Picking Up a FreshStars Idol

Yina Yin understood what Mi Xiaoying meant and immediately smiled.

A light apology—how boring is that!

Aren't they just acting up?

Then tie them together, let them mess around and hurt each other!

"Indeed, Miss Li and Mr. Tang are a match made in heaven." Yina Yin made the decision on the spot.

Two people who love to stir things up—let them stay together and torment each other, and leave the good men and women outside alone!

Miss Li's expression changed instantly.

If, in the past, she had been eagerly hoping to be with Tang De...

After seeing how cowardly and spineless Tang De was today, she no longer had that wish.

However, now it's not up to her to decide whether to be together or break up.

Yina Yin and Cherry Miller just decided their future for them—they have to be together now.

Miss Li wasn’t having it.

“Mom…” Miss Li protested, but before she could finish, Mrs. Li cut her off: “Miss Yin and Assistant Miller are right. Since you two are so fond of each other, as a parent, I shouldn’t break you up. I’ll contact the Tang family today and announce your engagement together! That’s settled!”

After saying that, Mrs. Li looked at Yina Yin with a pleading gaze.

“Good, since Mrs. Li is so reasonable, our Yin family isn’t unreasonable either.” Yina Yin nodded, satisfied with Mrs. Li’s arrangement. “Let’s do it this way.”

Hearing Yina Yin’s words, Mrs. Li finally let out a long sigh of relief.

Yina Yin led Cherry Miller downstairs and said, “Maybe my dad’s been too chill these years, so now all sorts of riffraff think the Yin family is easy to bully.”

“I think so too.” Cherry Miller exchanged a knowing smile with Yina Yin.

“Are you planning to keep watching the drama, or head back?” Yina Yin asked.

Cherry Miller was about to reply when suddenly, someone bumped right into Yina Yin.

Yina Yin was quick and nimble!

With a swift dodge, the guy missed her completely and stumbled straight into the wall.

Thud—

The guy just collapsed onto the floor, totally limp.

"Trying to scam us?" Yina Yin blinked and asked, "Not doing a very good job, huh?"

Cherry Miller tried to hold back a laugh, squatted down to take a look, and said, "Doesn’t look like a scam. More like he’s been drugged. Huh, isn’t this one of the pretty boys invited by the Li Residence? He is pretty cute."

Yina Yin leaned in too. She saw a handsome boy, about twenty-two or twenty-three, face flushed, lying there unconscious.

There were stairs here. Maybe the guy was trying to hide from someone?

"Do we help or not?" Yina Yin asked.

Cherry Miller honestly didn’t want to get involved. This was Li Residence business, and things had just gotten pretty tense.

Just as Cherry Miller was about to stay out of it, the guy unconsciously grabbed Yina Yin’s pant leg and muttered, "Help me... I don’t want... I don’t want to be..."

Tsk, that’s some serious will to live.

Just then, a man’s voice rang out from far away: "Where is he? Where’d he run off to? Anything I set my eyes on, no one can escape from me!"

Yina Yin raised an eyebrow.

She couldn’t stand bullies, especially this kind of thing.

Especially this kind of situation.

It was so obvious—just some rich old guy with bad intentions.

"Such a hassle." Yina Yin grabbed the unconscious pretty boy with one hand, dragged him into a nearby storage room, tossed him in like a blanket, and shut the door.

After all that, Yina Yin stood at the door with Cherry Miller, acting like nothing happened.

With the two of them there, no one dared to enter that room.
