A New Suitor

The restaurant's first-floor dining hall was for eat-in customers. Sherry Yuan glanced around and quickly counted twenty tables in total—the place was honestly not big. Compared to those massive restaurants with hundreds of tables, this one was really no match.

But every seat was taken, clearly showing that the regulars really appreciated this place.

So the chef’s skills must be excellent; otherwise, they couldn’t keep business this good.

The second and third floors were private suites, ten on each level. The rooms weren’t big—just enough for six to eight people per suite.

It was lively everywhere, and hardly any rooms were left unused.

Looks like the owner really knows how to run a business.

"Has Mr. Yu arrived?" From a distance, a chubby man in an apron greeted them with a big smile.

"Business is booming today, Chef Quinn!" Andrew Yu replied, introducing Sherry Yuan: "This is the owner and head chef—he makes all the signature dishes here himself, no exceptions."

Chef Quinn glanced at Sherry Yuan, then laughed, "Wow, it’s rare to see Mr. Yu bring a friend! I’ll treat you to a dish today—don’t be shy! If you need anything, just ask!"

"Thanks a lot," Andrew Yu said as he led Sherry Yuan up the stairs. "Chef Quinn is always this welcoming—whenever a regular brings a friend, he’ll add a complimentary dish. That’s why regulars keep bringing more regulars, and the customer base just keeps growing."

Sherry Yuan nodded slightly.

This down-to-earth, everyday vibe really hits different.

No wonder Miles Gu’s assistant told me to spend more time with ordinary folks—this kind of life, full of warmth and realness, is honestly healing.

For once, Sherry Yuan’s expression softened.

Andrew Yu, being a business owner, was naturally observant. He noticed Sherry Yuan’s tense face relax and knew he’d picked the right place.

“Come on, have a seat.” Andrew Yu eagerly pulled out a chair and smiled, “This restaurant has several signature dishes—there’s no way we can finish them all today. We’ll just have to come again next time.”

This way, we can keep meeting up—after a few more times, we’ll be old friends.

Sherry Yuan nodded noncommittally.

When it comes to food, the Yin Family is on another level.

Whether it’s taste, aroma, appearance, or presentation—it’s always top-notch.

Charles Yin is extremely picky—if it’s not delicious or doesn’t look good, he won’t even glance at it.

So Sherry Yuan has seen all kinds of fancy meals at the Yin Family.

That’s why she wasn’t expecting much from this meal.

But once the food arrived, Sherry Yuan realized she’d been wrong.

There are so many hidden talents in this world—it’s unbelievable.

This restaurant may be small, but the flavors are genuinely amazing—not at all inferior to the big-name chefs at home. You can tell there’s real heritage here.

As Sherry Yuan ate, her eyes lit up. "Can I get some to-go?"

“Of course!” Andrew Yu could tell Sherry Yuan was enjoying herself and quickly replied, “But you’ll need to book ahead. Just relax, I’ll go talk to the owner.”

Andrew Yu hurried downstairs, found Chef Quinn, and made the request: “Chef Quinn, your food is amazing—my friend absolutely loves it.”

For a chef, there’s nothing better than getting praised by customers.
