Ascending to the Immortal World

1/5/2026

Boom, boom, boom!

Right now, Ryan Ling wasn’t hesitating for a second—he had to find it, no matter what it took. Roaring like mad, he unleashed endless power, sweeping across the whole mountain like a rampaging god. The ground all around collapsed under his stomps, and the entire mountaintop was basically flattened!

But what he couldn’t believe was—the massive Main Trunk seemed to have vanished into thin air. He couldn’t find it anywhere!

"Did I get it wrong?" Ryan’s heart sank. This was not a situation where he could afford to make mistakes—if he didn’t find it, the consequences would be catastrophic. The Demonic World’s top experts were already closing in from all directions; if they surrounded him, he’d be totally screwed!

If that happened, everything he’d worked for would go up in smoke in an instant. So right now, Ryan was more tense than anyone.

The worst part was, he still hadn’t found it. To be exact, he’d basically dug out the whole mountain and come up empty. He even tried using Primeval Heavenwood to search, but still got absolutely nothing!

Ryan was running out of time. Once word got out about the disaster in Demon-Dragon City, every top expert in the Demonic World might show up in the next second—and then he’d really be finished!

And right now, the pressure in the air was getting thicker and thicker. Ryan felt he could be exposed at any moment—everything could change in the blink of an eye!

But just as things reached the breaking point, one of the Jennie Family girls suddenly shouted from the distant woods: "Look over there! There’s a light—really bright!"

"A light?" Ryan blinked, then quickly looked over. Sure enough, not far from the dragon’s head, there really was a light flickering—strange and intense, almost like ghost-fire!

But at a moment like this, Ryan didn’t hesitate for an instant—he threw a punch straight at them. With a thunderous boom, every last guard was instantly slain!

“Open the Immortal Gate for me!” Ryan shouted. Golden Immortal qi erupted from within him—his power was overwhelming. Technically, anyone who reaches Heavenly Immortal can ascend, but most cultivators won’t do it at that stage. It’s simple: if you ascend as a Heavenly Immortal, you’ll just be a slave in the Immortal World. Only those who reach the highest realms get respect. Even Golden Immortals are just ordinary folk up there, and Profound Immortals at best are commoners. Only Golden Immortals and above are truly respected—and Da Luo Golden Immortals even more so!

With Ryan’s current cultivation, the Immortal Gate would absolutely open!

The moment Ryan unleashed his power, a bizarre crack appeared in the sky—huge and dazzling, filled with five-colored light. The crack widened, and soon an immense, majestic gate manifested, overflowing with Immortal qi. It looked like the most mysterious, most awe-inspiring place in all the worlds.

At that moment, not just Ryan but everyone inside the Golden Immortal Conch saw it. There was no doubt—that was the Immortal World. Only the Immortal World could have such a glorious scene.

“Immortal World, here I come!” Ryan was bursting with excitement. It was the first time he’d ever seen such a scene—no wonder everyone who saw it was thrilled.

But just then, a deafening boom rang out—a bolt of lightning crashed down and blocked everything. The once-clear Immortal Gate turned blurry. Ryan knew immediately: the Demonic World’s top experts had arrived. They’d never let him enter the Immortal World after everything he’d done. They were here to kill him!

“Kid, you think you can leave the Demonic World? Today, you die here!” Several voices rang out, sending chills down everyone’s spine.

“Oh yeah? Let’s see what you Demonic World experts can do!” Ryan shouted back, his voice full of killing intent. He wasn’t fazed—he had the ultimate smuggling artifact, Primeval Heavenwood!

Even with all the Demonic World experts pressing in, if Ryan couldn’t hold them off, he’d leave in an instant—nothing could stop him!

“Fool!” As soon as the words left their mouth, a terrifying blast exploded out, sweeping straight at Ryan. The force shattered Da Luo Golden Immortal limits—almost like an Immortal Overlord. The scene was unbelievable!

But even now, Ryan’s strength was enough to withstand it!

Still, the immense pressure made his heart race!

“Impressive! You can still stand—let’s see if you can handle this next move!” boomed a voice. Ryan’s heart skipped a beat; the voice belonged to a true Immortal Overlord!

And there was more than one!

“Not bad!” Ryan took a deep breath. This was getting way too risky, so in a flash, he whipped out Primeval Heavenwood. It was like installing an elevator between the Immortal and Demonic Worlds—everyone from the Demonic World was left reeling, totally caught off guard!

Ryan blinked in surprise. He had a gut feeling this was exactly what he’d been searching for—no matter what, he had to check it out!

Without a moment’s hesitation, Ryan shot toward the spot. When he reached the ghost-fire, he saw something slowly rising out of the ground—a huge, green form brimming with life, radiating a powerful aura. He recognized it instantly: the unmistakable breath of Primeval Heavenwood!

“Well, would you look at that—it ended up here!” Ryan blinked in surprise but didn’t hesitate for a second; he grabbed the Main Trunk with everything he had. The Primeval Heavenwood Main Trunk was massive—so long it was breathtaking. Ryan spent nearly five minutes collecting it all, and as soon as he stowed it away, he didn’t stick around. Demon-Dragon City was now a deathtrap—if he stayed any longer, disaster was guaranteed!

He didn’t hesitate for a second—he grabbed Lady Melody and the entire Jennie Family and bolted out of Demon-Dragon City. The moment they escaped, endless waves of top experts surrounded the city, inside and out, ready to level the place!

Ryan knew full well that these experts wouldn’t find him right away, but they were the best of the best. Sooner or later, they’d track him down by the faintest trace of his aura. He had to get back to Stan City, gather everyone connected to him, and use Primeval Heavenwood to ascend straight to the Immortal World—staying in the Demonic World was no longer an option!

Ryan moved at lightning speed—almost in the blink of an eye, he was at the Immortal World’s border.

Lady Miranda, the City Lord, seemed to have sensed something—she was already waiting at the gate!

“No time to talk—just move, now!” Ryan gritted his teeth. There was no room for hesitation—they had to leave immediately!

“Got it!” Everyone nodded, and in a flash, they were ready to go—all piling into the Golden Immortal Conch. That top-tier treasure could hold entire worlds, and when Ryan got back to Stan City, he gave it another upgrade. He didn’t waste a second—he hung the conch on his waist, shouted, and shot off toward the Immortal-Demonic World border!

“Who dares break into the Immortal-Demonic World border—are you looking for trouble?” As soon as Ryan appeared, the border guards shouted, their voices brimming with killing intent.
