Yong River. Six Heavenly Dragon Imperial Palanquins thundered along the river’s surface, Quinn Shepherd sitting inside, pulling out Venerable Skysoar’s hairpin and activating its power. Instantly, the river surged and roared, as if giant beasts were churning beneath the water.

Suddenly, the sky dimmed, growing darker and darker, as if some monster in the river’s heart could devour everything.

The six Heavenly Dragons pulling the palanquin raced forward in terror across the dark river, when suddenly a tall mast, dragging its sails, burst through the water ahead, splitting the surface into two massive waves!

The six Heavenly Dragons dragged the palanquin, sprinting behind the mast. Dragon‑Qilin snapped his whip at the air, forcing them to run even faster.

But the ship beneath the river was also incredibly fast, its mast rising higher and higher above the water. More masts shot out, each far apart from the others.

The ship racing beneath the river’s surface was truly enormous!

Suddenly, with a thunderous crash, that ancient warship burst from the riverbed, carrying a torrent of water that poured off its deck like a waterfall, smashing onto the river’s surface.

Countless strands of black light and black qi, like chains, crisscrossed around the giant ship. From within came waves of howling, chilling to the soul!

Crack—

Dragon‑Qilin snapped his whip again, startling the Heavenly Dragons into charging straight into the black light and black qi swirling around the giant ship.

The instant the Heavenly Dragon Imperial Palanquin entered the ghost ship’s domain, the ship sank back into the depths. Dazzling light erupted, and the vessel vanished from the Yong River.

The six Heavenly Dragons hauling the palanquin braked hard, sliding across the broad deck for dozens of miles before finally coming to a stop.

Quinn Shepherd stood up, lifted the beaded curtain, and saw only darkness outside—except for a ring of enormous Black Coffins standing silently around the Heavenly Dragon Imperial Palanquin.

There were countless coffins; just now, the Heavenly Dragons had dodged and swerved continuously to avoid them.

"Junior brother, you’re late!"

A voice called out, but no one could be seen: "I’ve already fused with this ship, become invisible. If you can’t break Venerable Skysoar’s divine art, you won’t be able to rescue us."

The six Heavenly Dragons, Yan’er, and Dragon‑Qilin all looked around anxiously, but saw no figure—like an invisible person hiding nearby.

Yet when they closed their eyes, they felt surrounded by people—tens of thousands!

Quinn Shepherd stepped down from the palanquin, gripped the hairpin, and slashed forcefully. The darkness parted, revealing light—and towering figures standing across the ghost ship’s deck, countless in number!

These gods and demons possessed immense cultivation—they were the Feather‑Guard Corps of the ancient era!
