Searching for the Mine Core

Rainbow Court Mistress Rainveil saying this was already enough to satisfy Evan Chu. If she hadn't agreed, there was nothing he could do about it anyway—after all, their relationship still wasn't officially confirmed.

"Thank you, Rainveil. This was the thing I worried about most. Now I can throw myself into cultivation without any distractions. Want to go check out the Violet Cloud Crystals down below?" Evan Chu said with a smile.

"You mean the ones buried in the earth? But I can't use Earthshift, otherwise I'd love to see how you dig up those supreme Violet Cloud Crystals. Are you saying you can take me underground?" Rainbow Court Mistress Rainveil blinked her big, beautiful eyes at Evan Chu, looking puzzled.

"That's right. I'm going to take you down to see for yourself. Just close your eyes and clear your mind—when you open them, you'll be there. My realm is still too low, so I can't go too deep yet," Evan Chu explained.

Actually, Evan Chu was confident he could bring Rainveil down to at least fifty meters underground. After all, his cultivation realm had improved a lot, and he believed he could do it. Without hesitation, he grabbed Rainveil's delicate jade hand, smooth as warm porcelain.

"You guys wait here for me a bit, I'll be right back." Evan Chu said to the four Divine Beasts. For now, he didn't dare bring all four of them into the soil directly. Even though they were all God-Venerable realm powerhouses, the pressure underground was intense enough as it was—let alone helping him mine Violet Cloud Crystals.

If any other guy dared to grab Rainbow Court Mistress Rainveil's jade hand, he'd be dead meat on the spot. Only Evan Chu could get away with it. At that moment, Rainveil's cheeks flushed bright red, and before she could say a word, Evan pulled her down into the earth with him.

Rainveil's heart suddenly started racing—she hadn't felt this way in years. The warmth from Evan Chu's palm made her feel both moved and blissfully content, and before she knew it, she squeezed his hand even tighter, not wanting to let go.

At that moment, Evan Chu was fully activating Earthshift, his Chaos Divine Power surging wildly inside him. If anyone could see through the earth right now, they'd notice a hazy gray divine glow shrouding his body.

Actually, Evan Chu didn't realize that after reaching the God-King Realm, his Ninefold Stellar Transformation automatically produced divine glow. Each glow had a different effect—for example, Earthshift's glow was mainly about powerful defense. With this divine glow, Evan could dive at least ten meters deeper.

If it's Woodshift's glow, then it's all about healing—injuries recover much faster. Every elemental glow works similarly, indirectly boosting the power of each transformation. Of course, if you reach the God-Emperor or God-Venerable Realm, it gets even more terrifying.

Any cultivation art that ranks in the top three of the God Realm must have something truly special. But for countless ages, no one has ever fully mastered Ninefold Stellar Transformation—not even the Ninefold Divine Sovereign himself.

Rainveil was secretly over the moon—she'd craved this feeling for ages, and now it was finally back. She felt an urge to lean her whole body against Evan Chu, and before she realized it, she was already snuggled up against his back.

Meanwhile, Evan Chu could clearly feel two very large, very soft things pressing into his back—he wasn't new to this and knew exactly what they were. To be honest, he'd been in the God Realm for ten years now and hadn't gotten close to any woman in all that time. Rainveil's move left him feeling all kinds of ways he couldn't even put into words.

But since they were underground, kissing her or doing anything else would be pretty inconvenient, so he just held back and kept diving. Rainveil, meanwhile, had already opened her eyes—hearing her beloved man's heartbeat, she thought that sound was even more beautiful than heavenly music.

Once they reached thirty meters, there were already plenty of Violet Cloud Crystals. At first, Rainveil wasn't surprised—after all, this was a Violet Cloud Crystal mine, so finding them in the soil was perfectly normal. Her Rainbow Court controlled several places that produced Violet Cloud Crystals, but the output was never that high.

But the deeper they went, the more shocked Rainveil became—she started seeing loads of high-grade and supreme Violet Cloud Crystals, and Evan Chu showed no signs of slowing down.

Evan Chu himself was stunned too—he hadn't expected that after boosting his realm, he'd be able to dive so much deeper. He was already way past the depth he'd reached here before.

There were three reasons for this: first, his strength had improved; second, the hazy gray divine glow around him—which he couldn't see himself; and third, Rainveil's presence. As a late-stage God-Venerable, she naturally had a powerful energy barrier, and that barrier quietly protected Evan Chu as they went deeper.

Seeing supreme Violet Cloud Crystals everywhere, Rainveil realized that in just one day, they could easily harvest thousands—maybe even more. As the head of a major faction, she had plenty of God Stones and Violet Cloud Crystals, but seeing this with her own eyes was something else entirely.

After diving more than sixty meters, Evan Chu finally felt a powerful pressure pressing down on him, but it was still within his limits. If he'd brought Princess Xuanyuan Yanyan or Roxanne Lin instead, they would've only managed twenty or thirty meters at most before the pressure forced them to stop.

Gritting his teeth, Evan Chu dove another ten meters. Now the Violet Cloud Crystals were everywhere, within arm's reach. Still, he hadn't found the mine core yet, which was a bit disappointing—but Rainveil was so shocked she couldn't even speak.

"See, Rainveil? I wasn't kidding—the Violet Cloud Crystals down here are everywhere. If we find the mine core, there'll be even more. By then, I won't even need to dig myself; the four Divine Beasts can do all the grunt work." Evan Chu said with a grin.

Rainveil chuckled, "Only you would be crazy enough to do this—getting four God-Venerable powerhouses to dig for Violet Cloud Crystals. If you told anyone, they'd think you were nuts!"

By now, Evan Chu was drenched in sweat. He'd brought Rainveil down here for a reason—his own divine sense was limited and couldn't probe much deeper, but Rainveil was one of the God Realm's rare experts, with a tremendously strong spiritual sense. Having her pinpoint the mine core's location in the soil was the obvious move.

"Rainveil, the pressure down here is intense—even if the four Divine Beasts came, digging for Violet Cloud Crystals would still be tough. So, did you dig all those crystals yourself before?" Rainveil asked.

"That's right—I need your help. Your spiritual sense is much stronger than mine, so take a look and see how much deeper we need to go to find the mine core. You might not know exactly what a mine core looks like, but if you spot a hollow area that seems like a unique space, that's it—that's where the mine core will be." Evan Chu explained.
