Chapter 1254

Every second, a dozen Four-Element Bombs surged toward the Spellcaster Alchemical Golems' position. Deafening explosions erupted one after another, the raging elemental forces of destruction engulfing hundreds of meters. Leon never stopped unleashing Four-Element Bombs—his assault was relentless.

The three Spellcaster Alchemical Golems had ceased casting spells entirely. No one could tell what was happening inside the chaos.

Suddenly, Leon's frenzied spellcasting paused. He began chanting rapidly, and the runes erupting from the phantom disk behind him didn't diminish—instead, their range expanded tenfold.

Countless Law Sigils condensed before Leon, forming a Law Sigil Bomb barely three meters across. The moment it coalesced, the skeletal frame of the bomb shot forward.

Midair, the power of the Law Sigils erupted—the frame became an immense, devouring void, tearing vast and chaotic energy straight from the ether.

It looked as if a rainbow-colored stream of light trailed behind the Law Sigil Bomb.

Across the way, the three Spellcaster Alchemical Golems emerged, clustering together and connecting their components. A glowing shield formed around them, protecting them within its light.

But in an instant, their shield was struck by Leon's fully unleashed Law Sigil Bomb.

Immediately, all sound vanished—its medium and even the laws themselves warped and shredded. Only a terrifying sphere of chaotic energy remained, slowly swelling.

When the sphere expanded to over ten meters, it suddenly detonated. The shockwave swept across the entire plaza, making the alchemical array's lights flicker wildly. Marianne and her five companions, standing hundreds of meters away, were still blasted off their feet. When they landed, every one of them was covered in dust and grime.

By now, the phantom scales beneath Leon's feet, the purple dragon behind him, the disk, and even the Book of Ten Thousand Curses had all vanished.

The magic radiating from Leon's body rapidly faded; within seconds, he looked almost indistinguishable from an ordinary person.

Dust and debris, blasted skyward, began to rain down. Fragments of Alchemical Golems fell to the ground like scrap iron.

At the edge of the plaza, Marianne and her five companions stared blankly at the scene before them, swallowing hard.

As the dust settled, the ground was littered with torn fragments of Alchemical Golems. Most of the parts were scorched and warped, some corroded as if by acid, others weathered like they'd endured centuries of desert winds.

Farther away, as the dust and debris cleared, everyone finally saw: the earth, reinforced countless times and undamaged after so many battles, had been blasted open—a crater dozens of meters wide. Even its seven-meter-thick reinforced edge had been shattered.

Inside the crater, three twisted bodies—one a Sky Rank Alchemical Golem with half its form blown away—shuddered violently. Crimson crystal eyes still flickered with light.

Within seconds, the light faded from the crystal eyes of two Alchemical Golems—their mana reactors had been shattered.

Only one Alchemical Golem, its body twisted beyond recognition, still clung to life.

Leon walked toward the crater with a calm expression. In the distance, Marianne and her five companions had turned deathly pale—not from the Alchemical Golems, but from Leon himself.

Marianne's lips trembled, and her hand clutching the narrow sword shook uncontrollably.

God, this guy really is a Ninth-Rank Title Archmage. Thirty seconds—not even thirty seconds—and he wiped out all the Level-39 Alchemical Golems and three Sky Rank Alchemical Golems with a single spell!

I must be hallucinating. There's no way anyone at my rank could be stronger than me. That's not just my opinion—the Abbot himself said it. Beneath Sky Rank, I'm the strongest.

But this is just absurd. A Ninth-Rank Title Archmage—just a Ninth-Rank Title Archmage!

My god, the outside world is just too dangerous. There are people even stronger than me...

Beside Marianne, a young Sword Saint stared in horror for a long moment before finally asking, almost in disbelief:

"Senior Sister, what just happened? What's going on here?"

Far off, Raymond had taken advantage of Leon's explosive assault, slicing off the Four-Armed Alchemical Golem's head. The Song of Life blade pierced the golem's mana reactor, ending the fight.

Raymond's eyes flickered with shock, though his face wore the smug look of someone who'd seen it coming all along.

He walked over to his six junior disciples, and seeing that everyone was unharmed, he let out a quiet sigh of relief. Then his face darkened, and he shot Constantine a vicious glare.

That idiot—he's spoiled rotten. He never listens to Archmage Leon, and now look what happened, running into danger like this.

If Archmage Leon had wanted to do more than scare these fools, they'd all be dead by now. I might've died here too.

Still, Archmage Leon's strength is truly terrifying. Mages really are stronger than Sword Saints—especially in situations like this. Sometimes, mages are just unbeatable...

Raymond watched as Leon headed for the crater, apparently to scavenge something. He stayed where he was, silently waiting.

Leon climbed down into the crater and inspected the two dead Alchemical Golems. Their Innate Runes were embedded in their arms, but now the runes had lost their luster—a sign that the golems' magic was gone.

After dismantling them, Leon found nothing unusual. But the other, twisted yet still-living Alchemical Golem—its crimson crystal eyes flickered, trying to fight back, but it had no strength left.

The massive explosive force had already destroyed all its internal energy circuits and weapon systems—even the joints were warped, leaving its body completely immobile.

But after removing its outer shell, Leon discovered that this Alchemical Golem's Innate Rune was still functioning. Strange energy circuits, not part of its original construction, spread from the rune and extended all the way to its mana reactor.
