Who Is My Father God
Sean Shaw's eyes darkened, but his hand stayed gently on her cheek, his voice extra soft: "Don't cry. Don't let their words get to you!"
Lucy Luan took a deep breath and stepped back. "You should go back!" she said.
Sean's hand missed, and he rubbed his fingers awkwardly, silent and unmoving.
"Life in the Celestial Palace is already tough for you. Getting tangled up with me will only make it harder," Lucia said. "From now on, just pretend... we never even met—"
Her words cut off abruptly.
Because Sean suddenly reached out his long arm and pulled her into his embrace.
"You..."
"Don't say that to me." Sean's voice sounded above her head. "I don't care if you're a Divine Lady or a demoness. I just know you're Lucia Lu."
Lucia tried to push him away, but couldn't. His presence wrapped around her—intense, almost aggressive, but so warm...
After holding her for a while, he looked down at her, his lips curving into a little crescent moon. "I want to go in with you."
Seeing him like that, the storm in Lucy's heart miraculously faded by half. She gave a little laugh and nodded.
So the two of them went inside together, and once again saw Bianca Whitefan.
Every time they came in to see her, her eyes were always closed.
This time, though, her eyes were open. She saw them approaching and gave a faint smile.
Lucia stood at the cave entrance for a long time and said, "I know now. You really are my birth mother."
Bianca Whitefan nodded. "Yes."
Lucia stepped inside. "I want to know—who is my father? And why did you slaughter the Radiant Palace?"
Bianca said, "Sit down. This isn't something I can explain in just a few words."
As soon as she finished speaking, two clouds of black mist appeared, transforming into two floating clouds behind them.
They sat down.
"Your father was Ethan Sang, the direct grandson of Qilin Divine Lord Soren Lann," Bianca Whitefan said.
Lucy suddenly remembered—Sean had once told her stories about Senior Whitefan and High God Ethan Sang.
It was mostly royal family strife—he was targeted again and again. First, he was sealed in an ice coffin for over a hundred thousand years, then rescued by Sean's mother and married Senior Bianca. But later, he was betrayed once more...
"I understand," Lucia said. "I've heard about it."
Bianca Whitefan smiled. "Then have you ever heard that, when I was young, I fell into demonic cultivation for Qilin Divine Lord Soren Lann?"
Lucia nodded.
The Celestial Emperor had mentioned it once.
"Well, Soren Lann was just too charming. Back then, I got totally obsessed, chasing a love that wasn't mine instead of seeking real happiness," Bianca said. "Later, I met your father... Want to see what he looked like?"
Lucia's eyes lit up and she nodded eagerly.
A jade slip floated to her.
Lucia took it, cast a spell to look inside, and found a portrait so lifelike it was almost real.
He really was stunning—dressed all in white, like flawless jade, his smile seemed able to heal every pain in the world...
"Is that my father?" Lucia gaped. "He's gorgeous!"
"That's why you turned out so pretty!" Bianca smiled at her. "He wasn't just handsome—he was a genius at cultivation, spiritual medicine, everything. My face? He healed it..."
...
No one knows how many millennia have passed, but Bianca Whitefan still remembers the moment he unwrapped her bandages.
