Does It Make You Happy to Hurt Me

1/4/2026

Cecilia Gu just opened her mouth to speak, but Charles Yin didn’t give her the chance. With one hand, he gripped her arm tightly, pinning her lower body down with his leg.

His other hand kept igniting sparks all over her body...

Cecilia felt completely hopeless.

Why is this happening to me?

Everything was fine back at home yesterday—why did things change as soon as we returned to Newport City?

Cecilia never knew Charles Yin could be so skilled. In just a few moves, she was overwhelmed and couldn’t stand it anymore.

“See? Your body is more honest than your mouth.” Charles Yin gave a wicked smile. “Looks like she can’t wait to fulfill her wifely duties...”

Honest, my ass!

Cecilia felt like she was suffocating.

Damn it!

Charles Yin, you bastard!

Charles Yin’s gaze lingered on Cecilia’s rosy, radiant face, still glowing from her recent shower. His eyes suddenly softened.

He leaned in, leaving no room for doubt.

Cecilia, you can only be mine!

No other man will ever touch you!

The whole room was thick with the scent of intimacy, announcing to everyone what had just happened here.

Cecilia finally regained control of her body. She wanted to curse him out, but the words wouldn’t come.

During what just happened, her body didn’t seem to resist at all...

Suddenly, she felt a wave of shame.

Charles Yin’s movements had been gentle the whole time, careful not to hurt her or the baby.

Cecilia Gu couldn't help but think of that night when she walked into the wrong room. He had treated her with the same gentleness.

Could it be that he... feels something for me?

For some reason, a tiny spark of joy flashed in Cecilia's heart.

The Chief Executive Assistant came in to help Cecilia clean up, snapping her out of her thoughts.

Seeing her assistant act like this was nothing new, Cecilia's cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Suddenly remembering something, Cecilia grabbed the assistant's wrist: "Go call the doctor to check me over. I still don't feel safe!"

"Mrs. Yin, the doctor is already here. Once I've finished cleaning you up, you can go for your check-up." The assistant replied softly.

"Where's Charles Yin?" Cecilia thought of how he left right after everything ended and couldn't help but ask.

That jerk just left after planting his seeds on her—what was that supposed to mean!

"The CEO..." The assistant bit her lip, her eyes darting away from Cecilia.

Cecilia could tell her assistant was hiding something. After cleaning up and changing clothes, she turned to go confront Charles Yin.

Cecilia headed straight for the study. Just as she was about to knock, she realized the door was ajar. A woman's cheerful voice spilled out from inside: "Charles, you finally remembered me? Do you know how much I've missed you?"

"Mm." Charles Yin replied in a low voice, without any extra words.

That voice... Who is it?

Charles Yin actually let her say something like that.

Their relationship must be unusual.

If he already has someone he likes, why did he do all those things with me?

Cecilia felt as if all the blood in her body turned cold from head to toe.

Charles Yin, what is this supposed to mean?

You just got out of my bed and now you're already with another woman...

What do you take me for?

How ridiculous. I actually thought I might be someone special...

Turns out, I'm not special at all...

Cecilia slowly withdrew her hand, feeling empty in her chest.

Cecilia, what's wrong with you?

Why do you feel this way?

It's so strange. Why do I feel like this?

You and him were a mistake from the start...

Why are my eyes wet and my nose stuffy?

It must be because Charles Yin bullied me just now, that's why I feel so wronged.

But why does my heart ache so much?

Cecilia, why are you so pathetic?

Why do you even care?

He was never yours. It's normal for him to have other women. Why are you being so dramatic?

Don't think just because Charles Yin treats you well, you can push your luck...

He's only nice to you because you're carrying the Yin family's child.

Cecilia, open your eyes and see clearly! This man has never belonged to you!

As Cecilia thought this, the pain in her chest spread, making it hard for her to breathe.

At that moment, the assistant chased after her. Just as she was about to speak, Cecilia turned away, wiped her tears, and gently shook her head: "I've changed my mind. I'll go see the doctor."

After saying this, Cecilia resolutely turned and left the study doorway, heading downstairs first.
