Braving a storm of sword blades like driving wind and rain, Monkey clutched Tripitaka and the others tightly to his chest, forcing his way forward step by step.

Mother Nuwa's laughter echoed from every corner, stabbing at Monkey's nerves.

Under the relentless barrage of sword blades, wounds began to appear all over Monkey's massive body, blood pouring out in torrents.

Gritting his teeth against the agony, Monkey forced himself to keep moving forward, pushing through with sheer will.

He was already seething with rage inside!

On the outskirts, the half-serpent soldiers who hadn't yet transformed into sword blades were crushed into pulp beneath Monkey's feet. Towering palace walls collapsed like rotten wood, and the soldiers of the Women’s Kingdom scattered in panic.

Amid the thunderous roar, sand and dust broke through the barrier of steam and swept outward at lightning speed.

In the blink of an eye, Monkey had pierced through the thick steam. Shielding Tripitaka and the others, he quickened his pace, charging furiously toward the outskirts of the Women’s Kingdom. Behind him, an endless horde of half-serpent soldiers gave chase.

"Where do you think you're running off to?"

Monkey gave no reply.

With the hundred-zhang giant trampling the ground, the entire Women’s Kingdom shook.

Houses built on the hillsides collapsed with a thunderous crash. Birds and beasts fled for their lives, and even the serene, mirror-like Mother Lake surged with waves like a stormy sea.

Mountains, rivers, and trees along the way were all crushed to dust beneath his feet.

As long as he escaped the Women’s Kingdom, he would win—as long as he escaped. At this moment, that was all Monkey could think about.

The Women’s Kingdom was an oasis, water everywhere. As long as there was water, and her spiritual power did not run dry, Mother Nuwa’s attacks would never end. If what she said was true, that she’d stored up two thousand years of spiritual power... Monkey could never outlast her.

But once he left the Women’s Kingdom, everything changed. Outside was desert—not a drop of water!

It was almost laughable. They say the higher your cultivation, the more you suffer for your path. He’d never really believed it before, but now—he felt he’d paid a heavy price. Alone, he could handle anything. But the moment you drag along a few burdens... all that’s left is cursing your luck.

Monkey couldn’t help but spit fiercely in frustration.

In the distance, he could already see the desert at the edge of the forest!

Without hesitation, he reached out and grabbed the Golden Staff. Then, with a leap, he swept the massive staff in a wide arc behind him, smashing the nearest half-serpent soldiers into pulp. By the time he landed, he was already in the desert.
