Crushing Everything

"Understood!" After a unanimous discussion, the entire Tiger Clan finalized their plan. Right away, clan members started gearing up—clearly, they weren’t about to swallow this humiliation. Tonight’s bloodbath was now inevitable!

At this moment, the sky over Barbarian City was eerily silent. Under the night, rows of armored Tiger Clan troops marched toward the Kwan estate. The streets were deserted—no one in sight. But behind door cracks and window panes, terrified eyes peeked out. Everyone knew exactly what was coming: Ryan Ling had openly slaughtered Tiger Jinghui this afternoon, and the Tiger Clan’s insane counterattack was a given. Plus, Ryan had publicly threatened clan extermination—obviously targeting the Tigers. No way they’d sit this out!

“Barbarian City’s about to blow up again. I thought the Kwan Family was finished, but they’ve somehow bounced back at the last second. Wild—guess the saying’s true: a dying camel is still bigger than a horse!”

“Don’t get your hopes up. Some random punk isn’t gonna save the whole Kwan Family. No way he can hold off the Tiger Clan’s rampage tonight—he’ll be gone in a flash!”

“Exactly. The Kwan Family’s luck ran out ages ago. Even if a true god showed up to help, they’d still get wrecked. Seriously, do any of you actually want the Kwans to make a comeback?”

“Hahahaha!”

......

Right then, atop a luxury building in Barbarian City, countless eyes watched everything unfold. No doubt, these were the city’s big shots—the elders of the ten great families. Their success? They’d all snatched plenty of loot from the Kwans over the years!

So really, the Tiger Clan was just a sword in their hands. The ones who truly ran Barbarian City were these power brokers.

Meanwhile, deep under the Kwan Family’s lake, Ryan Ling and Lily were cultivating. Lily’s eyes snapped open—her senses had already picked up the commotion at the Kwan gates.

“Master, someone’s coming!” Lily followed up.

“Don’t panic, let them come!” Ryan Ling kept his eyes closed, not even glancing up. Clearly, he’d already predicted this, and before nightfall, he’d had Lily hide all the Kwan women—no loose ends.

Now Ryan Ling was helping the Kwan Family—not just because of his connection to Lily, but more importantly, he needed to carve out his own turf in the Immortal World!

That primitive tribe was obviously the wrong place to expand—resources were way too scarce. Good for hiding, but not for building a foundation. So Ryan’s plan was to develop in Barbarian City, take control of a few major families, grab some resources, and set up a huge base. That’d help both his cultivation and his future in the Immortal World!

“Mm!” Lily nodded. Even with the Kwan Family totally surrounded, as long as Ryan Ling was there, her heart felt completely at ease.

“Let’s go, keep cultivating!” Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate or get distracted—he was totally focused. His strength had already reached Profound Immortal great-perfection, just one step from the Golden Immortal Realm. Of course, he could break through anytime, but he wanted to wait until everything was ready, so the transition would be natural and perfect.

He’d already absorbed some of the power from that severed hand—enough to break through. But he wanted it to be smoother, more natural. The best way? Total relaxation. And for that, dual cultivation was hands-down the top choice.

Only through dual cultivation could someone totally relax—get their nerves loose and reach the state Ryan Ling was aiming for!

“Mm!” Of course Lily knew exactly what Ryan Ling was about to do, but she didn’t resist at all. She took off her clothes herself, and Ryan didn’t hesitate—he pulled her into his arms.

Seriously, at a time like this, they’re still doing that? Isn’t that way too wild?
