"Trouble?"
Evan Lin sat in the front passenger seat as the pure-silver Rolls-Royce sped aggressively toward them.
Both cars drove toward each other, the distance closing fast.
The pure-silver Rolls-Royce gleamed with a cold metallic sheen under the sunlight.
"That license plate belongs to the Rowe clan."
Lily Liang explained simply, her gaze drifting sideways to Evan Lin: "So what do you want me to do?"
"Should I just detour, or pull over by the roadside?"
As Lily asked, she saw Evan Lin sitting calmly beside her, completely unfazed. She couldn't help feeling a bit schadenfreude.
Evan Lin was heading to cause trouble for the Rowe clan, and he hadn't even reached their base before running into Rowe people on the road.
The strength of the ancient-martial Rowe clan was on a whole different level from the Shang family.
Although she had witnessed Evan Lin's strength firsthand, Lily Liang still couldn't believe that he alone could take on the ancient-martial Rowe clan.
Her tone inevitably carried a hint of sarcasm.
"Don't waste time, just drive straight ahead."
Hearing Evan's words, Lily raised an eyebrow and sneered inwardly.
Sure enough, all that talk about going to the Rowe clan in front of so many people was just to show off his bravado.
"Did you never actually plan to take on the Rowe clan?"
Lily stepped on the gas, not planning to stop. Even if she was foolish, she wouldn't dare disobey Evan at a time like this—otherwise, she'd be finished before the Rowe clan even showed up.
"Well, that's fair. The Rowe clan isn't in the same league as the Shang family—it's packed with experts. If you're scared, that's normal."
"But don’t worry—even if we get on the highway and you decide not to go to the Rowe clan, I won’t tell anyone. You guys just can’t stand losing face, right?"
Lily smiled, thinking Evan was scared—and honestly, that made her feel a bit better inside.
She couldn’t stand Evan’s calm, unruffled attitude.
"Open the sunroof."
"What?"
Lily paused, confused.
"Open the sunroof."
Lily didn’t know what Evan was up to, but obediently opened the car’s sunroof.
As soon as the sunroof opened, wind poured in from overhead.
Evan Lin, sitting in the passenger seat, lifted himself up through the sunroof and stood on the roof, facing the roaring wind.
"What are you doing?"
Lily jumped, startled.
