Grace Wan seemed quite satisfied. She spoke kindly to Grace, telling her to take good care of herself and promising to visit again tomorrow, before getting up to leave.
As she left, Grace Wan glanced at Mrs. Hu without betraying any emotion.
Mrs. Hu lowered her gaze and nodded respectfully.
Grace smiled slightly, and as soon as Grace Wan left, she called out, "Let the nanny come in."
The nanny entered and leaned in to ask, "Goldie, is there anything you need?"
"You've been temporarily handling Mrs. Hu's duties and managing the staff these days. Thank you for your hard work!"
The nanny replied, "It's no trouble. Serving Goldie is my blessing."
"I was raised on your milk; how could I let you work so hard?" Grace said. "From now on, hand the management duties back to Mrs. Hu! You deserve some peace and comfort."
The nanny's expression changed slightly.
Grace discreetly gave her a meaningful look.
