Lily Evans's Chef's Special

12/2/2025

Mr. Baker was at his wit's end. The dishes at Savory House were already the newest and tastiest in Greenfield City, and they launched a new dish almost every month. This month's new creations had all been served to Mr. Lawrence, but why was he still not satisfied!?

"Mr. Baker, my dish is ready." Lily Evans said as she took off her apron.

Mr. Baker snapped back to reality, catching a whiff of an astonishing aroma wafting from the small kitchen. His eyes lit up instantly and he hurried inside.

Before him was a dish arranged beautifully, the vibrant red colors were utterly tempting! On the edge of the plate sat several flowers, and upon closer inspection, they were actually carved from red and white radishes!

Mr. Baker looked at Lily Evans with newfound respect. Forget the rest—just those radish flowers alone, hardly anyone at Savory House could carve them. Clearly, this young lady had real skill.

"This... is made from rabbit heads?" Mr. Baker was incredulous.

Lily Evans nodded and handed over the chopsticks. "This is my secret recipe, called Spicy Rabbit Head."

Just the smell was enough to make Mr. Baker weak in the knees. He quickly picked up a rabbit head and placed it in a small bowl. The moment he bit into it—oh my goodness—the flavor exploded in his mouth! Spicy, bold, and absolutely addictive!

"Delicious, absolutely delicious! Who would’ve thought that unwanted rabbit heads could be turned into something so scrumptious!" Mr. Baker felt like the dish was so good he could cry—he’d never tasted anything this amazing in his life.

Lily Evans calmly sipped her tea. "This is just one of the dishes in my secret collection."

Mr. Baker was completely won over. "Miss, are you interested in joining Savory House as a chef? I'll talk to the owner and get you a head chef position right away!"

Lily Evans just smiled—the head chef position at Savory House didn’t even tempt her.

Back in the day, she’d flown around the world cooking special banquets for royalty. Even the most elite royal families had to work around Lily Evans’s schedule and mood. If she wasn’t feeling it, no queen or president would get a taste!

"I want a share of the profits." Lily Evans said with a mischievous smile, fixing her gaze on Mr. Baker. "For every secret dish I provide, I want a fifty-fifty split with Savory House."

Mr. Baker stared in surprise at Lily Evans, dressed like a farm girl. He’d thought the head chef position was tempting enough, but this young lady wanted a fifty-fifty split—she’d be half the owner of Savory House!

Lily Evans wiped her hands and said, "You’re a savvy man, Mr. Baker. You’ve tasted my Spicy Rabbit Head yourself—you know how wildly popular this dish will be once it’s launched. I won’t touch your traditional menu, just the secret dishes I provide. Fifty-fifty split."

Mr. Baker looked at the Spicy Rabbit Head, knowing it could make Savory House’s business boom. This young lady was anything but ordinary—maybe she’d trained under some legendary imperial chef.

"But... but I can’t make that decision. I’ll have to discuss it with the owner." Mr. Baker said earnestly.

"Alright, you talk it over with your owner. I’ll come back in a few days to sell mushrooms—let me know the answer then." Lily Evans nodded. This was too big a decision for a manager; it had to be the owner’s call.

"Okay, Miss, why don’t you sit inside for a bit? I’ll have someone bring you the money for the mushrooms." Mr. Baker was extremely respectful—this young lady might be his future partner, so he had to treat her well!

Lily Evans went inside to wait with Lucky for her payment. Mr. Baker stared at the plate of Spicy Rabbit Head—he wanted to sneakily eat the whole thing himself, but thinking of Mr. Lawrence, he steeled himself and told a waiter to serve it to him.

Wasn’t Mr. Lawrence complaining Savory House didn’t have any fresh new dishes? Let’s see this top-tier Spicy Rabbit Head make him cry with delight!
