Seizing the Armor

1/18/2026

Despite all the narration, from the moment they started fighting to the instant Yvette Chen was sent flying, only a dozen breaths had passed.

"Yvette Chen actually lost!"

Stephen Situ, who hadn't acted yet, stared in disbelief at Yvette Chen as she was knocked into the air.

"That armor... there's something weird about it!"

Howard Cheng narrowed his eyes, sizing up the crude armor on Hannah Chen. Its appearance and craftsmanship were ugly, yet it had blocked Yvette Chen's attacks again and again.

He was certain that if Hannah Chen hadn't been wearing that armor, Yvette Chen would have crippled her already.

"I'll kill you all!"

A sharp roar burst from Yvette Chen. Her hair was wild, her body marked with burns, and blood stained the corner of her mouth—she looked utterly miserable.

"Yvette Chen, fall back!"

Howard Cheng shouted, having noticed that Hannah Chen's armor was still completely intact. If Yvette Chen charged in again, she'd only end up worse off.

"No! I can't just let them go!" Yvette Chen's eyes flashed coldly, a hint of killing intent in her gaze.

"Their armor is strange—fall back for now!"

Howard Cheng sent a sound transmission.

After a moment's hesitation, Yvette Chen reluctantly retreated, unwilling to accept it.

On the other side.

"It's our turn now!" Jackson Wenren stared at Stephen Situ.

"Come on!"

Stephen Situ's figure blurred, and the golden saber in his hand slashed out like lightning.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Amid a flurry of rapid metallic impacts, Stephen Situ fiercely forced Jackson Wenren and his two companions back, landing a saber strike on Ben Wang's chest.

Stephen Situ was absolutely confident in this strike—even an early Sun-Soul Realm martial artist couldn't withstand it.

But all it did was force Ben Wang to stagger back a few steps, without leaving a scratch!

"How is that possible?"

Stephen Situ exclaimed, then his eyes sharpened as his Sun-Soul phantom appeared behind him. His attacks grew even fiercer and faster, like a violent storm.

Despite his relentless assault, he struck the three again and again, but the crude Flamefrost Armor they wore was ridiculously tough—even at full strength, he couldn't hurt them at all.

He refused to believe it, thinking their armor must have a limit, so he attacked even more frantically.

Dozens of moves went by.

Stephen Situ's offensive slowed, despair creeping into his eyes—he still couldn't hurt them.

"Now it's our turn!"

Jackson Wenren and his two companions launched their counterattack, fighting recklessly without any defense.

This reckless style left Stephen Situ extremely frustrated, forcing him to retreat again and again.

Finally, after two hundred moves, Stephen Situ was injured.

After two hundred seventy-five moves, Stephen Situ was seriously injured.

"What bizarre armor! It's clearly not divine armor, but its defense is equal to or even greater than top-tier divine armor!" Howard Cheng ignored Stephen Situ's injuries, staring intently at the Flamefrost Armor on Jackson Wenren and his companions.

"What armor are you wearing?" Howard Cheng asked the next moment.

"None of your business!"

Jason Zhuge sneered. At this moment, they finally felt vindicated.

Howard Cheng smiled dismissively, but the next moment a cold smile appeared on his face: "Hand over your armor, and I'll let this go."

At these words, Jason Zhuge and the other five's faces changed.

"Dream on if you want our armor!" Jason Zhuge said coldly.
