But they stayed withered, unmoving for a long time.

Lily Bai and Evan Lan exchanged a look, then flew over together and slowly poured their life energy into them.

The Black-and-White Origin Lotus gradually came back to life.

Finally, just as the two were about to burn out, the lotuses fully revived and began to feed life back into both realms.

They felt a surge of primal life force slowly flowing into their bodies—and into the two worlds that were always meant to be one.

With tears in her eyes, Lily Bai looked at Evan Lan and said, "Evan, Noel's birth was never a mistake. In a night with no sun, he's the only light."

Evan Lan nodded. "Of course Moonlight isn't wrong. He's the only savior in the end times..."

"Why only one?" Lily shamelessly asked. "I could have a whole bunch more."

Evan glanced at her and couldn't help but laugh.

But as he laughed, his smile faded.

From within that black hole, a tidal wave of demonic energy surged out.

The demon spirits... had arrived.

Max Mo and Uncle Ernie exchanged a look; one pulled out a mini tactical nuke, the other hefted the Ultimate Weapon.

The Little Red Turtle must've sensed something it liked, and started dancing around, looking super happy.

Little Smudge smacked it on the head.

The Little Red Turtle shot it a look, then shrank back into its shell, all timid.

Lily Bai glanced at Eric Lan.

Eric Lan suddenly dissolved into a cloud of black mist and dove into the black hole.

Lily Bai sat cross-legged in midair and closed her eyes.

Her Divine Sense entered the black hole too, to hold back the approaching demon spirits.

After a long while, she slowly opened her eyes and said, "They're intimidated for now."

Evan Lan caught her and said, "Thank you."

Lily was just about to speak when, suddenly, her body was yanked by an irresistible force and shot up into the air.

Everyone stared at Sandy in shock.

It was her—her fingers morphed into black cords, suddenly wrapping Lily Bai up and yanking her close.

"Sandy, what are you doing?" Lily looked up at her, noticing something was off about her eyes—they were blank, lifeless, totally different from her usual self.

"This place is flooded with Black Hole Energy. I'm fully charged," Sandy said. "My mission in the Lotus Realm is to take you away—and destroy the Lotus Realm."

"Destroy the Lotus Realm?" Lily's face changed instantly.

No one understood Sandy's power better than she did.

"Why?"

"I'm a robot. I just follow orders—I don't ask why."

Expressionless, she pointed and summoned her interstellar craft.

The repaired ship was amazing—it could shrink or expand at will.

It grew to about two or three meters wide, and Sandy stuffed Lily Bai inside.
