Ryan Ling gritted his teeth. Looks like there’s no way out today—I’ll have to kill a few of them. These sons of bitches really don’t know their limits!
Pointing a gun at a Saint? That’s the height of disrespect. Honestly, even chopping him in half would be letting him off easy.
“You really have a death wish!” Ryan’s eyes flashed. In that instant, Minister Qian screamed in shock—his gun had suddenly turned into a red-hot iron, then melted into liquid metal, and Qian’s entire hand was reduced to bare bone in a split second. The pain made him howl nonstop.
“Has this guy’s strength already surpassed Grandmaster level?” The people nearby weren’t idiots—most had some idea of what was going on. Seeing Ryan pull off such a feat, they were naturally shocked.
Minister Qian was even more terrified, scrambling to crawl away. Clearly, he’d realized just how dangerous Ryan was!
“Don’t run! Didn’t you want the artifact on me? Come and get it!” Ryan hooked his finger lightly, and Minister Qian, who could barely move, was instantly pulled through the air toward Ryan.
“Help! Help!” Minister Qian was obviously scared out of his wits—his pants were instantly soaked with urine. He was always a fox borrowing the tiger’s might, not even Grandmaster level, totally not worth mentioning.
But seeing him get caught, plenty of the uniformed men around pulled out their pistols.
“You’re out of control! Let Minister Qian go, you little punk—what you’re doing is breaking the law. Release him now!” A squad captain shouted, clearly ready to go all out against Ryan.
“You really think a few guns are enough to catch me? Breaking the law? Heh, you guys seriously think you’re somebody.” Ryan sneered. As soon as he finished, every uniformed man holding a gun was mysteriously lifted into the air—their uniforms instantly shredded by an unseen force, leaving dozens of people in nothing but their underwear.
To the crowd, these guys weren’t state enforcers anymore—they looked like a bunch of shaved pigs! Sure, they acted tough, but deep down they were just bullies who preyed on the weak. None of them had ever seen anything like this before.
And it wasn’t just them—even the surrounding Grandmasters were staring in utter disbelief!
“Wait, could he be one of those legendary Void Realm experts?” one Grandmaster cried out in terror. With moves like Ryan’s, no ordinary master could even come close.
“Void Realm? Then what are we waiting for—run!” Another Grandmaster heard the words and bolted, face pale as a ghost. The moment one guy ran, the whole crowd started stampeding for the exits!
"Did I say you could leave?" Ryan snapped. Suddenly, black walls shot up all around, crawling with green, snakelike vines, and above them, hordes of vengeful ghosts howled.
"Holy crap!" one Grandmaster collapsed in terror, and plenty of others looked like their souls had just flown out of their bodies.
"Spare us! We had dog eyes and didn’t recognize a True Person!" The Grandmasters started kowtowing to Ryan for mercy.
Ryan barked, “Kowtow to me? You’re not worthy! Go kneel to Old Xu, Old Lu, and the others!” Nobody dared object—they all scrambled to kneel before the elderly neighbors.
Old Xu and Old Lu were totally stunned. These were Yue City’s big shots, and now they were kneeling to them—something they’d never dreamed of.
Just then, Old Xu suddenly cried out, horrified: “No—my daughter Xiaojiao’s been snatched by the Zhang Family! Those bastards plan to mess with her at Mandy Zhang’s birthday party…”
