Heavenly Court.
Lingxiao Hall.
The Jade Emperor sat upright on his throne, high above, his expression solemn and dignified.
Lord Venus stood in the center of the hall, vividly recounting everything he had seen and heard in the mortal world.
The ministers on both sides of the hall wore expressions of surprise, curiosity, contemplation, oddity, and...
It took a full hour for Lord Venus to finish his report.
"You’ve worked hard, Lord Venus," the Jade Emperor said indifferently, betraying no emotion.
"It’s just what I ought to do," Lord Venus replied humbly, then withdrew to the left side of the hall.
"What do the Immortals think of this matter?" The Jade Emperor looked around and asked in a deep voice.
"Your Majesty, the mortal world has strayed from its proper course and must be set right. We should establish a new emperor!" Heavenly King Pagoda-Bearer Leon Lee, holding his pagoda, stepped forward, saluted the Jade Emperor, and spoke in a booming voice.
Upon hearing this, although the immortals each had their own opinions, they all put on an expression of staring at their noses and hearts, clearly avoiding involvement.
Seeing this, the Jade Emperor grew dissatisfied and looked to Grand Supreme Lord Lao. "Lord Lao, do you have any insight?"
Grand Supreme Lord Lao cupped his hands and said, "Forgive me, Your Majesty. I have been pondering a new batch of pills lately and dare not speak rashly!"
The Jade Emperor then personally called on several others for their opinions.
Each one made various excuses to avoid giving an answer, leaving the Jade Emperor feeling quite displeased.
Although he was just the spokesperson for Heaven's rules, he was still the ruler of the Heavenly Court—these ministers really weren't giving him any respect.
Thinking of this, the Jade Emperor's face grew even darker.
"Queen Mother, do you have any opinion?"
The Jade Emperor turned his gaze to the Queen Mother of the West sitting beside him.
The Queen Mother replied blandly, "The Peach Banquet is only three months away, and I am busy with preparations. I have no time to worry about these matters. Your Majesty, you decide!"
"Even family shouldn't go empty-handed. Besides, you can't show up for a first meeting without a gift. Why don't you introduce them to me first?" Hannah Han insisted.
After a brief pause, Ian Song decided to tell Hannah Han about his world-traveling ability. Although he wasn't yet invincible in the Main World, he could still protect his own woman. "Hannah, there's something very important I need to tell you," he said.
Seeing his serious expression, Hannah Han tensed up. "Don't tell me you have more than eleven!" she blurted.
"What are you thinking!" Ian Song said, half amused and half exasperated, then explained that he could travel to other worlds and that the eleven girls all came from different realms.
He then briefly recounted the events of each world.
"Are you sure you're not making this up?"
Although Hannah Han believed Ian Song wouldn't lie to her, she still found it hard to accept—the idea of world-traveling was just too fantastical.
"Every word I say is true. If you don't believe me, I can prove it!" Ian Song said.
"How will you prove it?"
"Put on some clothes!"
Soon, Hannah Han finished dressing. With a thought, Ian Song wrapped his arm around her and took her ten thousand meters into the sky.
"Oh my god, we're in the sky!" Hannah Han exclaimed.
Looking down at the shrunken landscape, Hannah Han cried out in surprise.
Ian Song then took Hannah Han to the summit of Mount Everest, then above the ocean, then to the Statue of Liberty in America, the Leaning Tower in Europe, the Pyramids in Africa, and so on...
In just half an hour, Ian Song brought her all around the Main World.
"Better send someone else!" Leon Lee shook his head—he couldn't trust Nate Lee, who was just too mischievous.
"Why not send a Heaven General instead?"
Mark Lee, who had been silent, suddenly spoke up.
"Good!" Leon Lee nodded. "There's a Heaven General named Derek Zhao—he's simple and honest, and has always been diligent in the Heavenly Army camp. Let's send him. Someone, summon Derek Zhao to see me!"
Leon Lee is known as the Pagoda-Bearer, but his actual post in the Heavenly Court is Grand Marshal of the Heavenly Army, commanding a million Heaven Soldiers.
Riverstone City, inside a villa.
After an intense round of lovemaking, Hannah Han lay pressed against Ian Song and asked softly, "When will you take me to meet them?"
"Anytime. How about right now?" Ian Song replied.
"Ah, that's too soon! No, I haven't bought them any gifts yet!" Hannah Han quickly shook her head.
"It's fine, we're all family—no need to be so formal!" Ian Song smiled and gently tapped Hannah Han's nose.
"Sons, the Jade Emperor trusts me so much, I can't let him down. Who do you think should go down to assist the True Emperor this time?" Leon Lee asked.
"Father, as the saying goes: know yourself and your enemy, and you will never be defeated. We know too little about the mortal world. Why not send someone to investigate first before deciding?" Jason Lee suggested.
Leon Lee nodded, "Good idea. Although Lord Venus went to the mortal world, his report was too general—he may have exaggerated. We should send someone to see for themselves. Who do you think should go?"
"Father, why don't I go to the mortal world?" Nate Lee volunteered, his eyes shining with excitement—life in the Heavenly Court was too boring, and if Lord Venus was right, the mortal world must have lots of fun things.
Leon Lee looked at Nate Lee with deep suspicion. Although his youngest son was the strongest of the three, his lotus-root body kept him from growing up, and his mindset was still that of a seven- or eight-year-old. Sending him down would likely cause trouble.
"Don't worry, Father! I won't mess things up this time!" Nate Lee promised.
"You...?"
As soon as Leon Lee returned to the Heavenly King's manor, he eagerly summoned his three sons—Jason Lee, Mark Lee, and Nate Lee—for a council.
"Don't worry, Father! I won't mess things up this time!" Nate Lee promised.
"Better send someone else!" Leon Lee shook his head—he couldn't trust Nate Lee, who was just too mischievous.
