dao Fusion.

Joe Di had no idea that these people were all the ruling powers of Celestial Beyond. After the Creation War, the realm's strength was nowhere near what it once was.

Facing Gavin Yan's smiling face, Joe Di didn't pay it any mind and simply nodded without speaking.

Gavin Yan had grown solemn inside. He couldn't gauge Joe Di's cultivation, but it seemed higher than his own. Charlotte Ling was definitely at Dao Fusion, at least at the initial stage, and he suspected she might have already passed through Dao Fusion decline.

They were definitely not opponents he could handle. He immediately sent messages to Nora, Long Nie, and the others, thinking that no matter how strong these two were, they'd have to keep their heads down once the true powerhouses of Celestial Beyond returned.
