Winston Fan was stunned!
Serena Shaw was stunned!
Tracy Chen was stunned!
The shop assistants were stunned!
The passersby were stunned!
The only one who wasn't stunned was Wendy Fang.
Wendy Fang, looking aggrieved, accused Winston Fan: "Didn't you say you and her were just business partners? If it's only business, why are you meeting her here? And why did you give her such expensive jewelry?"
Winston Fan quickly regained his composure, stood up, and said to Serena Shaw, "Ms. Shaw, I'm sorry to have disturbed your shopping. I'll take her away now."
Serena Shaw gave Wendy Fang a half-smile, then said to Winston Fan, "Mr. Fan is certainly talented and sincere in business, but when it comes to picking women... well..."
"What's it to you?" Wendy Fang rushed at Serena Shaw. "Shameless hussy! You already have a husband, and you still try to seduce someone else's boyfriend..."
This time, Serena Shaw didn't give Wendy Fang a chance to go off. She raised her hand and slapped Wendy Fang across the face!
Smack!
It was a hard slap!
Wendy Fang was left dizzy, staggering and falling to the ground.
"Mr. Fan, you'd better keep an eye on your woman. I'm not someone you can mess with!" Serena Shaw's beautiful face was icy cold. "If it weren't for your sincerity, I wouldn't dare accept this gift. But now, it looks like your girlfriend doesn't agree with your gesture!"
"Wendy Fang, if you keep acting up, we're done." Winston Fan, of course, wouldn't let Wendy Fang mess up his work, so he sternly warned her.
Winston Fan was really a gentleman.
Even at this point, all he gave was a simple warning.
Wendy Fang choked up and didn't dare say another word.
Winston Fan said sincerely to Serena Shaw, "Sorry to have made a scene, Ms. Shaw."
"As long as Mr. Fan doesn't blame me, that's enough." Serena Shaw stood up, pushed the jewelry away, and said proudly, "Anything the Shaw Family lost, I can buy it back myself. Name your price, Mr. Fan, and I'll pay double. As for the Y City contract, let's talk about it another time!"
With that, Serena Shaw left.
Winston Fan closed his eyes, suddenly feeling exhausted.
What the hell is all this?!
He'd put in so much effort, finally about to sign the final contract, only to have Wendy Fang mess everything up...
The Y City market is probably lost now!
That's a market worth tens of billions!
Gone, just like that!
Winston Fan turned to look at Wendy Fang, his eyes red with anger. "Wendy Fang, what do you want now?!"
Wendy Fang, feeling even more wronged when Winston Fan questioned her, suddenly burst into tears. "Winston Fan, have you fallen out of love with me? Is it because you think I can't help you expand your business, so now you despise me? But is that my fault? I'm not a finance major, how could I know about these things?"
"Can you please stop being unreasonable?" Winston Fan was mentally and physically exhausted.
"How am I being unreasonable? Didn't you say you have nothing going on with that woman? If that's true, why did you give her jewelry worth ten million? Do you think I'm stupid?" Wendy Fang shouted without caring about anything. "Did something shady happen between you two? Is that why you're acting like this?"
"Enough!" Winston Fan shouted, cutting Wendy Fang off. He looked at her deeply and said, "My mom was right. I must be blind!"
With that, Winston Fan ignored Wendy Fang and walked away.
"Winston Fan, stop right there! You jerk!" Wendy Fang tried to chase after him but couldn't catch up, and ended up sitting on the ground, bawling.
Tracy Chen, who had watched everything unfold, walked over with a complicated expression and helped Wendy Fang up. "Wendy Fang, it's all my fault. I misunderstood the relationship between Winston and that woman..."
"Yeah, it's all your fault! Tracy Chen, are you jealous of me? Is that why you tried to stir things up between me and Winston?" Wendy Fang, unable to vent her anger elsewhere, lashed out at Tracy Chen.
Tracy Chen froze, unable to say a word.
After a moment, Tracy Chen nodded and said, "Yes, it's all my fault. I always thought we were friends. Looks like I was wrong."
After saying that, Tracy Chen didn't look at Wendy Fang again and turned to leave.
Seeing Tracy Chen leave too, Wendy Fang started screaming, "None of you have good intentions!"
Tracy Chen walked even faster when she heard Wendy Fang yelling behind her.
What did she do wrong?
She had just told Wendy Fang what she saw—Winston Fan went into a hotel with a woman. She never said anything happened between them.
It was Wendy Fang who jumped to conclusions and made a scene, insisting they were having an affair.
It wasn't even Tracy Chen who said it!
How did Wendy Fang end up like this?
After this fight, Winston Fan never spoke to Wendy Fang again, no matter how many calls or texts she sent—he just ignored her.
Wendy Fang finally realized something was wrong.
She waited for Winston Fan outside his company, but when he heard she was downstairs, he stopped going to the office entirely and had his secretary deliver documents to his house.
After waiting three days and still not seeing him, Wendy Fang, dejected, went to the Fan Family home to look for him.
But Wendy Fang couldn't even get through the front gate of the Fan Family house.
"Please, let me see Winston! I'm his girlfriend!" Wendy Fang begged the security guard, but he was unmoved.
"It's not that I'm not letting you in. The eldest young master simply doesn't want to see you."
"I don't believe it! Winston loves me! There's no way he wouldn't see me! You must be jealous of me, that's why you won't let me in! Move! Let me in!"
The security guard was absolutely stunned!
He'd seen thick-skinned people before, but never anyone quite like this!
Winston Fan was in his study, buried in work, acting as if he had no idea Wendy Fang was outside.
These past three days had been utterly humiliating for him.
Whenever he went to social events, someone would always ask, with ill intent, what his relationship with Serena Shaw was—otherwise, why would his girlfriend's drama be so public?
Winston Fan's words were no match for a hundred mouths.
The more he tried to clear things up, the worse it got.
Serena Shaw even called to warn Winston Fan: if he couldn't fix this mess, not only would he lose the Y City market, but even their already signed projects would be canceled!

Winston Fan was truly exhausted these past few days!
The project he'd been laying the groundwork for over half a year was ruined, all because of Wendy Fang's endless drama!
Winston Fan wasn't some naive pushover, nor was he a soft-hearted coward.
He used to protect Wendy Fang because her mistakes were just childish antics.
She was cute, and her little flaws didn't really matter.
As a man, he figured it was fine to spoil her a bit.
But now Wendy Fang was getting more and more out of control—not only ruining his business, but also dragging down his reputation. That, he couldn't tolerate.
He used to like Wendy Fang, but now that feeling was dropping fast—it's in the negatives now.
If he couldn't deal with the aftermath in time, his reputation in this circle would be completely destroyed.
Winston Fan coldly told his secretary, "Kick her out. And take back the keys to her apartment. Buy her a train ticket and send her home."
"Yes, Mr. Fan." The secretary quickly carried out the order.
When Wendy Fang found out she was being sent away, it was like being struck by lightning—she was stunned!
"No, this can't be happening! You're all lying to me! Winston would never kick me out! I want to see him, I need to get answers!" Wendy Fang screamed, tears and snot running down her face—she looked absolutely pitiful.
"Miss Fang, if you have any sense of dignity left, don't go humiliating yourself." Winston Fan's secretary said coldly, "Mr. Fan hasn't asked you to pay for the damages yet—that's already gentlemanly enough. Do you even know how much you'd owe if he sued you?"
At this point, Wendy Fang was in full "I can't hear you, I can't hear you" mode—no matter what anyone said, she wouldn't listen.
"Winston must have misunderstood me! I need to explain everything to him! Get out of my way, I have to see Winston Fan!" Wendy Fang shouted, acting completely hysterical.
The secretary didn't have time to argue with Wendy Fang and nodded to the two bodyguards.
The bodyguards rushed in, each grabbing one of Wendy Fang's arms, and dragged her out of the apartment.
The secretary immediately had the locks changed and left without so much as a glance at Wendy Fang.
"Don't go! Don't!" Wendy Fang didn't even look at the suitcase she'd kicked open, stumbling after them.
But they were already long gone.
After that, Wendy Fang tried several times to find Winston Fan at his company, but every time she got near the building, security escorted her away.
Without Winston Fan's permission, how could Wendy Fang possibly get close?
Wendy Fang hugged her arms and crouched at the bus stop.
At some point, it started to rain.
Wendy Fang didn't even have an umbrella and could only sit alone in the rain.
Suddenly, an umbrella appeared over her head. At first, Wendy Fang thought Winston Fan had relented and looked up in surprise, only to see Tracy Chen's complicated and conflicted face.
"Why is it you?"
"Wendy Fang, that's enough. You've made enough of a scene these past few days." Tracy Chen, out of old classmate loyalty, tried to reason with her. "You've caused such a mess, and Winston hasn't even held you accountable. He's already done more than enough for you."
"What do you know? You don't understand anything! Winston Fan is a scumbag!" Wendy Fang repeated the same words through gritted teeth: "It's all his fault! All him! If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be like this!"
Tracy Chen looked at her speechlessly, handed her the umbrella, and walked away without another word.
This farewell was probably the last—they'd never see each other again.
Once close university friends, now they'd reached this point.
Wendy Fang, take care of yourself.
When Mi Xiaoying heard the news, she happily sipped her black tea.
Ah, how satisfying!
Yin Yuhan walked over and took a sip of black tea from Mi Xiaoying's hand. "You're in a good mood?"
"Of course I am." Mi Xiaoying squinted, looking very pleased. "Annoying flies and mosquitoes might not bite, but their buzzing is still irritating."
Yin Yuhan knew Mi Xiaoying was talking about Wendy Fang.
It really was irritating.
But today, Yin Yuhan was here to see Mi Xiaoying about something else.
"I heard that back in Six Gods Town, the eldest young master of the Zhang family was eyeing you?" Yin Yuhan narrowed his eyes dangerously.
Mi Xiaoying was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing. "How did you know?"
Yin Yuhan snorted.
Well then, let's add two more charges to the Zhang family's list of crimes!
Anyone who dares to covet his woman can rot in jail for the rest of their life!
