"I am Adeiron."

The star solidified, space froze, and the barefoot man in apricot-yellow battle armor smiled as he spoke.

In that instant.

Andrew Han remained highly vigilant, his mind flashing through Adeiron’s detailed dossier.

Adeiron, a Life-Synthesis-Path Cosmic Eternal of the Mory Sector, is shrouded in mystery—his exact age and history unknown. Officially registered as an immortal, he has slept for endless epochs, his name drifting through legend. Many star-fantasy protagonists and key supporting characters are modeled after Adeiron’s archetype in popular fiction...

It must be understood:

Any Cosmic Eternal who resides long-term in the Mory Sector must be officially registered.

As Star-Sector Inspector Envoy and Primal-Ancient Heaven-King, Andrew Han naturally has the authority to access all such records.

Yet no matter how he searched, Andrew could not fathom why this immortal Cosmic Eternal would appear here.

Adeiron had slept deep within the star for years, unknown to all. Was it mere coincidence that Andrew encountered him? Andrew had always believed that true coincidence does not exist.

Rumble...

The star remained motionless for a moment, then returned to its natural state.

"Your Highness."

Adeiron took a step forward.

Andrew Han instinctively stepped back, eyes fixed on Adeiron, a half-smile on his face. "You, as a Cosmic Eternal, should understand what a Primal-Ancient Heaven-King means... For an immortal to arrange a meeting with a Fusion Tier girl over the interstellar network—no matter how touching the story, this excuse is far too flimsy. If word got out, who would believe it?"

An immortal falling in love online and meeting up in person—unless stars reversed their evolution and became planets in a single day.

Differences in worldview or social status are minor issues.

The true, insurmountable gap lies in life level. Immortals are higher beings—their wisdom, thought, and beliefs are unfathomable. Matters that concern Fusion Tier cultivators are beneath Adeiron’s notice. Especially since immortals comprehend heart-force and starry laws, true emotional resonance requires both parties to be high-level lifeforms, at least Void Rift Tier and above.

Even if it were demons and ghosts together, Andrew Han might believe it.

But an immortal favoring a Fusion Tier—Andrew Han could not accept it; it was pure nonsense.

"It is only natural that Your Highness does not believe me."

Wreathed in stellar flames, Adeiron gave a bitter smile, shaking his head and spreading his hands. "But Your Highness has entered the very heart of this star, my place of slumber, and now suspects me of malicious plotting... I was quietly cultivating at home when you descended from Subspace. What could I possibly do about it?"

He could not have foreseen Andrew Han's arrival.

Nor could he restrict Andrew Han’s freedom to go wherever he pleased.

......

"Master."

Finch Huang watched quietly from the side, starting to feel a bit of regret.

Could there be something wrong with Soraya Stine? Finch glanced at Soraya, who looked puzzled, but could not figure it out.

......

"A bit like him."

From a distance, Soraya Stine gazed at Adeiron, so dazzling that her eyes ached.

Just one glance was unbearable—blood trickled from the corners of her eyes.

......

Suddenly, inspiration struck Andrew Han. He studied Soraya Stine, then looked at Adeiron, blurting out:

"An avatar?"

An immortal’s split-off incarnation can develop independent emotions and consciousness.

The thought shocked Andrew Han. Evidently, this interstellar meet-up was real: a Fusion Tier woman had crossed ancient star sectors, only to find herself facing a Cosmic Eternal. Compared to that, instant ascension was nothing.

It was like a mortal suddenly realizing they were the reincarnation of a Void Rift Tier being.

The cosmos is vast, full of wonders—Andrew Han had finally witnessed it firsthand.

"Your Highness is truly wise."

Adeiron cupped his hands in greeting, gently picked up Soraya Stine, smiled, and tossed her behind him—into a strange space at the heart of the star.

At peak Fusion Tier, Soraya Stine had no strength to resist. The world spun and shifted, and she landed in a valley filled with birdsong and flowers, a waterfall and deep pool, and a familiar figure with his back turned to her.

Even now, at the moment of reunion, Soraya Stine still did not realize just how lucky she truly was.

At the star’s edge, light and heat overflowing, Adeiron spoke softly: "I am a Strange Darling of the Life-Synthesis Path, with a peculiar constitution similar to a Sealed Celestial body. The one who made a promise to Soraya Stine was my avatar—an incarnation that developed its own consciousness."

"So that's how it is."

Andrew Han expressed his apologies, exchanged a few words from afar, then took his leave.

Life-Synthesis cultivation divides into two main branches.

Whether Adeiron favored slaughter or research, the records did not say, and Andrew Han would not presume to judge.

But allowing an avatar to develop independent consciousness is a grave cosmic taboo!

Usurping the master, taking over the nest—there are too many accidents in the process of evolution! Who knows what experiments Adeiron is conducting, or what strange secret arts he is practicing; Andrew Han does not wish to get involved.
