Vincent Swallow asked gravely, his eyes full of concern. John Chou shook his head.

"My sister and I have been searching for the source of this valley, but you three disappeared right under our noses. Did none of you notice anything at all?"

Old Eccentric looked annoyed, and Vincent Swallow lowered his head in a daze. I went to sleep around nine, while Vincent Swallow and Old Eccentric drank for a while before sleeping after ten. But the three of us truly didn't notice anything unusual. Now, I recall the dream I had earlier and started to talk about it.

After listening, John Chou looked suspiciously at the opposite side of the valley.

"Normally, you shouldn't have this kind of dream on your first night here. You dreamed the whole sky burial process and woke up terrified. Have you ever seen anything like that before?"

I shook my head.

Not only have I never seen it, but after learning what a sky burial was, I never wanted to know more. For people here, this is a sacred ritual after death, but I find it hard to watch such things.

"Dreams like that—if you've never seen it before—shouldn't be so vivid. It seems something really is happening here."

John Chou spoke, smiling. At that moment, crimson ghostly threads like vines appeared on the mountainside of Sky Burial Valley in the distance. It was Isabelle Frost's power. I didn't know what they had done, but now a mass of Red Spider Lilies bloomed, their fiery red spreading across the mountainside. The scene was shockingly intense—watching those fields of Red Spider Lilies appear in such a place.

Isabelle Frost drifted forward, and suddenly I felt a strange sensation. In front of us, a patch of Red Spider Lilies seemed to vanish. When we reached the valley, we realized the lilies hadn't disappeared—they had withered and turned black. Isabelle Frost approached the withered flowers and pressed her hand against them, and the blackened lilies crumbled into dust.

"I don't know what you are. Show yourself."

Isabelle Frost shouted angrily, her sleeve sweeping out as a rumble erupted all around us. I saw crimson spectral threads root themselves into the mountainside, and the slopes of Sky Burial Valley began to collapse. Stones crashed down, and for a moment, the entire valley seemed ablaze as Isabelle Frost's power spread in every direction.

"Impressive," Old Eccentric said. Vincent Swallow nodded, and John Chou drew his mountain knife.

I grew alert as well, because this place was truly strange. Once inside, our powers were being devoured—and Tammy Blade's disappearance was likely connected to this valley.

By now, Isabelle Frost's power had completely engulfed the entire expanse of Sky Burial Valley. What puzzled me most was that within the valley, not a single plant could be seen, while scattered vegetation still clung to the outer edges.

"I'll say it one more time—show yourself."

Isabelle Frost, visibly angry, floated to the center. The rumbling continued, and I watched as a towering Red Spider Lily grew beneath her. She sat calmly on its leaf, gazing at the distant mountains.

Yet even so, nothing unusual appeared. We waited and waited, until dawn broke, and still the valley remained unchanged. Isabelle Frost finally withdrew her power.

Still, there was no sign of anything supernatural. We kept waiting, but even as daylight came, the valley remained unchanged. Isabelle Frost had no choice but to withdraw her power.
