I Will Destroy Your Family

The morning sunlight painted everything with warmth and gentleness.

Yet beside the slide, Andrew Han's eyes were icy cold, as if a terrible fury was gathering within.

It had to be said—Miles Ning's influence was profound.

There had once been some restraint and kindness in Andrew Han’s heart. But now, anything that tried to bully his little sister Lucy was an unforgivable sin.

"Lucy?"

Andrew bent down to look at his little sister.

Huh?

Lucy heard her brother’s voice and paused, thinking she might be dreaming. Her little face was still scrunched with panic as she slowly opened her eyes.

Wow.

It really was her brother.

Her bright, watery eyes reflected Andrew's gentle smile.

"Brother!"

"Lucy’s scared, really scared..."

Not yet four years old, Lucy Han shook her ponytail, rushed into Andrew’s arms, and clung to his legs with aggrieved determination, tears shimmering at the corners of her eyes.

"Don’t cry, don’t cry." Andrew comforted her, a little awkwardly.

"Mm, I’ll listen to brother..." Lucy sniffled and hugged him tighter. "Lucy’s a good child. I won’t cry. Good children don’t cry."

Andrew was silent.

Huh?

Lucy rubbed against Andrew’s jeans, confused. Not getting a reply, she nervously looked up and whispered, "Brother, did I do something wrong? Lucy’s really not a bad child."

"Of course you’re a good child, Lucy."

Andrew forced a smile, full of affection, and gently patted Lucy’s small head with its ponytail. Then he picked her up and handed her to their mother, Linda Chen.

"Hold Lucy and don’t let her watch," he said softly.

"Alright, but be careful and don’t go overboard. Don’t get too angry—bratty kids are just like this," Linda said quietly, sitting on the wooden bench and hugging Lucy.

Swish!

Andrew didn’t reply. With the ball in hand, he walked toward the suited boy who was still shouting loudly.

He believed his master’s way of handling things made sense. Sometimes, there’s no need for reasoning—answer violence with violence, suppress everything with force. That’s the best solution.

"Hey!"

"Hurry up and give me back my ball!"

The boy in the suit pointed at Andrew, acting bossy and entitled.

The heavily made-up woman finally stepped forward when she saw Andrew’s expression. "Hey, he’s just a kid, doesn’t know any better. He’s just playing with you, no need to take it so seriously," she said.
