Not only were these people shocked, even Cole Wood and Lan Wind were secretly astonished. They hadn’t expected that the divine artifacts they’d been searching for so desperately would actually be in the Chaos World. But the Chaos World was so vast, it was like searching for a needle in a haystack—utterly unrealistic, unless Elder Woodspirit really was that powerful and already knew where those divine artifacts were.
"Everyone must be wondering, with the Chaos World being so huge, how are we supposed to search for anything, right?" said Palace Lord Rowan.
Someone nodded, confirming that was exactly the concern. Palace Lord Rowan smiled and said, "Elder Woodspirit already knows the whereabouts of those artifacts. You just need to enter the Chaos Current, then go to the Chaos World, and follow the route given by Elder Woodspirit. That way, you’ll find the artifacts. But along the way, there might be unexpected dangers. No matter what, you must hold on."
Hearing that Elder Woodspirit provided the route, Cole Wood and Lan Wind were secretly amazed. Could Elder Woodspirit really be so powerful?
"In a moment, I’ll take everyone to the Chaos Current. Just follow the route as instructed. Now, I’ll give the route to Evan Yang, so all actions must follow Evan’s arrangements. No one is allowed to act on their own," said Palace Lord Rowan.
After speaking, Palace Lord Rowan sent the route to Evan Yang. When Evan saw the densely packed markings and a single red line, he was surprised. Palace Lord Rowan explained that the red line was the route, and the final blue dot was the key point—where the divine artifacts could be found.
The red line looked short, but Palace Lord Rowan said that even flying at Immortal Sovereign speed, it would take several years to reach that point. That alone showed just how vast the Chaos World was.
"Alright, I’ve given Evan the route. Now it’s up to you all—may you return victorious," said Palace Lord Rowan, then led everyone to the starting point.
On the way, Lan Wind curiously asked Palace Lord Gale, "Why are you going?"
"Of course, to help you," replied Palace Lord Gale.
"Thanks for that," said Lan Wind, surprised at how direct Lord Ridge was, so he laughed.
Lord Ridge smiled, "As long as you help me afterward, that's all I ask. Also, I need him alive—you can cripple him if you want."
"Why do you want him alive?" Lan Wind asked, frowning.
"Our Earth Temple lost a powerful cultivation technique. He knows it, so no matter what, I have to learn it from him," said Lord Ridge.
Hearing the explanation, Lan Wind laughed, "No problem. Once I’m done tormenting him, I’ll leave him alive for you."
"Thanks for that," Lord Ridge replied.
Then the two walked together in tacit understanding. Meanwhile, Cole Wood was with Zeke Wood, acting like a good senior brother on the surface, but secretly thinking: this trip to the Chaos World, first, he needed to eliminate Evan Yang, and second, to obtain those three major artifacts. With them, he’d have a chance to break through to the God Realm.
Evan Yang and the others soon arrived at a starting point, at the far western edge of the Immortal Realm. There was a vortex spinning there—this was the entrance to the Chaos Current leading to the Chaos World.
The so-called Chaos Current was a kind of star-river flow inside the Chaos World. By following this star-river, you could drift toward your destination.
"Alright, this is the starting point. I hope you all can work together to find the artifacts," Palace Lord Rowan said to the group.
Everyone nodded, then entered one after another. In total, eleven people entered the Chaos Current.
For Evan Yang, who had never been to the Chaos World—and was hearing about such a place for the first time—he now found himself inside. It was pitch-black, with only a few points of light flickering here and there. According to Morgana Dreamhaven’s explanation, those flickering points were actually world-realms.
Seeing so many world-realms, Evan Yang was secretly amazed by the vastness of the Chaos World.
"How do we follow the route? Evan, can you tell us?" Cole Wood asked at that moment.
Evan Yang knew Cole Wood was an impostor. He smiled, "Palace Lord Rowan instructed that only I can know the route for now—I'm not allowed to tell anyone else."
Those words undoubtedly offended quite a few people, but Evan Yang didn’t care. Morgana Dreamhaven also said, "This mission is tough. Just treat it as making a contribution to the God you follow."
Morgana Dreamhaven’s words calmed many, but Cole Wood, Lan Wind, and Lord Ridge didn’t see it that way. The three of them each had their own thoughts.
Seeing the group fall silent, Evan Yang said, "Let’s set out. Just follow the Chaos Current and we’ll reach the place." With that, Evan Yang walked with Morgana Dreamhaven and Palace Lord Yuna, leading the way, while the others followed behind.
"This guy is so arrogant. I want to crush him right now," Cole Wood cursed in a transmission.
"Don’t rush. We still need him to lead the way. If he doesn’t, we won’t find the God artifacts and we’ll lose out," Lan Wind said to Cole Wood.
Thinking about those God artifacts, Cole Wood could only suppress his restlessness and follow behind Evan Yang and the others.
Thus, the group drifted along the Chaos Current, like walking beside a river in the darkness of night.
Meanwhile, Palace Lord Rowan had returned to the Wood Temple and reported outside the wooden hut, "Elder Woodspirit, I’ve sent them into the designated Chaos Current."
"Good, I know. You did well—everything went just as expected," said Elder Woodspirit.
"It’s going smoothly now, but I’m worried that if Evan Yang encounters those Otherworld creatures in the Chaos World, it’ll be trouble," Palace Lord Rowan said with a frown.
"Didn’t I tell you? Otherworld creatures can’t change forms in the Chaos World. Even if they possess someone, they can only use that person’s body to fight Evan. Who among them do you think could possibly defeat Evan?" Elder Woodspirit asked.
"That... I can’t say for sure," replied Palace Lord Rowan.
"Let me tell you directly: none of them can defeat Evan. Evan is more terrifying than you realize," Elder Woodspirit said with a smile.
"Elder, what’s so terrifying about him?" Palace Lord Rowan asked, puzzled.
"You’ll understand in time. For now, I can only tell you—the God Gate’s arrival and the coming of the Otherworld Progenitor can only be resolved by him," Elder Woodspirit said deeply.
Palace Lord Rowan was surprised—Gods had vanished for years, and the Otherworld Progenitor had been sealed for ages. Could Evan Yang really change all that?
"Enough guessing. Just get back to your duties," Elder Woodspirit said.
Palace Lord Rowan nodded and left, while Elder Woodspirit muttered, "Evan Yang, don’t let me down."
In the Demon-Beast Realm, the top ten Demon-Beast Sovereigns were still fighting against that Otherworld creature, with no clear victor. The other creatures had already been defeated by the combined efforts of the Demon-Beast Sovereigns, but Lord Greenguard had released many strange bugs and possessed the bodies of several Demon-Beast experts, plunging the realm into chaos and creating a stalemate.
On the side, Lord Greenguard looked at the top ten Demon-Beast Sovereigns and sneered, "Is that all you’ve got?"
"You’re just a monster," Demon Nine cursed. He had nine bodies in total, which is why everyone called him Demon Nine. But after battling Lord Greenguard, only three bodies remained. If all three were destroyed, his physical form would be lost.
The other Demon-Beast Sovereigns had their own abilities, which allowed them to suppress Lord Greenguard.
"I’d like to see how long you can hold out," Lord Greenguard said with a cold laugh.
News of the chaos in the Demon-Beast Realm quickly spread to other realms. When Demon Sovereign Titus Skyflood of the Devil Realm received the news, he frowned and said, "Gods have vanished for years, and these Otherworld creatures reappear—what does it mean?"
"I received word from the Dark Hall—within ten thousand years, the Otherworld Progenitor will awaken. The Otherworld creatures appearing in the Demon-Beast Realm are clearly here to welcome his return," Damon Darklord said.
Looking at his old friend, Demon Sovereign Titus Skyflood was shocked. "Is it true?"
"Yes. The Dark Hall and other palaces have already taken action. Especially from the Immortal Realm, some temples have moved, and there’s something you wouldn’t expect," Damon Darklord said.
"What is it?" Demon Sovereign Titus Skyflood asked suspiciously.
"The Wind Temple, Earth Temple, Fire Temple, Wood Temple, and Water Temple—all the palace lords gathered at the Wood Temple. Under Elder Woodspirit’s arrangement, they chose one person to lead everyone into the Chaos World to search for the Three Gods’ Exclusive Artifacts," Damon Darklord explained.
"Chaos World? The Three Gods’ Exclusive Artifacts?" Demon Sovereign Titus Skyflood exclaimed.
"That’s right. Aren’t the Three Gods’ Exclusive Artifacts tempting?" Damon Darklord asked.
"Of course. We’re both Demon Sovereign true bodies now. If we could use a God-grade artifact, we might hope to become Gods. That’s been our dream for years," Demon Sovereign Titus Skyflood said.
"You can think that way, but I can’t. I’m from the Dark Hall. If I betray the Hall, do you know what that means?" Damon Darklord said.
Demon Sovereign Titus Skyflood knew the Dark Hall had rules like the Earth Temple and Water Temple. Hearing Damon Darklord’s words, he didn’t press him, and instead asked, "Then can you help me?"
