"You call that belittling him? Oh, come on, Stella Huang, are you blind or something, falling for a guy like him?" Raymond Yang jabbed his finger at Evan Lin, spitting as he spoke, and was about to continue.
Standing beside Stella Huang, Evan Lin stepped forward and glanced at him.
Lana Yu and Melissa Xu looked indignant, while Stella Huang's heart skipped a beat. She was just about to tell Raymond Yang to stop talking, but unexpectedly, when Evan Lin approached, Raymond Yang didn't back off at all—instead, he got even more arrogant and started shouting.
"What's your deal, huh? Staring at me like that—what, you wanna fight?" Raymond Yang sneered at Evan Lin, not backing down.
Raymond Yang was completely dismissive, acting like Evan Lin wasn't even worth worrying about.
He was now a senior, always sticking close to Leo Li, hoping to inherit the student council president position after Leo graduates—this was how Raymond planned his future.
Right now, Raymond Yang felt he'd found the perfect chance to show off in front of Leo Li, so he spoke extra loudly, trying to draw everyone's attention.
Just as he finished speaking and the crowd's attention shifted his way, Raymond Yang was ready to launch into another dramatic speech.
But all anyone saw was the boy in front of Raymond Yang—Evan Lin—shake his head, reach out, and gently pat Raymond's shoulder. His voice was calm: "Looks like your stomach hasn't been great lately—acid reflux, constipation. You should watch what you eat, especially don't eat in the bathroom. I mean, it's normal for young people to have weird habits, but if you're just grossing yourself out, fine. Just don't disgust everyone else."
Evan Lin's voice was steady and calm.
At first, when Evan Lin reached out his hand, Raymond Yang was on guard, thinking this kid really wanted to throw a punch. But to his surprise, Evan simply patted him on the shoulder.
This made Raymond Yang even more smug, convinced Evan was just scared and trying to save face with an excuse.
He straightened up, snorted, and shot Evan a look full of disdain: "You don't need to worry about me. I eat well, drink well, and my life's great! No way I'd ever eat anything in the bathroom. You're imagining things!"
Evan Lin turned to Stella Huang, who was still standing there, and said, "Find a seat, look straight ahead in a bit, and don't look back."
To everyone's surprise, Stella Huang actually did as Evan said.
Melissa Xu and Lana Yu shot Raymond Yang a glare, then followed Stella Huang, feeling a bit stifled inside.
"Kid, remember this: you and our Capitalview University's student council president are nowhere near the same level!" Raymond Yang shouted, looking proud.
But as soon as he finished, he suddenly felt nauseous, his throat burning.
"Raymond, you sounded so cool just now!"
A girl in a short skirt strolled over, her eyes flirtatious. She was also in the student council and knew Raymond Yang would likely become president, so she came over to chat and try to get close.
"Honestly, I think Stella Huang's just not thinking straight. Our President Leo's way better than that guy in every way," she said, her face full of disdain.
"Of course!" Raymond Yang nodded, his eyes lighting up. Since the girl came over herself, why not make a move?
But just as Raymond Yang reached out to hold the girl's hand, the nausea in his stomach got even worse. Suddenly, it felt like a river was flowing backwards inside him.
A second later, he instinctively opened his mouth—his stomach and bowels suddenly emptied.
Right in front of him, the flirtatious girl had just grabbed his hand, about to sit down and chat, when she caught a whiff of something foul.
The girl's face froze, and then she saw Raymond Yang gag and suddenly vomit clumps of yellow stuff from his mouth.
"Raymond just puked—did he eat something bad?" Some classmates were stunned and a few stepped forward, genuinely concerned.
But as they got closer, the stench from what Raymond vomited made their faces change instantly.
"What did he just throw up?"
"Holy crap! Isn't vomit supposed to look like food? Why does his look... like... like shit?"
Someone hesitated, then looked down at the mess on the floor. Their face twisted in horror as they recalled Evan Lin's earlier warning about eating in the bathroom. Instinctively, they blurted out: "Holy crap! That's actually shit! Raymond Yang, you really have a fetish for eating shit!"
Blergh!
No sooner had they spoken than, watching Raymond Yang keep vomiting filth, they couldn't hold back and started throwing up themselves.
The girl closest to Raymond Yang was completely stunned. She'd witnessed up close exactly what he was spewing—her worldview shattered. Looking down, she saw not just feces but orange-yellow urine splattered all over her delicate feet...
"Ahhh!"
The girl let out a miserable scream.
With Raymond Yang as the epicenter, everyone nearby scrambled away, staring at him like he was a lunatic!
You puke what you've eaten—everyone knows that. So what Raymond Yang threw up just proved what he'd eaten before.
The stench kept spreading.
The crowd erupted into chaos.
Stella Huang, walking beside Evan Lin, heard all the shouting behind her and looked stunned.
She glanced at Evan Lin, saw his calm, unchanging expression, and remembered his warning not to look back. Suppressing her curiosity, she kept moving forward.
Rather than just slapping someone silly, it's even better to destroy what they care about most. Raymond Yang was clearly obsessed with saving face—now that he's been humiliated like this, it's worse than death. It's easy to imagine how awkward his future days at school will be.
At the front table, Leo Li stood up. He'd noticed Stella Huang holding Evan Lin's wrist as they entered, and now he glared at Evan, clearly unhappy.
And seeing his flunky Raymond Yang try to show off and end up humiliated—losing face all the way to Grandma's bridge—Leo Li was in a foul mood.
"Stella Huang, who is this guy? Aren't you going to introduce him?" Leo Li asked coldly.
But as soon as he spoke, he realized everyone at the table had a different expression—none of them looked the same.
The atmosphere suddenly turned a little strange.
