Join Green Mountain Sect?

Is it really that good?

Can you really trust an absolute fiend? Heh... Finch Huang quietly swallowed, sitting on the cold concrete floor, her eyes helpless, her face pitiful, sneaking a glance at her sister Oriole Huang leaning against the wall.

?_?

Honestly, she didn’t want to join any Green Mountain Sect!

In the hearts of these twin sisters, Andrew Han’s ferocity was unmatched—and after witnessing him stare a General-class Specter to death, their minds were even more dazed.

Oriole Huang was equally bewildered.

“Well, for someone this strong, being sect master of a martial sect is perfectly normal.” Oriole forced herself to think, still in doubt. “But when did my sister Finch Huang become the Fifth Legend? That sounds extraordinary.”

And yet...

She actually received an invitation to join Green Mountain Sect...

She had no idea what a Legend was, nor did she know the true scale of Green Mountain Sect. But hearing Andrew Han’s vivid description, Oriole couldn’t help but imagine a scene in her mind...

Verdant mountains stretching endlessly, waterfalls cascading down, and among those ranges, Green Mountain, home to Green Mountain Sect. Buildings made of bluestone, towering and majestic, styled with ancient pavilions—palaces of jade and crystal, painted beams and carved pillars, solemn and dignified.

“Sis.”

After imagining it, Oriole quickly looked at her twin sister Finch, signaling with her eyes: “Say yes, quick.”

Off to the side.

Kevin Lin’s expression was odd. He thought to himself, “I’m a Su Stele Sect disciple, so I know a fair bit about the martial world. Rumor has it Green Mountain Sect has only one disciple—Andrew Han.”

That’s a bit much.

In broad daylight, luring a little girl... Kevin wanted to call him out, but found himself powerless—after all, it was just a rumor.

But thinking carefully, Andrew Han always treats people sincerely—maybe Green Mountain Sect really is as grand as he says.

But their opinions couldn’t affect Andrew Han.

"Child."

"Join our Green Mountain Sect, and you’re sure to reach the peak of the world!" Andrew Han’s expression was earnest—how could he just watch the Fifth Legend walk away?

Green Mountain Sect currently had only himself and Miles Ning, and with little Lucy, that made just three people.

But that was only temporary—it would have to expand sooner or later!

If a Legend joined, it would be a blessing for Green Mountain Sect... A Legend is a rare figure, on par with peerless martial prodigies; among all martial sects in Sinovera, peerless ones are rare, and Legends are even rarer.

'Besides.'

'If it’s just me, Green Mountain Sect will have only peak-level combat strength, but no Martial Lords or Martial Generals. If I’m the pillar, Martial Lords and Generals are the foundation of the sect—indispensable and absolutely crucial.'

Turning over these thoughts, Andrew Han’s smile grew even wider.

The ground was cold, and Finch Huang snuck a glance at Andrew Han.

The whole factory was silent, the air cool and fresh. Occasionally, a breeze would stir Finch Huang’s messy hair.

After a moment of silence.

Finch Huang asked, "Is Green Mountain Sect really that great?"

"Of course." Andrew Han stayed squatting, not the slightest bit impatient. "In today’s martial world, everyone knows Green Mountain Sect—after all, we win people over with virtue. Our reputation and internal atmosphere are both excellent."

Wow (☆_☆)

So impressive... Finch Huang tugged at her torn yellow short sleeve, a little tempted but still fearful and confused. In her hesitation, she couldn’t make up her mind.

"Don’t hesitate."

Andrew Han kept spinning wild tales, amazed at his own eloquence.

Having a Legend join was a big deal for Green Mountain Sect.

Besides, if Finch Huang wandered around on her own, she might attract attention from the overseas supernatural world and get taken out of Sinovera. That absolutely couldn’t happen.

How could a Sinoveran Legend serve abroad?

Although supernatural beings and martial artists are different, they share one identity—children of Sinovera!

"Trust me, you can’t go wrong." Andrew Han gently pulled Finch Huang up, frustrated by her hesitation. "If you join Green Mountain Sect, you’ll never regret it. The benefits are endless, this is a rare opportunity—what are you still hesitating for?"

Swish, swish.

Finch Huang stood up, biting her lower lip and brushing dust off her jeans.

"But..."

Finch Huang hesitated.

"What’s wrong? Is there something troubling you? Really, it’s fine if you don’t agree—don’t be nervous." Andrew Han’s voice was gentle. He always wins people over with virtue, never coercion.

Finch Huang looked up, a shy smile on her face. "I heard martial sects are the strongest, but I’ve only just awakened my supernatural ability... Besides, I’m only a second-year high schooler—if I drop out, my mom will kill me."

Just awakened her ability?

Andrew Han was taken aback. "Before you awakened your ability, what was your martial rank?"

"Around fifth or sixth rank." Finch Huang blinked and thought for a moment. "After I awakened an energy-type ability, I advanced to third rank the next day. Now I’m almost at second rank."

Her ability belonged to the energy emission type.

Seemingly useless, her ability merged with her inner strength while she slept, causing her martial rank to soar. In about a month, she went from fifth rank to second.

This was because the nine martial ranks are just the foundation stage.

Moreover, Finch Huang’s martial strength was far from its peak—actually, much weaker than most martial artists.

"I see."

"Ability first, then merge with martial strength. From now on, your ability is primary and martial arts secondary." Andrew Han finally grasped the concept of a Legend.

Weak foundation early on, hard to advance later.

For example, the three Legends in history, and the Fourth Legend from Amerique, none ever reached beyond Martial Lord to the Law Realm—at best, they were half a step into the Law Realm.

The concept of a supernatural’s half-step Law Realm is equivalent to the martial artist’s Extreme Realm in Sinovera.
