Buying an Entire Holy Land

"What do you want?" Ryan Ling looked at the Pavilion Master, plus all those high-and-mighty bigshots. Clearly, these guys weren't nearly as sacred as outsiders imagined—in fact, every last one of them was all about the profit.

The current situation was obviously just a balancing act of pros and cons. After all, Harlan Yanro had already hit Heavenly Immortal—who’d really want to piss off a Heavenly Immortal? Staying neutral was obviously best, but nobody would help Ryan’s crew for free!

"What do I want? Spirit liquid, immortal pills, Immortal Artifacts, magic treasures—I want a ton. Can you give me any of that?" The Pavilion Master sneered, clearly not taking Ryan seriously at all.

The other Earth Immortals heard this and just smirked coldly.

"I don’t have any of that junk, but I’ve got something way more unique—guaranteed to outclass everything. You want it?" Ryan shot back immediately.

"What treasure could you possibly have, you broke Earth-born nobody? Pfft!" The Pavilion Master didn’t even bother to look at Ryan.

Everyone else was even more openly contemptuous. Clearly, they’d already figured out Ryan’s background: he had zero foundation, zero backing.

"Oh, really? Let me show you something that'll blind your dog eyes!" Ryan didn’t hesitate. As he spoke, a wisp of the purest Immortal Qi slowly seeped out—and suddenly the whole Glass Pavilion was filled with this fresh, indescribably unique aura.

"Wh-what is that stuff?"

"What a weird scent! It’s way more special and mysterious than anything else in the Immortal Domain World—seriously, mysterious!"

"I seriously didn’t expect this guy to have something like that on him—what the heck IS it?!"

...

Everyone around was kind of stunned. That wisp of Immortal Qi had them all feeling refreshed and almost in disbelief!

"Could that be...something from the Immortal Realm?" At this point, even the Pavilion Master’s face was changing, his eyes lighting up—he looked totally entranced.

He even craned his neck, practically trying to sniff it like some kind of addict.

But right then, Ryan snapped his fingers and instantly pulled that wisp of Immortal Qi back.

"Y-you..." The Pavilion Master watched that priceless Immortal Qi vanish and just about lost his mind; his whole face nearly turned green.

"What do you mean, ‘you’? Weren’t you the one calling me a broke nobody? Weren’t you saying I had no treasures? Whatever, I bet you guys don’t even care about this stuff anyway. I’m out!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—he just spun around, ready to leave.

"W-wait!" The Pavilion Master gulped hard—there was no way he was letting a treasure like that slip away.

"What’s up?" Ryan grinned. As soon as that kind of treasure appeared, these guys’ eyes went wide and they started drooling. After all, it was Immortal Realm stuff—the kind of thing everyone in the Immortal Domain World dreams of.

"Ryan, don’t be so quick to leave—we can talk this out!" The Pavilion Master was all smiles now.

"What’s there to talk about? Your people already decided I’m just some broke loser. Guess I’ll just go!" Ryan deliberately made things difficult for them.

Hearing that, the Pavilion Master immediately started yelling: "Whoever was just badmouthing Ryan, slap yourselves right now!"

"Pavilion Master?" The surrounding Earth Immortals protested, sounding totally aggrieved.

"You can’t even manage this tiny bit of sincerity! Sigh!" Ryan shook his head, looking more and more ready to walk out.

"You turtle-brained idiots—get moving, or do I have to do it myself?" The Pavilion Master was completely pissed now. Ryan’s treasure was worth more than anything; no matter the cost, he had to have it!

As soon as the Pavilion Master said that, his Earth Immortal subordinates didn’t dare make a peep—they just started slapping their own faces, smack smack smack!

Honestly, watching that scene was pure satisfaction!

"Ryan, is that good enough now?" The Pavilion Master was practically groveling at this point—total 180 from before.

"Pretty much. You really interested in that Immortal Qi?" Ryan turned and looked at him.

"Of course! But seriously, where did you even get that?" the Pavilion Master pressed.

"Why do you care so much? If you want that Immortal Qi, you gotta promise to help me first!" Ryan shot back instantly.

"Well, uh..." The Pavilion Master was clearly still hesitating.

"Still hesitating? Fine! I’ve actually got something even higher-grade on me. Whatever, if you don’t want this Immortal Water, I’ll just leave!" Ryan snorted coldly and started showing off the Immortal Water in his hand, casually flicking it into view.

The moment it appeared, the Pavilion Master was practically drooling. Honestly, compared to Immortal Water, Immortal Qi was nothing—the difference was night and day.

"Is that—Immortal Water? Holy crap! If you give me Immortal Water, the whole Glass Pavilion will work for you, no questions asked!" The Pavilion Master lunged and hugged Ryan like he was afraid he’d run off.

"Deal! I’ll give you guys a hundred drops of Immortal Water right now, and you’ll head out with me to help the Long Family!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—he honestly hadn’t expected Immortal Qi and Immortal Water to be THIS effective. Just a hundred drops and he’d bought the whole holy land. Total win.

Honestly, Immortal Qi and Immortal Water are insanely valuable no matter where you go—even in a holy land like this, they’re worth a fortune. Who wouldn’t be jealous?

"No problem at all!" The Pavilion Master nodded frantically—clearly, a happy deal was struck!

...

Meanwhile, back in the Dragon Necropolis, Leon Long and the others had been holding out for two whole days!

For him, those two days felt like a lifetime. He didn’t dare relax for a second. Sure, the Dragon Phoenix force was still holding up above, but he could feel Harlan Yanro’s Heavenly Immortal power getting more and more stable. Before, Harlan had just broken through and was shaky, but now, after a few days, his power was rock solid!

Leon knew that once Harlan’s power stabilized, it’d be game over for them. Even with the Dragon Phoenix force above, there was no way they could block a full-power Heavenly Immortal attack!

"Ryan, why aren’t they here yet? Even if they fail, at least give me some news!" Leon Long was frustrated to the max, but he couldn’t show it—he was the clan head, after all. If he lost his cool, the rest of the family would totally fall apart.

"Clan Head, the way things are going, Harlan Yanro could show up any minute. If it comes down to it, we’ll hold them off—you take the useful ones and get out! You’re the clan head, you can always rebuild!" A few of the old family elders crowded around Leon, clearly knowing the Longs were doomed. Even an idiot could see how bad things were.

"Leave? How could I just abandon you all? No way!" Leon Long might be a bit timid by nature, but he was absolutely not the type to run and leave his clan behind. No matter how bad things got, he’d never just save himself.

"Go now, while there’s still time! If you wait for Harlan Yanro to show up, you won’t be able to leave at all!" urged one of the elders.

"He’s right—go! We’re old and useless now. Whether we live or die doesn’t matter, but you guys have to survive. That way, the Long Family can live on!" another senior said urgently.

"Enough! I’m not leaving, no matter what. If we die, we die together. I, Leon Long, will never abandon a single clansman!" Leon Long jumped up, full of anger—there was no way he’d bail!

"Sigh, why put yourself through this?" The other elders just shook their heads.

Right then, a wild scream erupted nearby—Ethan Xiao’s voice rang out: "Leon Long, you Long Family turtle brats, you think hiding in this shell means you’re safe? Today, I’ll make sure none of you even have a grave to die in!"

"We’re screwed, they finally showed up!"

"That’s it, now there’s no way out! Sigh!"

...

At that moment, the elders were totally hopeless. It wasn’t just Ethan Xiao’s voice—Harlan Yanro’s terrifying presence was descending too...
