Hades' Will

"Boss Yin, I want Wu Zheng's soul, but it's not for that Seven Yin Talisman Techniques scroll. You've misunderstood me!"

Boss Yin ignored Poison Dreadstar. At this moment, Rufina Howard looked exhausted, resting her head on Vivian Maple's knee, fast asleep, while Hugh Thompson continued diligently taking notes in his little notebook.

"That thing is no ordinary object. If someone could actually possess it, I'd really like to meet them myself."

Old Eccentric started talking, and Poison Dreadstar continued as well.

"After all, that guy was my first man. Lately, I've been dreaming about him a lot, so he told me he's not comfortable in Hell and hopes I can help him return to the living world."

Boss Yin paid no attention to Poison Dreadstar and just stared at Martin Lane.

"Martin Lane, aren't you afraid they'll come after you for coming back this time? After all, you leaked certain things."

"Boss Yin, if I were afraid, I wouldn't have come back. Sigh, some things just have to be dealt with. After all, being a parent isn't easy."

Boss Yin burst out laughing and glanced at me.

"Brother, if you have time, you and the kitten should make a trip to the Nether Syndicate."

I let out a startled cry and stared at John Chou, unsure of his intentions. He wanted me to go to the Nether Syndicate, but the thought of Damian Chen and his troublesome peers made me break out in a cold sweat. That whole crowd—ghost hunters to the core—were notorious for their ruthlessness.

Yet I couldn't help but wonder: why would Old Tom, founder of the Nether Syndicate, allow it to become such a merciless organization? Its members were elite, but showed no compassion for spirits, and the line between right and wrong had long since vanished.

"John, I'm far too old to be teaching anyone. This troublesome matter should be postponed for now."

"Old Tom, I only want Ethan Zhang to visit the Nether Syndicate, nothing more."

John Chou smiled as he spoke, but I didn't share his optimism. Old Tom sighed helplessly and looked at me.

"Ethan, if you wish to visit the Nether Syndicate, that's fine. When I have time, come with me for a trip."

I nodded. It was true—I knew almost nothing about the Arcane Society. If I wanted to grow stronger, I needed to learn these things.

As I waited, hunger gnawed at me, but the Ten Guides from Hades had yet to appear. It seemed they were still deep in discussion, plotting something.

Uncle Mo's gaze never left the Trial Marriage Stone. I knew just how deeply he worried about Rachel Lan—his concern was no less than my own.

"Uncle Mo, why don't we try again? Maybe this time we can break the curse of the Trial Marriage Stone."
