Lucy Lu sensed something weird in the air.
She saw Evan Lin standing at the door, not going in. She thought he was too scared to enter and almost wanted to mock him.
After all, Trevor Liu was infamous for his bad temper in sophomore year.
"I'm waiting for him to come out," Evan said.
Evan turned and gave a little smile to Lucy Lu, who wore twin ponytails.
Lucy was about to say, 'Are you nuts? Waiting for Trevor Liu to come out? Who do you think you are?'
But before she could speak, a familiar voice rang out.
"Bro, can we talk outside? This isn't the place," someone said.
Trevor Liu’s face was stormy, forcing a smile as he walked over to Evan.

Trevor threw an arm around Evan’s shoulders. Evan frowned slightly, which made Trevor’s heart tremble, but he was already committed. He forced a smile: "Bro, let’s go talk over there."
Lucy Lu’s eyes widened at the scene, stunned. She watched Evan and Trevor walk away, speechless for a long moment. When their figures disappeared down the corridor, she finally grabbed a classmate and asked, "Who was that guy just now?"
"I have no idea," the classmate replied, totally baffled.
"Could it be the guy who beat up Trevor this morning?" someone suddenly remembered.
They all knew Trevor got beaten up, but no one knew exactly who did it.
"No way, that guy just now didn’t look strong enough to take on those PE jocks. Must be some rich kid," another guessed.
"Maybe..."
